We booked our one-way rental months ago to make sure we had a truck that would be sufficient to drive down to our cabin to pick up our luggage and take us to the airport. When we arrived, there were no cars available for us. They told us that they tried to call us multiple times during the day. I showed the person our call logs that we didn't receive one call. If we did, we would've answered it because we were available all day long. And we certainly wouldn't have driven 45 minutes there just to turn around and drive 45 minutes back and then have to figure out how to get ourselves to the Raleigh airport tomorrow. We rent one-way rentals from this car dealership multiple times a year and this is very disappointing that they don't even care about us loyal customers. You always have to call to make sure your car is available! Very disappointing very very, very disappointing. read more

We called Enterprise and booked it for pick up on Monday and to return it on Friday. As we were getting ready to go get the car my phone rang and it was a manager from Enterprise in Wilkesboro stating we could not get a vehicle until Wednesday and I advised we had received our confirmation he stated he did not know who we talked to but he would not have anything before Wednesday but advised we could go to one of their other locations and get one. Needless to say I got no help when I called the district manager either. I have no plans to ever use them again. worse place I've ever tried to rent a car from. everytime I set a reservation it was not honored took two days off of work to end up with no car. the lady who works the front desk needs more training on customer service they told me they would have a car for me today but now no cars are avaliable will drive an hour to boone to rent for now on set the reservation and got a car same day. highly recommend taking the extra drive to Boone instead of wasting your time in Wilkesboro. read more

I showed up 15 minutes early for my reservation (at 7:45 a.m. and they open at 8 a.m.) and they said they had no vehicles. I had to wait two hours for a vehicle to arrive and then it smelled funny like a homeless person or somebody with terrible hygiene was in it last. Warren said he called me and he did, but the message they left did not say anything about this issue. Somebody else rented a car about 20 minutes before they opened and I suspect they told him to come early to get a car because they would not have any cars for a few hours. Very unprofessional. This vehicle had a big tracking device attached to the windshield behind the rear view mirror. I have no idea why they put it there and whether or not they were tracking me the whole time. I could have kept the vehicle until 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. with the 1 hour grace period, but I returned it at about 6:30 a.m. It had 7/8 of a tank of gas when I took it and it had almost that much when I returned it, but they charged me $5 for one gallon of gas. I asked them for a better deal because of the inconvenience and they said they would take $15 off the bill. The bill did not mention it, but the base price was $15 cheaper than my reservation price. Made a 12:00 reservation for Saturday on the app so I could drive to CLT Monday to fly out of town. They called and confirmed my 12:00 appointment for Saturday and didn't mention that was the time they closed. I called them Saturday to let them know I was a few minutes late and they were already closed. I would've gone an hour earlier had i known. Hertz just got 100% of my businesses. I'll never use enterprise again. read more

I rented a 15 passenger van from Enterprise on a Monday. The van had 38,000 miles. The check out process was smooth. However, when we filled the van with passengers we started to notice several problems with the van. We had originally rented the van for a week but on Wednesday I decided to turn the van in because of multiple problems with the van. Wilkesboro is a small agency and they had to bring the van in for me to rent it. I realized there would not be another van available so decided to make do without it. The office manager was extremely nice about the situation. I realized it wasn't his fault but rather Enterprise corporate who had sent the worn out van to him to rent to me. The store manager then wrote off the entire rental and charged me $0.00 for the 2+ days I had the van. This was above and beyond what was required of him. I highly recommend this Enterprise store and will be renting from them again when I have need. read more

So this was our first time renting and we wanted something economical; ended up with a 2017 Nissan Versa. Let me tell you this was everything and more (gas saver and at a great price!) Perfect for our trip since we would be doing a lot of driving for 2 weeks and 4 days. The service once we returned the car was great! After many many years of dealing with enterprise The Middletown NY manager was incredibly rude to us while changing a reservation . On top of that he charged a $300 surcharge on a 3 day rental. Will never use again! read more

Both myself and mom has used Enterprise on 421 in N.Wilkesboro about a year ago well last summer but anyways both my mom and I had a very good experience dealing with them we didn't have not one problem. Our paperwork all the way until they handed us the keys to our vehicle went smooth and fast and the vehicle they gave us to drive until ours was fixed was awesome we both fell in love with the extremely nice SUV that we got to chose we wanted to drive. And most importantly we had the best customer service from all their employees there. Mom and I would rate our whole experience with Enterprise in North Wilkesboro a double A+ A+ 100%!! We called the 800 to rent a truck that had a hitch. I was very specific with the person on the phone that the truck HAD TO be outfilled to pull a trailer and I let this person know how much the truck had to be able to pull. We then lined up day workers to be ready to help us with what we needed to load. In short, we went to Wilkesboro Enterprise and they did not have the truck. We were then told they couldn't help us. Then I raised some cane and they referred us to their business side, who then did not want to bring us another truck to a convenient location for us. This was also going to cost us an extra $80. In the end, we shelved working with them and went instead with a competitor--U-haul in Mooresville, which gave us a great deal, no hassles. This whole ordeal cost us four hours of daylight and four hours of workers on the clock without anything to do. read more

Very poor customer service. We were never told we would have the pay for the purchase of a new tire if we did not purchase "Road Side Assistance" from them. We had a flat as my wife was going to work and they told us that if it came from road debris, we would have to pay for it. They couldn't prove that road debris caused it so they reluctantly backed off. Will never rent from any Enterprise ever again. read more
