Even with short notice.(walk in) The vehicles they have seem to be a step up from a lot of other rental companies as well. I have seen some negative reviews posted and thought jeez that does not seem like the folks I have dealt with at Avis in Red Deer. Renting a car was easy, efficient and the two gentlemen assisting me on September 30, 2016 at around 11:30AM were fantastic people with amazing customer service. Not only was I able to rent a car no problem, but they recognized it was my birthday and gave me a discount equivalent to the numbers of my age. That was a bonus. The car was clean, ran great and saved my weekend in red deer. The experience was elevated by the spectacular customer service I got from Avis which I am sad to say was lacking at Budget. Next time I know where to go in the first place for a car rental. 10+ stars!!

They ended up charging me $378 dollars for the extra night saying first that I dropped the vehicle off 3 extra days later (which i did not), and then insisting i caused damaged, which i did not. They agreed to refund me and then still did not, even after calling repeatedly to check on my refund which they still insisted was coming. Its been two months and they are still trying to charge me for damage and late fees. Will not use this service again and recommend against Enterprise. Very unimpressed.

I received a call from the manager, Ali Smyth, early the next morning. She proceeded to give me information about cost for repair and recommended a full inspection of my vehicle. This service totaled over $800, and could potentially be in the thousands after labour/extra parts for issues that have not yet been determined. I explained that I was not interested in a full inspection and only wanted a new belt and the gear shifter inspected. Ali became irate. She raised her voice to me, interrupted me while I was speaking and was overall rude to me on the phone. I asked to speak to another staff member and she refused. She said, "I am the manager, so you will speak to me." I did not request to speak to the manager, and honestly I would have been happy to speak to anyone else other than her. When I requested to speak to someone else a second time, she hung up the phone on me. I called right back and another staff member answered the phone. We discussed the conversation between Ali and I. I explained that I only wanted the belt replaced on my vehicle with no other work to be completed. I came to Napa Auto to pick up my vehicle the same day (Aug 18 /23). The staff member at the counter and I spoke about my conversation with Ali. I said that I would give her the opportunity to apologize if she felt inclined to do so. The staff member went in the back to speak to her about it, but returned saying she was no longer in the building and wouldn't be returning until much later. I have not received an apology or a follow-up call from Ali. In the end, I was charged $295.01 for a new belt. Due to this experience, I will not be returning to Napa Auto in Innisfail.

I was lied to, told they would provide a rental while they had my vehicle in their shop After their shoddy work dimples all the transmission fluid on the streets of red deer. Then they tie into the transmission without my authorization, attempted to minimize their responsibility, refused to pay for the rental they offered, stick me with the car rental bill, 22 days to get a transmission back together. It's not badmouthing or libel or slander if it's truth. Anyone can contact me for the story. I've had estimate of $3500 to undo their mess... Still wanna go there??? Call AMVIC before you agree to any sort of agreement. even if you agree to a zero dollar deal, to get your vehicle out of their shop, any agreement, cancels out your right to action through AMVIC. These guys know how to work the system, and the customer Hope this review saves someone else the grief...
