Was a little worried about renting from this location after reading the Yelp reviews but It was really close to where I was staying and I needed a one way rental. The location was pretty easy to find. Right after you cross the Kentucky border heading north Enterprise is is on the right. I was helped pretty quickly by Nicholas the Assistant manager. The car I received was pretty rough but it was only a one day rental. I noticed the tank was only 1/2 full and I did ask to have it filled up before I left and Nicholas gladly filled it up for me. The transaction was simple and efficient. Would recommend. I booked the reservation online as well so maybe a "walk up "might not go as smoothly. read more

Pros: they had the the type of vehicle I reserved (a mini van), and it was well staffed Cons: -I spent an hour cleaning the rental because it was grimy and dirty and smelled -we kept finding random ants in the vehicle -one of window shades was broken (which we realized later) -the passenger window made a loud "clunking" noise every time we used it; so we had to stop using the window in fear of it breaking I remember a time when Enterprise was the BEST, you'd get in a rental car and truly appreciate the niceness of driving a different new clean vehicle. The standard has fallen greatly, I imagine this is true across the board but it's disappointing especially when you spend $800+ on a rental for the week. read more

Employees are really nice, however!! I was told FOUR times (twice over the phone and twice in the store) that I would not be charged the young drivers fee if I presented my military ID. When I signed my contract, the person I spoke to showed me that she removed the charge. When I returned the car and later saw the receipt in my email inbox, the charge was there. I called to let them know there was a mistake and their response was "military IDs don't wave the young driver fee." They said they'd see what they could do (no guarantee I'll be reimbursed for that charge). That is absolutely unacceptable considering I confirmed 4 different times before agreeing to rent the car. Either several employees/managers were given the wrong information, or I was lied to. Either way, it's absolutely unacceptable and so unprofessional. I should be reimbursed, no question. read more

The car was great. I used a Jeep compás for one day and it served its purpose. The bill was $55 for the car, $25 for extra Insurance, and $200 for a deposit. 4 days after I returned the car I get my final Bill and partial deposit returned. The Bill was $126! $50 in hidden fees with no explanations. Predatory lending is alive and well at Enterprise! read more

Shout out to the employees who have to put up with extremely rude people every day. I have been in countless times and saw a customer arguing at an employee for the customers own card being declined. Not Enterprises fault. Another customer was yelling at employee because her insurance company messed something up. Again not Enterprises fault. But employees always have a smile and do their best and work hard. I always receive great service even when they are slammed. read more

I rented a car because my car needed to go to the shop. When I dropped off my car, I called Enterprise saying that I needed to be picked up. Their business is on the KY/TN border on the KY side. When I told them that I was on the TN side (2 miles from the state line), they told me that they could not pick me up "due to liability reasons." I ended up calling a cab to take me to Enterprise. When I was there, the attitude they gave me what that I was a bother and a nuisance to be there. I was just happy to get the car and get out of there. Note: The taxi driver informed me that within 6 months there were 2-3 times where not only did they not pick up their clients (because there was no answer) when it was time to pick up their cars, but they were closed in the middle of the day, and the taxi had to take them back home ($10 each way). read more

So after being on the phone for hours and waiting for hours I was told they would not be picking me up. The customer service reps are rude, difficult and change the rules on the fly. After reviewing all the reviews on Google, social media and on here, obviously Enterprise stands by this behavior. Stay away, stay far away. You'll get your car, depending on their moods. I made a reservation 2 weeks ago at this location as I have at least 3 other times before. I used a debit card with my Georgia drivers license. I had no issues the other 3 times. My trip is scheduled to start Saturday but this morning I got a call from this car rental location and the representative tells me I can't have a car without a Tennessee license or I have to use a major credit card. I ask of this is a new policy and I'm told it is not. I told the rep that I rented a car last month with no issues so why is there an issue today? Then spoke with an assistant manger who asks if I can get a Tennessee license by Saturday. I replied that I could not. I told her that we are retired military and having an out of state license here is a normal occurrence. She then told me somebody was doing me a favor which really made me angry. I told her I know how that works and no one was doing me a favor. She then said she was going to keep her job. I will never give that business any business again! I know military members with out of state and use debit cards at that location. Just to let you know, the same franchise in Nashville will rent you a vehicle at a cheaper price! Worst service ever!! I booked my rental a week in advance I needed a specific vehicle what they call a premium just a pick up truck none the less this is what I needed. I was a little late picking up my vehicle at no time was I called to verify if I was coming or not. When I arrived I saw my vehicle driving away , as I walked In I said hello and gave my name the lady who by the way was the branch manager said oh well you're late so that's your vehicle now. Then said you should call your ride back cause we don't have a vehicle now. Then she said I can try to get you a truck but no guarantee since you are late I told her I was not notified and she said we don't have to notify. I told her my spouse could not come back as she was late for work on the military post. (She is a soldier) she said well let me make sure you even have the right stuff to rent here she asked if I was using a debit card or credit card I said credit she said well let me see to to make sure before I call to get you a truck. I'm well aware of the difference but I showed her anyways. I told her I would return to call me when she got a truck as my spouse was late for work now. She got my number said she would contact me, I asked her for the corporate number at which point she raised her voice saying "I'm trying to help you can't you see " I said I just need the corporate number. She called me a few minutes later saying she had a vehicle they were picking it up how soon did I need it I said as soon as possible she said ok it's on It's way. My spouse left her job to take me back to enterprise when we get there the truck is not there we were told it should arrive in 30 minutes. We waited the 30 minutes we asked again they said it will be here soon my spouse is there in uniform telling them she is late for work etc. and they are just making up information. She said please call to verify as I am late. They called and said they just got there they should be here in 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes my spouse asked again they said a few minutes. She let them know she needed to get to work they said they would call. I never received a call that the truck was there 2 hours passed by we returned and the truck was there I asked the branch manager why was I not notified she said cause you left that's not my fault. We told her that we kept telling her that my spouse was late to work she said well that's not my fault. With signs of "we treat you like family " & " we support our military " you would think they would keep up with some of those promises. Never was I asked to be picked up when it did arrive, never was I told the right times. Never was I apologized to by the branch manager. Very unprofessional, very rude and she needs to learn to speak to guest with a better tone. I have never been so dissatisfied with a location In my life. I finally got my rental trust me I would have gone else where but the prices are the only good about this place. I will never visit this location in particular. It's no wonder they have a 2 star rating with the service that's given. And by the way the truck was dirty, mud all on the sides and tires. I gave it a star only cause I had to! read more

I had a reservation transferred from Hopkinsville & it was a big mistake & delayed my trip. I was told a rental would be available, this was at 8:15, I got to Oak Grove Enterprise a bit before 9:30. Not only was one not ready but they couldn't find my reservation & told me they could create one but not at the price quoted they then proceeded to try to charge me over $90 a day for a small car. Staff was unprofessional. I eventually got a car at the correct price after calling the manager at Hopkinsville who had to call Oak Grove & then "magically" my reservation was found. I love to travel and I rent from here all the time when it was on the TN side. Today 6/30 I had to go to the new store on the KY side in Oak Grove. I will be finding a new car service immediately!!! Please keep in mind it's 4th of July weekend and I put my reservation in 4 MONTHS AGO!!!! The lady at the front desk was so rude. I was the 2nd person in line this morning but waited 45 min after they opened and was the 5th person out! How does that happen, I'm not invisible! I was right behind the 1st guy in the building. On top of everything I needed a full size which was reserved 4 months ago and still got a standard! If my experience was better I wouldn't have mind. I am very very disappointed in a place I've been going to for many many years. If they can't pay attention to a reservation or to a person standing in front of them then they probably don't pay any attention to the condition of their cars...think about it. This is the worst car rental ever. My daughter rented a vehicle from Enterprises in Oak grove. Her first time ever. It was the worst experience. They wouldn't come pick her up. She reserved a veh 3 days in advance and was confirmed. When we arrived the woman said that all the vehicle were out. And for us to check back later, well 5 hours later a veh showed up. They didn't wash it just filthy. The people we're really rude. Look your right across the Army base. We make or break companies. My advice for customers. STAY AWAY!!!! Had to wait an extra day for my rental due to no cars available at the late hour. Had a considerable wait for the pickup the next morning as well. The car itself was great once I eventually got it and everyone at the front desk was pleasant. If you need a car in a hurry though, this location is not so reliable as it sells out fast. read more

Horrible service. Booked online months ago drove from Michigan to Kentucky to drop off the kids and pick up the rental car. We get a call about an hour before picking up verifying we had a credit card to which my husband explains its a visa checking card and was told great can't wait to see you. When we show up we are told because we had an out of state license it has to be a major credit card and our visa check card didn't count. When asked why we were allowed to book with the card on hand, confirm with the card on hand, and until now no one told us there would be an issue we got told well I just called you. I advised yes with one hour until pick up, we just drove from Michigan telling us one hour before, which she did not, is not adequate timing. She stood there the whole time with a smug look on her face and never once attempted to apologize, I will never deal with this location again and suggest others do the same until they are under new management or until the manager learns something about customer service, sometimes a genuine apology will go a long way but standing there smug smiling about it all gets you chewed out and a bad review. read more

Dec 24 - 27, I had a reservation scheduled and a pick up scheduled. That morning I called and cancelled the pickup. Upon arrival, I found that both had been cancelled by Eric. Luckily Elvin, the manager was able to locate a specific vehicle for me. It did take about 2-3 hrs to actually get the entire thing handled. Dec 29 - Jan 3, I got a vehicle that was supposed to be "upgraded" but that had stains and smelled extremely like smoke/funk. Jan 8-10, I attempted to schedule a pickup from 9am - 12pm. I called approximately every hour asking different associates if I could get picked up. I was told yes, but closer to your reservation time. As my 12pm reservation came and went, I called again. Thats when I was told someone would be on the way. I didnt get picked up until 1230pm. Spoke with manager on duty, who seemed not to care about what I went through and asked "what do you want?" This vehicle had low key battery, which made the vehicle not run at times. Disappointed w/ experience. read more

Rented a car at Nashville airport. I showed the clerk the damage on the back bumper. He told me that it was too minor to record because it was smaller than a golf ball. Drove car to Oak Grove, upon return the clerk told me that there was damage to the back bumper. Enterprise then put an unauthorized, fraudulent charge on my credit card. Called Enterprise who informed me that previous rentals of that car had documented the damage, and I would not be responsible for damage.I am still trying to get a refund or a charge back. read more
