    Horrible customer service. The franchise owner is horrible. He threw me out of "his location" because I was an upset customer.

She just kept saying no to everything with a condescending tone. Then the manager lady stepped in saying oh yeah we can honor that, and then tried charging double the rate we got the year prior. Along with many discouraging remarks about why my credit cards weren't working (it's an airport, im obviously not local and my cards needed a simple travel clearance.) While clearing up my cards on the phone, she sneeringly told me to go try a competitor. So I did! I walked 50 feet over to Hertz and was treated with SO MUCH RESPECT AND KINDNESS. Night and day difference. Same card, same discount, driving away happy 10 minutes later. As I was walking out to the Hertz lot, I overheard these Enterprise ignorami asking their next prospect if they had any "pay stubs" proving their employment! Wouldn't be surprised if they're asking people for income tax history as well. I'll conclude with this: The manager of Enterprise calls me the next day asking if I took one of their cars, because they made a reservation for me but didn't see a car attached to my name. So, not only are they so incompetent that they are turning away customers, they don't even know who's taking cars off their lot. Go to Hertz!

Picked up the vehicle it was dirty inside and out and they said they weren't able to even wash the outside. Looked like someone spilt a milkshake in the back and there were ants all over the inside of the car. Not to mention one of the tires went flat within 30 minutes of getting it. No one answered at the pick up location in Katy so I give the choice to drive the car all the way to Houston airport or Austin... I was headed to San Antonio. Finally got them to allow me pick up a new car in San Antonio. This is after of course waiting to get a spare tire put on and taking it to a maintenance shop so they can patch the tire. Get to San Antonio and they wouldn't take the vehicle. Stating I took it to an unauthorized dealer and they have no record of me getting a new car. Had to spend a bunch of time on the phone with customer service then the airport location finally got everything they needed and apologized and said I o longer owed all the additions they were previously going to charge me. New car was great (so I thought) it was at least clean on the inside and out however the next day again a flat tire. Because it was drivable they have me go to another shop. It took forever for maintenance to approve the transaction then the Hertz maintenance worker asked if I had time to get a complete inspection, oil change and a few other things done on the vehicle since I was there. WTF ... I'm like am I on Hertz payroll now? Am I getting paid for this or at least a discount or a free rental since I'm now spending more than half my vacation getting their vehicles fixed... nope nothing. Worst ever. This is now the third time renting with a hertz and each time has been horrible. And each time has resulted in me having to pick up another vehicle out of my way. Third time is NOT a charm. I've rented so many times with enterprise and have never had this experience. Worst part went to drop it off. Was told that they are closed because the person went home early then a random valet dude was like I'll drive it below with the rest of the hertz vehicles... WTF ... no I need to tell them about this experience. Someone ends up coming back after being on the phone forever. He says he's going to give me a discount but didn't. Charged me exactly the same. I will NEVER deal with Hertz again but especially their Katy, San Antonio airport or San Antonio downtown Marriott location. They are all trash. I'm surprised Marriott lets that trash take space in their building. If you want an unsafe vehicle that's dirty and tires that have no air or get flat quick and a place that has poor customer service make sure to hit up those locations - they specialize in it!

    This is by far the worst customer experience I have ever had. I booked a full-size car online and…read morepaid for the extra vehicle coverage through Expedia. When arrived at the rental agency, I waited in line to pick up the car with a wait time of about 20 minutes. After waiting patiently for service, I was told that they rarely have enough vehicles to make it through a day by the representative. The rep was talking to a lady that was waiting on her vehicle to arrive and discussed how they make sure that frequent customers are prioritized, and everyone is turned away when they run out. There is no sympathy for the consumer. They had a vehicle to offer but advised me that in order to get it I would have to upgrade to a higher cost vehicle. She also told me that the extra fee I paid (100$) for vehicle coverage at Expedia would not be accepted and really didn't help. I spent 35$ in Lyft fees and ended up being turned away. If you attempt to call in and complain, you are on a permanent hold. I'm not sure how they stay in business. Of course, once you pass the check in time for a reservation, you can no longer cancel the extra fees paid for vehicle coverage. Stay clear of this company.
