My house project was a 6ft privacy fence so our puppy could run free in the back yard. I had about 40 holes to dig and I knew a regular set of post hole diggers would not cut it. I knew I needed to rent a commercial auger. The rental was simple. I called them on the phone and reserved the two person auger for a one day rental. The next day I stopped in and with a copy of my drivers license, credit card, and a signature, they loaded the machine in the bed of my truck for me, all for $70 Now here's the reason I gave them a 5 star. Sometimes I can be a forgetful person. Sadly this was one of those time. After I finished digging the holes I put the auger in my shed and there is where it sat for an extra day. I was so mad at myself for wasting $70 more than what I was supposed to pay. So after my now two day rental I drove it back to Sunbelt with my head hanging, disappointed in myself. While the sales man and I carried the auger back inside I was telling him my unfortunate story. When it came time to settle up on my bill I was floored when he told me he was not going to charge me for the second day. That turned my crappy day around and I was ecstatic!! No I can't promise this will happen with everyone but the gesture has turned me into a future customer of Sunbelts. Not only do the have your small project tools but if you're really needing to make be some dirt, you can rent a backhoe, trackhoe, or a bobcat! They have some real heavy equipment to rent. If you need a tool for those household projects, then Sunbelt will take care of you!

A couple of days ago, thinking I had a dead battery, I took my car to Autozone on Hurstbourne Lane…read moreat Stoneybrook. I had just bought the battery, and the warranty was still good. The gentleman from Autozone tested the battery and said it was good, but the problem was the alternator. At that moment, Desmond Yeary of Yeary Automotive, who was helping one of his customers in the parking lot with his 12-year-old son, overheard our conversation. He handed me his card and said he could come by my house at 3:00 and install the part for me. I went back into the store, and the guys at the desk said he was a regular customer and even recommended him. Normally, I am skeptical, but his young son, who was part of the operation, sold me. Desmond and his son showed up on time and fixed my problem. The price was very reasonable, and I enjoyed seeing the relationship between him and his son. Clearly, the son was learning the trade with his dad--very cool. The next day, my car wouldn't start, and I had to jump it to get back on the road. I went back to Autozone, and they tested the battery and alternator again, saying both were good. I called Desmond, and he came over that afternoon. He and his son worked on the car for almost two hours. Desmond pulled out special meters and analytic tools and finally found that the battery had a dead cell, which evaded detection by the Autozone folks. Desmond then pulled out the battery, took it back to Autozone where it was replaced for free under the warranty, reinstalled the battery, and charged me nothing. Let's be clear: the battery was not Desmond's problem, yet he didn't charge me for all that work. There are a lot of busy (and older) folks out there, and a mobile mechanic makes a lot of sense. I am a fan, especially of this guy. As a former police officer and present security consultant, a healthy skepticism is a good thing. There are several things you can do to ensure the mechanic you hire isn't going to rip you off... but I did none of these things because I think I am a good judge of character. You can trust Desmond Yeary, and I recommend him highly.

That was tested today when we found ourselves in a tight spot. He proved all the positive ravings to be true. He came to the job promptly and worked efficiently doing everything he promised in an efficient manner saving us money! I declare with no hesitation that he is our new mechanic, and I will not hesitate to call him when I have any automotive issue and we will be spreading the word. I just hope he doesn't get so busy that he has trouble fitting me in :)

The workers here from my few encounters seem to nice enough and they appear to try the best they can. However this location has very little inventory. It appears they only have maybe one 7 passenger vehicle on site and they charge an arm and a leg to rent it out. The vehicle being a mini that has almost 70k miles on it, no updates features and has kmps instead of mph because it is from Canada and has Canadian license plates. They hit you with a $130 a day rental fee for this car. I've used other enterprise locations in the past and they seem to have better inventory and cheaper prices. Maybe it's because it's newer. But I likely won't come back to this particular location until it changes.
