We could also park our car in the dirt lot but they were not responsible for any damage. Not a good neighborhood to leave a car in. They hung the phone up on me before we could resolve the problem. They said there was excessive sand in the car and there was not. The car was taken to the beach only once and my wife and her friends were very careful about tracking sand in the car. The only other driving was to the airport and to the Space-X complex, with a little bit of exploring the area mixed in. We filed a complaint on Budget's Twitter page and they came back agreeing with the local budget office. They are a rip off and are out to get you for any extra dollar they can get. The car had flaws when the women picked it up, such as dirty cupholders and glass broken on a dash gauge. One of the women was in the back seat and commented when they picked the car up that it was dirty back there. I do not recommend this place to rent a car. They are crooks. It's bad enough the on-site management billed us for $287, but it's even worse that Budget's corporate office is supporting them in this lie.
