This is my go to place for trucks and vehicle rentals. Usually an excellent experience and good prices, nice trucks etc. Ran into a problem with them this time around. (misunderstandings happen) All though it was slightly stressful dealing with the younger staff, in the end management they made it right. Good customer service is best shown when a problem arises. Craziness. I hit a deer with my car and my insurance company set me up with this crew. They could not provide a vehicle for two days. I get that it can happen. They finally get us a car and we are happy. Two days later, the car is in my driveway and alarm bells/lights are going off. I call them and they tell me it is probably a mouse that chewed the wires and they ask me to take a look under the hood. (Super professional to have your clients scoping out the hardware for defects). Not only do they refuse to bring us a new vehicle because we were apparently 10km outside their service area, they remind us that if they find out it was a mouse that chewed the wires, it will have to go through our insurance. Imagine a scenario where anyone would make, not only an assertion like that, but a presumption that they were so staunch about that they needed to try to blame us. The car stopped functioning properly and instead of being responsible or empathetic they decided to construct a theory as to how we may be responsible. Disgusting. I will walk blindfolded in a snowstorm before I will ever ever ever rent from these jokers again. You have exactly zero value for your dollar. read more

This location is SCAM and have horrible customer service. Had me waiting for them cause they're so disorganized. The blonde lady at counter was very rude and argumentive. Mocking me as if I were a liar. I have always paid deposit with major credit card and cost of rental with debit at other locations a dozen times, but yet this location does not and insinuates I am a liar, even when I have invoices to prove this they are still adamant to prove the customer wrong. Went to their competitor and had absolutely no issue. By the look at these reviews you would think Enterprise would look into this location....but no...they could care less. Never using there services again and family members won't be neither they said when at airport. Congratulations Enterprise rent-a- car. Your the shittiest company in the fleet. read more

Enterprise is probably the most affordable rental car location and in downtown Kingston, it is the most accessible. So it's obvious that on summer weekends, the place is fully booked. So - book ahead, absolutely! I had two back to back weekend bookings with Enterprise, and my experiences were a bit polarizing. However, what was most impressive is that when the first rental weekend didn't start off as planned (no cars on the lot when I had a confirmed car booking!), they did work fast to find a rental with AVIS, which they paid back the cost difference to me within a week. So, a bit inconvenient, but well managed. What did impress me most is that the first experience was not forgotten when I returned the next weekend with another confirmed booking. This time, there wasn't a mix up with the cars like the previous weekend (honestly, I don't know if what happened was a one-off or a regular thing here), but there was a vehicle put aside for me specifically, ready to go. Well done! The most annoying part of renting cars is the paperwork process, and these guys do acknowledge that. They had me in the second car within 10 minutes of being served at the counter; not bad. I'll keep renting with Enterprise, and if things keep going so well, I'm sure next time the rating I give will be 4-stars instead of just 3-stars. read more

I am not happy with this place, at all! It seems that it's pretty common there that you book a car online (week ahead) and get your confirmation, but when you go to pick up your car, They DON'T have ANY, because it happened with me too. The branch rental manager there (let's call her Melissa) is not flexible at all and it's the first time in my 7 years of experience that the rental car price has changed after renewing the contract. I truly recommend you to go to the other location in Kingston (2244 Princess St Kingston, ON K7M 3G3), because they are more professional. I have rented cars from Enterprise for 7 years now, and I haven't had that bad service ever before. read more

Kingston location is a scam. They want your money they don't care about you. Horrible service. They talked my girlfriend into buying insurance when she had insurance on her old car that was being fixed. They stole from her and she found out from her insurance company that this insurance was not necessary in the least. She then complained and asked for her money back. She spoke to the manager Will and he said he would give it back, by mailing a check.... a month later and she is still trying to get it. He told her 100% it will be in today and he would call her. When she called back for the 100th time the employee told her the cheque wasn't coming in today. I would not recommend this service. She has also used Discount and they went out of their way to help her out and not lie and steal from her. read more

I have used this location twice in the past year, and both times they went out of their way to accommodate me. I'm very short, so I'm unable to drive most cars. The first time, the staff managed to track down a Mazda5 (the same model as my own car), and held it for me. The second time, the staff member patiently let me try every single car in the lot before picking the one that felt best. read more

Office was dirty. Garbage all over the floor behind the counter. Gave away my full size rental due to being 40 mins late for the reservation time. Tall skinny dude that works there was a straight up ass about it. Tried to be apologetic after but way too late. Gave me a Kia Rio after I told them I had to fit 6 suitcases and 4 people. Said they could get me something for my day of travel. Asked for a minivan or SUV since I can't ensure in advance all my luggage will fit in a full size, But unfortunately you can't rent anything larger for one way travel. Place is a joke. I gave one star because Yelp wouldn't let me give zero! I have rented from this branch of Enterprise a couple of times in the past few month. They are very slow and short on staff. But, that is not the main issue! They are either too greedy or they are suffering from poor management, they let you make a reservation online but when you get there they are out of cars so you have to wait until somebody bring a car back, and then you have to fight with other people who are there waiting for a car! Once they even called me two days ahead to confirm my reservation and guess what when I got there they literally did not have any cars except a few trucks! One other time, in winter, they called me in the morning, an hour before the reservation, saying that they are out of cars and they will call me as soon as a car is ready for me to pick up, I called back a few times until that afternoon without any luck! I decided to go there and wait until they give me one, I finally got one after waiting there for an hour! I have never tried other rental companies in Kingston (e.g. discount), but my suggestion to you is to avoid these guys as much as possible! read more
