Couldn't have had a worse encounter. We approached and before we could even finish our sentence asking if they could honor a school teacher discount (which they had already honored a year prior) the older lady employee was already saying literally "no." She just kept saying no to everything with a condescending tone. Then the manager lady stepped in saying oh yeah we can honor that, and then tried charging double the rate we got the year prior. Along with many discouraging remarks about why my credit cards weren't working (it's an airport, im obviously not local and my cards needed a simple travel clearance.) While clearing up my cards on the phone, she sneeringly told me to go try a competitor. So I did! I walked 50 feet over to Hertz and was treated with SO MUCH RESPECT AND KINDNESS. Night and day difference. Same card, same discount, driving away happy 10 minutes later. As I was walking out to the Hertz lot, I overheard these Enterprise ignorami asking their next prospect if they had any "pay stubs" proving their employment! Wouldn't be surprised if they're asking people for income tax history as well. I'll conclude with this: The manager of Enterprise calls me the next day asking if I took one of their cars, because they made a reservation for me but didn't see a car attached to my name. So, not only are they so incompetent that they are turning away customers, they don't even know who's taking cars off their lot. Go to Hertz! read more

Jake was extremely unprofessional and flat out lied to us. Took advantage of a young adult and then blamed it on his girlfriend who wasn't there. Couldn't give us a copy of the agreement. Then turned us over to collections the very same day for more than what he had told us we owed. I will NEVER use Enterprise again. 1 star is too many for this guy. There aren't too many things worse than a liar. Shame on him and shame on the supervisor who allows him continue to lie and run a business in this manner. Made a reservation through USAA after my car got wrecked in a storm. Went to the location I was given and was told it was the wrong location but my car was ready at the other location. Went to the other location to be told I needed to schedule a pickup and couldn't get a car. I had to be home by 6 to check the condition of my vehicle and get my pregnant wife home. After 10 minutes the woman just repeated "there's nothing I can do" Their error has lead to us having nowhere to go for 4 hours, no ride, and a seriously distressed pregnant wife. read more

I have been renting vehicles from this location on many occasions because I need a car that my disabled mother can get into easily . I also need dependable service. I have never been disappointed. Genesis has been the associate that has helped me on several occasions and she has been fantastic! She is knowledgeable, has excellent interpersonal skills, and she is professional. I received a rental based on insurance after a collision accident. The first car I received was leaking oil. I was told to go exchange the car. The exchange was easy. I was given a new car. Two weeks in, and the engine failed leaving me to call roadside assistance for a tow. Next piece, they are going to tow the car to the enterprise which has their parking lot guarded off. read more

Stay Away from this location. Victor the manager who clearly does NOT know how to reach out to a loyal customer other than an email them and then not respond to an email and then show up to a home demanding "repossession" of a vehicle that I did not even have ownership of. Had he been a Manager and reached out to me and answered the phone when the corporate office called regarding my payment and my request to make payment this situation would have never needed to be escalated. Then for this Manager Victor to request that I am blocked from renting vehicles from this company, without hesitation or even reaching out to me a loyal customer is not acceptable. A manager that does not do his job should not be allowed to take a customer's rights away just because he says so. I for one work in Customer Service and the customer at least has a chance to plead their case. This manager Victor came to my home rude, ugly and disrespectful and then he blocked me from ever renting from Enterprise again, after so many years of being a loyal Customer. I for one think that this was handled the wrong way by Enterprise, and I am extremely disappointed in the way this whole situation turned out. I had a slightly longer wait because my car had just been returned and needed to be cleaned, but it wasn't excessive. I cannot get over how anti-Military these folks are. My active duty hubby needed to rent a car to get back to home base because the family was staying in Texas with the family car. He has an extended license, which is normal procedure for military cats and 100% lawful, but the company kept insisting that his license was "expired" (read: legally extended because he is active duty) and refused to rent to him. It is actually written out in their own policy manual that they will accept an "expired home state license" as long as it is provided with their active duty military ID. Which it was. And yes, we did point it out to them as well. No dice. So I tried to rent for him, but all of our credit cards are in my husband's name, and they refused to take my husband's credit card if I was the one renting. Even though I'm pretty sure we're considered a single legal financial entity in TX. They also asked a lot of invasive questions which were none of their business, like why were we in Texas? Could my husband present orders? My head exploded. But I got better. There is no happy ending here, however. To sum it all up; this company left an active duty military member stranded when he was due back at home station in 24 hours, was in complete compliance with the law *and* the company's published terms and conditions, and we had made the reservation a week in advance (which they also messed up, but I could have easily forgiven the mistake if not for the conclusion of this tale of infuriating woe.) Run don't walk from this facility! Better yet, forget there is a company called Enterprise and rent with someone else who doesn't play fast and loose with your time. I reserved a car here for a weekly rental. I am visiting SA and picked this location because my initial search for rates/availability brought me here because of their prices. When you walk in the place, they have 1 person working the counter with 2-3 customers waiting, while the phone is in a constant state of nonstop ringing. No one picks up. When it comes my turn to get served, the snarky desk person hands me back my debit card and out of state license, "we don't rent to out of staters with debit cards..." I asked to speak with a mgr, whose appearance was not visible. After she came out of somewhere in the back, I asked her about the policy and why it isn't made visible when booking. The reply was "each location does things differently and if you went back to the airport, they would rent to you..." (at $200 higher/week). The place is filthy as reported by others and as I described above, unorganized beyond description. I last rented from Enterprise about 10 years ago in Vegas and was so p***ed off after the rental, because they wouldn't "pickup and drop off customers" from their location in Vegas..contrary to their advertising and marketing! Luckily on the trip back to my hotel in SA today, I found a rate of only $50 more for the week than this cheesy Enterprise location. I should have checked rates again this morning before I left my hotel to see rental prices had dropped at the airport after my initial search. Two lessons learned. Services is always exceptional. I rent from them for personal and business use. Pick up service is prompt and friendly. My rental is always ready to go. Service is always friendly. They've expanded their lot, which is helpful when I have to leave my personal vehicle there. Cars always run smooth and are clean. Even when they are really busy, they acknowledge you and apologize for the wait. I won't rent from anywhere else because of all the reasons above. read more

Luckily I have a boyfriend that works at North Park Lexus of San Antonio and he detailed it himself to make that horrible smell go away. I called and asked to get another car because I did not like the smell of cigarettes because I kept getting very bad headaches and migraines but nobody answered or called back for me to get another car please go somewhere else that is not worth two point stars. Wish I could give this place 0 stars! For one the website lets you reserve a car after closing at 6p! No one ever called me to reschedule for a earlier time, but lied and said they did! I took off work early, drove in traffic all the way there arrived at 5:55p RICARDO THE MANAGER was locking the door in my face and said he couldn't help me despite having a reservation. I started asking him why no one called me and why would the site let me book after closing hours he didn't have a clue but kept saying he couldn't help me. I got upset and asked for the manager not knowing it was him because he refused to identify his self, & not even wearing a name tag. Once I got upset he asked for my information, seen I had a DEBIT CARD and refused to help me LYING saying they don't accept DEBIT ONLY CC. I couldn't get a rental or put my car in the shop that day. I never had this problem before. HE'S A LIAR, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I had to file a complaint and tried to reserve a car the next day. When I called to make sure there was cars available because it was a bad hail storm the night before, he answers the phone refusing to identify him self again, talking over me and still insist that I need to have a CC they don't accept debit EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS SO ON THE WEBSITE AND MY RESERVATION EMAIL!! I don't know what his problem is but if he's lying to customers for no reason what other shady business is he doing!!?? I rented a Kia Rio on Sunday 10/03/2021, it wasn't my choice as I was traveling on the companies dime, so I settled for it. The car was still wet from a wash I'm guessing, with water spots on the windows and side view mirrors affecting my vision. As I was driving from DFW airport I noticed the car was difficult to to steer and I had to fight it to stay in its lane, I thought it was from the high winds that day. The next evening I had to get on the road to head to San Antonio, TX and let me tell you, I had to fight with the steering all the way here. Once here I contacted road side assistance and was told to go the to the nearest enterprise and exchange it. When I arrived was told that I wasn't in the system and the airports and local agencies are on different systems so they suggested that I go to the airport and I did only to get told that they didn't have a care car to put me in either. contacted road side assistance again and was told a manager will call me and as of yet on Wednesday 10/06/2021 I still haven't heard from enterprise..DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY. read more

this review has many points....We decided to rent a car to escape to the coast for the weekend. I arranged an 11 am pickup so I could be on the road at noon. 11 came and went no word. They finally called around 11:30 to let me know someone would be on the way, After picking me up the car I reserved had issues so they upgraded me. Still being cool, all patience.... then they tell me that car has an expired inspection. FRUSTRATION! I think the manager could tell how anxious I was getting so he upgraded me AGAIN. I've never before had a problem with Enterprise...rented from them in Nebraska and left my ipod and they brought it to me in airport...this time I rented from these guys and dropped car off on my way to work...Left my RAYBANS in car...they claim they are not in there and car is still on lot! This was my first time using Enterprise Rent-A-Car. As I am a USAA member I used the discount that the website gave me and rented a minivan. I arrived at the South West Military location ready to pick up my van. When I arrived there was a little mix up with my card and I had to fix it with my bank. I was there a total of 1 to 1 1/2 hours trying to fix my bank issue. In the mean time the company had all that time to clean up my van but when everything was said and done I got a dirty car that had not been vacuumed the only thing that had been done was a car wash to the out side of the vehicle. Also beware if you are renting from this place, roadside assistance is not included in your rental! If you should need help because of a flat tire or run out of gas they will not come to help you, this is what the attendant explained to me when I declined the service, by the way it was an extra 5 bucks a day. read more

Renters beware. If you make a reservation the same day, they will most likely NOT have a car available to you. I can hear them explaining this to customers before me and I was prepared to just walk away if they said the same thing. When it was my turn, they took my insurance information and charged my card 200 dollars more for possible damage to the vehicle and it's refunded when the car is returned. I asked the agent if I was going to for sure get the car and she said yes. They had me sit and wait. After 10 minutes another agent told us remaining customers that they no longer have any vehicles and would give us a free ride to another location with vehicles. I didn't have enough time for this so I asked to refund my card. They could NOT even do that because it was still in the "process of being ran through" so it would eventually come off my pending charge. They did however, offer to drive me back home. They informed me that I could return car to any Enterprise location. The staff was courteous and helpful at all times. Got USAA discount. Worst experience by far, me and my wife were going to rent a car for One day and the person that was "helping" us had no clue what the hell he was doing! We reserved a car online to pick up for the next day so when we got there everything was going smoothly until we had to pay, we used my wife's card since my new one was coming in and we have a joint account so it shouldn't be a problem but the guy was telling us that he couldn't rent the car to me since I needed the debit card under my name... Are you serious?! So we said put everything under my wife but since she's 24 there are extra charges (remember we only needed it for one day) so long story short the guy was being way to complicated and 40 minutes later of him trying to rank up the price and him not knowing what he's doing our original price of $35 turned into $90! All because he didn't want to authorize my wife's card to be used. So we decided to take our business some where else. Try to avoid this place by all means! read more
