TODAY when I was to pick up the rental, I received a call telling me there were no cars available. I really had a terrible experience at Enterprise. After being in an accident i went there to rent a car. They specifically told me that my insurance would cover the total cost of the rental , even on a Jeep. So I took it. When it was time to return they told me there was a 2000.00 balance. When i disputed their own facts they lowered it to 800.00. They are nothing short of liars and crooks. As always buyer beware but especially with them!! read more

Ryan and Kim were both professional and ready to help. It was very quick and when the one car that they assigned to me wasn't going to work for me because of some physical disabilities . This location, put frankly - sucks. The people working here are (generally) friendly enough, but as a car rental service they're all but useless. Last winter during the horrible ~4 degree weather we had, my at-the-time daily driver was an old diesel behemoth. Old diesels and cold weather do not mix well, and I was going to be left without a vehicle for the greater part of a week. That night around 11PM I went on Enterprise's site, selected this location for next morning pickup, and it said they had just about everything available to choose from. Happy with the knowledge that I'd actually be able to get to work, I got a ride here to pick up whatever econo-box they had for me. Nope! When I arrived, I was told they didn't have any cars available. None, nada, zip. Oh, but if I wanted a gas guzzling van, they had one of those for only $20-30 a day more than the car I had selected. I pointed out the fact that their website said they had plenty available, and was simply told, "Oh yeah, you can't go by that - it doesn't update". Cue the Seinfeld music in my brain, along with the skit of "It's real easy to TAKE a reservation, anybody can do that - but keeping it.." I ended up getting a rental down the street from Avis, who had plenty available and for cheaper. Seriously, it was a Wednesday in the dead of winter - not tourist season. There's no excuses to not have at least one reasonably sized vehicle here, especially when your own website says they're available. read more

Great service, got me in and out quickly, super friendly. After a less than stellar experience with Budget, I called Enterprise and had a reservation secured over the phone in minutes. Once I got to the location, the staff got me in a car and on the road in about 5 minutes. Note: You can only reach the location from one side of the highway, and it comes up quickly, so be aware. Never rent from enterprise they are trying to rip me off saying that the pre-existing paint damage on the car I returned is my responsibility ... I have had to secure an attorney to resolve the situation ... If you are not going to heed my advice at least do yourself a favor and take before and after photos with your phone... Especially if you are dropping it off during closed hours!! read more

We had such a great customer service experience with our recent rental at the Manasquan Enterprise location. We needed a last minute minivan rental for a spontaneous family road trip last weekend. I could not find one minivan anywhere between Newark and Atlantic City. I spent hours on the web and making phone calls and, minivans are evidently very hard to come by on the weekends at the Jersey Shore. This location was the very last call I made, after just about giving up. The gentleman that answered the phone (I believe his name was Mike) told me he didn't have anything and was pretty sure I was out of luck but, he promised to try and work something out. Within 20 minutes he called me back and had a beautiful, spotless Town and Country for me at a very decent rate! This saved the day and our plans were able to move forward! I arrived a day early for my rental (since I booked the incorrect date), he took it in stride and gave me a better car than I asked for at the same price. After I dropped off my rental car I needed a ride to the service center. Bill was kind enough to give me a ride and it was a pleasant, relaxed trip with comfortable conversation. I rent from Manasquan location regularly and get great service. the team is easy to do business with and are always accommodating.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. They have a good selection of vehicles to choose from. The cars are surprising clean. Its surprising because I know people trash cars, smoking, and bringing pets in them even though they aren't allowed too. Animal hair is hard and tedious to remove from a car interior. I have used this enterprise for a year now and will continue to do so. read more

I rent from the Manasquan location virtually every weekend and have been doing so for well over two years. The team, especially the one right now, has always been excellent. Mike the manager is a great guy and never fails to go out of his way, if necessary, to accommodate me. Brian, Matt, Kaley, Bill and Randy are all very professional and personable. I have been a steady customer for over 2 years now at this location. Very disappointed in my last rental car. Car had over 80K miles, large whole in carpet under the gas pedal from wear and the shocks needed to be replaced. I did not feel safe driving the care! Not sure if I would rent there again. Manager asked me if I wanted to upgrade my car because they had a lot of cars on the lot. So why give me such a horrible car to such a loyal customer. read more

No problems, as this was essentially a loaner car while my vehicle was undergoing some major maintenance. I haven't yet been hit with a bill and normally I get a copy of the rental agreement at the time of rental. This time there was some kind of issue, but I was promised that I'd have it e-mailed to me.
