So why does this rental agency make the difference. I am a Navy Veteran (Corpsman) and didn't realize that the first rental for one day is free for Veterans. Shannon gave it to me on the second rental and exclaimed "we love our veterans." She could of easily told me I miss the boat on the free first one day rental. In the future I will use no other rental agencies other than leeway. I highly recommend leeway. Veterans get your Veterans ID cards in hand and get ready for a big, warm "thank you for your service." The real deal, performing customer service one customer at a time. PS. They also rotate their inventory and make vehicles available for purchase.

They have 13 year old cars that they will charge u $75 to clean when u return no matter if u swept it or not, which u did, and they call pretty regularly to remind u of payment for more days of rental with no problem. But when it's time for THEM to decide to rip u off $75 for a "cleaning fee. They do not call and just take it off of your card. I know that's agreed upon but some professionalism is considerate, especially two weeks before Christmas. I've never had this problem at any other rental place and I had a 2022 Yukon xl from enterprise this year for a month and a half. No fees. But the 2006 Chevy impala with holes in the seat had to be cleaned and I had to be charged. That screams ripoff to make more money. Save the hassle and do not rent a car here. This is when zero stars should be an option. Oh and when u call nicely to question it, that are totally rude and reprimand you in the phone. Lol. NEVER again.

I mean real good. A 2024 Mazda 3. It was a dream car. A dream ride. Very friendly service for pick up and drop off. A 5 star review for that. The lady advised me to book one for the ride home ASAP as I had mentioned to her that I would be needing one. The location I dropped off at had a recent hail storm so their cars were flying out of there as people were getting their cars repaired. I took her advice and booked my reservation. As I was responding to an email to confirm, I noticed it said return location was the same as pick up. That's not what I needed at all. So I called them to see if I could switch that to a one way and the guy proceeded to tell me the drop off location is not accepting cars on that day but he could work it so I could do it the following day. I had to think on that because that was gonna be $100 more and to be honest money's tight for everyone. So the next day I called back to confirm I would take it because I need to get home. The lady told me she was sorry but the guy I previously talked to had no right to tell me that. There was no way I could do a one way trip from my picked location to my destination. So she patched me in with her supervisor. Now this is where they get a negative 5 star. My son and I asked about 5 different locations to do this from and to. All these locations were denied to us with an attitude. My son was actually calm through all this when asking these places which surprised me because his face was reading something else. In the middle of him asking a certain location the supervisor told him he needed to calm down. Ok. First of all he was not being a Karen so who was she to say calm down to him? Second of all the way she stated it was very unperfessional. The tone she had, she should not be in customer service. And then when he went to ask about a 6th location the lady hung up. She said she could not help and hung up. No " can I help you with anything else" no " I'm sorry we cannot help you at this time". She was flat out rude as hell. The kicker... my parents were on their way down to get me when they ran into car problems. They called and the lady they talked to said they had what i needed and was looking for. In a location that we specifically asked about. And also...they can't rent me a car but they can try to sell me one. Yeah. Definitely not recommending them. Definitely not using them again. This has been a huge nightmare.

When i contacted the business owner who paid for it, they asked to talk to Tate the manager.. Tate didnt try to resolve this.. not understanding the issue the business owner swore and Tate totally declined our reservation and declined us to even come get it tomorrow or make a new reservation.. so now my autistic son does not get to go on vacation through enterprise... thanks Tate, you represent enterprise poorly. I didnt realize 1 F bomb in frustration made you able to ruin a 9 year old autistic childs vacation.

    Buyers beware I got a car from Tri-Star I was told I was approved for a loan so I went in and…read moresigned my paperwork not sure if it was because they are that incompetent or because I was only 18 but I was told by a third party that worked there I needed to return my car or come back because the loan was wrote up wrong. I had it reviewed well my parents did and the contract was not legal however I guess they wrote the wrong loan down they said to the third party 11 days after signing the paperwork I got a call from a sales man and was told to return my car or they will lose their asses, I informed them I did nothing wrong and they were to make good on our payment. So after them making me and my parents with my 2 1/2 year old brother wait over two hours to resign a contract that was their mistake I ended paying a little more a month but we came up with an agreement so I thought okay mistakes are made however when getting the car I was told since I had a missing lug nut one would be ordered. I said about the lug nut again when signing the second loan for the car and I was told everything was the same except I dropped key care. Well that has been 40 days since the first signing and 5 calls from my mom and three from me still no lug nut today she talks to parts guy he says they didn't return calls because they lost a manager really and it would be 56.99 or something like that for a set. I was told I would get a replacement since the car didn't have one really. So the parts guy says he is talking to the first sales man I talked to and will call back. I guess I learned a valuable lesson all car places are shady but some you just shouldn't trust at all. Not sure what upsets me the most the rude phone calls , the breaching of confidentially, the not returned phone calls, the hours waiting after they made a mistake, or them trying to charge me more money after I was told something would be replaced since it wasn't on the car. Good thing I love the car because the service was completely unacceptable from sales to parts, and the biggest question I have is how Tri-Star stays in business when they treat customers so badly

    My Dad had taken his car for repairs here for years and years. Like a fool, I decided I'd make up…read moremy own mind about a mechanic. After many headaches with other mechanics AND another suggestion from Dad to take my car to Risinger's this time, I did. I was well taken care of. Unlike other mechanics who charged me close to $1,000 for the same work, Mark Risinger has my car running like a dream at about 1/4th of that cost. To be specific, I needed my rotors replaced --- I heard it was going to cost a fortune to have done. However, Mr. Risinger must know where to get his parts at a reasonable price. His labor cost is more than fair. His shop is located off the S 6th St extension close to the food pantry and overpass so it's a little ways out of town. I need my car right away because it's the only vehicle I have. I found out this week that by letting him know that, he could schedule the repair at a time that he could get it back to me same day. I don't pay attention to stuff like when my inspection is due, whether or not my registration sticker is on my plate or if my insurance card is the right one or not. So, as a disorganized individual, I was so grateful that he let me know about the inspection, took care of it AND the sticker on my plate. Truly now I am road worthy and have no intention of taking my car to anyone else in the future.

He truly cares about his customers, and wants to save them money where he can. I am an IUP student, and I called Risinger Auto Repairs to see if I could get power steering fluid since I needed a specific kind for my Acura TL that Walmart didn't sell. I had gotten my power steering pump replaced a few months earlier, and it was now leaking from the hose. When I got there he gave me the fluid and told me that if it continued to leak that I could bring it back and he would check it out for me. He gave me enough fluid to drive back to my apartment, and said I could pay him for it later. My car continued to leak fluid, so I set up a time to bring my car in. He was very kind, and said that if I didn't think the car would make it to the shop that he could come and bring me more fluid. The problem did end up being with the hose, and he fixed it for a very reasonable price. When my car was finished, he drove it to me since I wasn't able to get a ride to the shop that day. He even mounted my license plate since I had been too lazy to do so, and it was sitting in my back window. I would definitely recommend coming here for any repairs you may need!

    My friends Jeeps been in their shop for 3.5 months now. At first the parts were being ordered…read moreseparately then the parts were hard to get ahold which I understand. But then it got to the point where parts were not showing up on days we were told they would received the 1st of March then the 14th of March. Then it was the wrong parts. Then the part was in Indiana in a warehouse but not at the shop then it sat in the shop for a few days ( after waiting for a part for 3months that vehicle should then became top priority) yesterday the part was in and supposed to be fixed, then all the sudden a few hours later they found something else wrong with the jeep. Why didn't they strip the jeep upon arrival and figure out what all need to replaced and make one order. When I call to get answers it's just a revolving door of cluelessness on their behalf. We get told they will look into it and call us back. We only received one call back. Insurance tells us to talk the the shop and the shop tells us to talk to insurance They're are taking so long that we're now paying for a rental out of pocket and the manager says there's nothing they can do about. I will not recommend them as a shop to anyone and I will certainly not do any type of business with them here on out.
