Once a reservation is excepted with a company (and I pre paid before I got there) if that company doesn't have what you reserved the price increase is theirs, because they accepted the reservation. At that point it should not be on the customer, and it has never been any other time I've rented a car. That is a Bait and Switch and I don't know how they can get away with that. I would recommend never using this company. If you making a reservation and have an agreed upon price it is out of the customers hands whether they have it available. What a horrible way to do business!

If you want to zip in and out, this is definitely the right place to rent a car. The only thing that makes me a little wary is that unlike Enterprise, they don't walk around the car with you to verify the car's cosmetic condition. Their fleet is fine, but some of the cars do have cosmetic flaws on the inside (stains, etc), so that was an area of concern. I've always notified them if I notice anything, and I've never had an issue, so it hasn't been a problem, it's just something to be aware of when you rent. As you can probably gather from that observation, I think their fleet of cars is ok. Not bad, just nothing to write home about... lots of Hyundai Accents and Chevy Impalas. My last rental had no cruise control... a definite bummer on a long trip.

When I first walked through the door I had a attitude because of something which didn't have anything to do with this business. The owner continued to be kind and helpful to me with a smile. Once I finally calmed down and apologized to him for my behavior. He thanked me for apologizing and told me it was nice of me to apologize. The business was clean and my car was extremely clean also. I love this particular location because it's close to my home. Due to my overall experience from beginning to end being exceptional I informed the owner he now has a customer for Life and I definitely rent a great of cars for personal and business purposes. When we arrived they told us they did not have a car for us and that there was nothing they could do. Prior to picking up the rental car we received multiple confirmation & reminder emails telling us to pick our car up. They made no attempt to email us beforehand and let us know that there was a lack of availability on their end. Additionally, once they told us they did not have a car for us they did not offer to give us a refund (until I asked about it) or help in any way other than saying "you can try calling this 1-800 number to get a refund". The next several hours were spent attempting to get a refund from the Avis 1-800 number and locating another rental car at a different location so that we could get on with our travel plans. A terrible way to start a road trip and a baffling customer service experience, unlike any I've had before.
