Pick up was very easy and efficient, the vehicle was ready for the time I reserved it and Brian was incredibly helpful and professional for the entire process. He clearly explained charges and limits to mileage so there was no uncertainty in the future. The one standout moment among many incredible ones was when my insurance company began to put a time restriction on my rental car due to my vehicle being totaled. Nathan was extremely helpful in this situation. He was extraordinarily empathetic to the circumstance and he and I were able to communicate clearly and come up with a wonderful plan for extending the vehicle in the short term to fit my needs. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Joe who aided in this process and carried on the same level of professionalism as Nathan and Brian. Drop off was a cinch, I arrived literally two minutes after they opened and Brian was ready to go to complete drop off just as easily as we completed pick up. I turned the ebrake on and off with no change except that the actual e brake light went on and off. I don't know what the aux brake means I'm not a mechanic! But I didn't feel safe driving it. When the lady Kylie came in she came across as a bit standoffish, I helped with the customer ahead of me as he only spoke Spanish. When it was my turn she was actually nice. I asked if the had AAA discount she said unfortunately no discounts not even military which I thought at least give a military discount. The process was quick, I was given the key with the truck number and where it was parked. I do like that you can drop off the truck in another location. They do charge for the truck, mileage and gas should be returned as you rented it. In return there is a drop off label. The truck gets looked at and gas checked, the process is like at a car rental. The receipt gets sent to your email. The total price of the 15 inch truck was a little over $100 for 6 hrs. I would say they could use Spanish speaking associates at all times as this location has many Hispanic customers. I would also like to note that I called this location the day before to make a reservation change and was on hold for a total of 30 minutes and when on hold the calls go to different location like mines went to Maine and then got transferred back to Broad St...

This U-Haul is a bit of a mess. The only saving grace was Brian, the lovely sole employee manning…read morethe place. The security alarm was going off due to something that happened at the storage side. Brian had to listen to that thing for eight hours, I had to listen to it for 45 minutes and it drove me crazy. It would have been great if they had more than one employee working on a weekend morning for pickup. It takes a good bit of time to check folks in, I was expecting pickup to take about 15 minutes and it ended up taking closer to an hour. Brian was trying his best, but things only move so quickly with a slow computer system and having to walk some people out to the lot. The van I received was pretty beat up. There was already so much damage on the outside that it was hard to mark anything as being in good shape. Brian made the rules for renting clear and the contract was easy to follow. Overall this location is in a convenient spot, but just plan to wait and bring your patience along for pickup.
