They finally get us a car and we are happy. Two days later, the car is in my driveway and alarm bells/lights are going off. I call them and they tell me it is probably a mouse that chewed the wires and they ask me to take a look under the hood. (Super professional to have your clients scoping out the hardware for defects). Not only do they refuse to bring us a new vehicle because we were apparently 10km outside their service area, they remind us that if they find out it was a mouse that chewed the wires, it will have to go through our insurance. Imagine a scenario where anyone would make, not only an assertion like that, but a presumption that they were so staunch about that they needed to try to blame us. The car stopped functioning properly and instead of being responsible or empathetic they decided to construct a theory as to how we may be responsible. Disgusting. I will walk blindfolded in a snowstorm before I will ever ever ever rent from these jokers again. You have exactly zero value for your dollar.

I live in downtown area, a friend of my drove me back, I was home before 6:45pm. The next morning I got a receipt in email saying that I checked the car in at 8:06pm (!!!); so, instead of charging an extra hour they charged me the whole day! I called them, they said there is NO WAY of confirming this matter and that 8:06 was just a time they put in the receipt. They denied of having cameras or any monitoring system! I contacted the customer service complaining about this, they called the branch, this time they said that there is a monitoring system which shows that the car was not returned until after 8:06! I have no idea where they got that "8:06pm"! But, either they do not have a monitoring system or they are too lazy to check the check-in time again! My suggestion is to either try to avoid these guys or if you have to use their service don't use their after hours key dropbox!

Then they give me this whole story about how they put dye in the lines and can see its leaking massively from multiple areas and would be at least $1600 to fix. I asked what the diagnostic charge was for if they never diagnosed it, just filled it up? They just talked in circles and claimed they didnt have to dye at the time and couldn't have known it was leaking blah blah blah. Total BS. The first thing they would do is check the pressure of the hoses before filling with freon and that would show immediately that it was leaking and not going to hold the freon. They filled it anyway so they could charge me more money since I already told them I would not be spending big bucks to fix this car.
