I visited this salon in 8/27/17. I had the pleasure of being styled by Michelle. Being a walk in I was very apprehensive but she was nice and welcoming. The salon is beautiful. It really has a luxurious feel. The best part for me was getting my hair washed. Michelle definitely has the hands lol. I fell asleep during the washing process. Overall my styled ended up nice and I would probably return. If you're ever in need of hair services and in the mall check them out. They are located right outside of Sears. read more

ENVE Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Douglasville, Georgia

I will NEVER go back. So on the website, Instagram and FB, they advertise a 'Monday- Wednesday' special which is $35 for a relaxer. I SPECIFICALLY called the Douglasville location and spoke to "Shakira". Shakira informed me "oh she hasn't updated the website nor the FB page. We stopped doing that around the holidays." Huh? What? I then told her "since it is on the website, will you honor it? Yes or no? It was posted on Wednesday. Today is Monday. There is no expiration date." She flat out told me "I mean, I don't honor it, but some new stylists may honor it, you would have to talk to them." Say wha???? I was FLOORED!!!! Since when does a company say "we will not honor the advertisement that the owner posted on THREE different media outlets???" She further explained that stylists use the promotion to build their client base but then said "my client base is pretty set so I don't need to." This woman absolutely said she would not honor it, pretended to take my name and number and said "I will have someone call you back." Honeychild, it is 6:11pm and I still don't have a phone call. I called the other two locations (Lithia Springs and Hiram) SEVEN times to try and see if they would honor it. The website said all three are open 7 days a week. I never got a hold of anyone until around 2:00 for the Hiram location, the woman in Hiram said she would honor it. (Lithia Springs never answered but apparently they are open???) But then she informed me while she was doing my hair that there is an extra fee for a style. Mind you, I got a relaxer, so you're telling me that it is extra to have it flat ironed???? Just a simple flat ironed style. Bottom line- between the shady false promotion that these stylists won't honor, the extra fee for my hair to be flat ironed after a style-- the end result is a "oh hell no". There are tooooooo many salons in Atlanta for me to deal with this mess. I will not go back, I will recommend, I simply will take my money, my time, and my reviews elsewhere. I recently moved to Georgia and was in desperate need of a great hairstylist to treat my damaged hair, not only have I found a place I absolutely love the staff all the ladies here are great, Kirsty, Teela, Anna, Tracy, Michelle, Areial, Jessica! I had the pleasure of meeting, aerial the receptionist who was very charismatic and professional over the phone and in person. Michelle is a hoot and will keep you laughing for days she does an amazing job on short cuts and other styles! Anna is the petite Caucasian young lady( she is not the receptionist she can style some hair) who can not only slay some hair but braid from here to Timbuktu blind folded with her eyes closed LOL! She braided my hair down for my sew in and they laid perfectly flat plus they were nice and neat. TEELA my sew in hair artist slayed and cut my bob into perfection!!! I had the worst experience at this place. The owner didn't have enough hair in inventory and the hair is cheap. After sleeping on the hair in a bonnet my hair is frizzy. A lot of money flushed down the toilet. Don't waste your time or money going there unless you get your own hair done!!! They are awesome at hooking up natural hair. read more

HORRIBLE! If there was a way to give this place a negative star rating I would! This place completely ruined my hair! As a hair care professional, a licensed beautician, you should NEVER do anything to someones hair that you KNOW they shouldn't get or don't need based on their hair texture and type. I am not a hair professional. It is not my JOB to know what every type of service is or is not best for me. Instead of taking my money, knowing a service is WRONG for my hair type and texture, I should have been told or advised that what I was asking for was not right for me. I wanted my hair pressed for my birthday, something that I do all the time on my own, but because it was my Birthday I wanted to be pampered and not spend 3 hours blow drying and straightening my hair myself. My hair is naturally very curly with a lot of body, long, past the middle of my back. I went into the Lithia Springs location a week before to make an appointment and asked for the Silk Press service - thinking it was the same thing as a regular press. Because I wasn't 100% familiar with the term "Silk Press", I asked specifically what exactly a silk press was, because based on descriptions and pictures, it looked to be what I wanted; a press. I was told it was just that, a service that just straightened my hair. I asked SPECIFICALLY if it would permanently straighten my hair and was told emphatically no, that it was just what they called it, but that it was a regular press. A week later I walked in for my appointment with Ty, with my natural hair out, fully curled. I got my hair washed, sat under the dryer, blown and straight with a flat iron. My hair was bone straight. Looked great for my special occasion; my birthday. 5 days later I washed my hair, ready for it to go back to it's natural curly state - something I do all the time, and my hair always goes back to it's natural curly state. Sike! My hair was still bone straight! After I washed it WHICH HAS NEVER EVER HAPPENED! Not only is my hair struggling to hold any curl of any kind, the service has completely changed the texture of my hair. My hair is flat, no body, fine and silky. Over the next 2 weeks I washed my hair 5 times, thinking it would wash out, whatever Ty did to it. NOPE! I went back to the salon with a before and after picture of my hair, to show the drastic difference and to get any type of explanation as to what the hell happened. Ty acted like this was normal, said "oh yeah that's happened to me before, just wash it with a clarifying shampoo it'll go back to normal". WHAT!? First of all...What?? Second, why in the world wouldn't you warn me this may happen, especially after I asked would my hair be permanently straight?! Had I known, I would have never done this! As a Black Woman, the health and care for my hair is very important to me, hair that I have loved and cared for 34 years! It has been a month and my hair is still not right. I have been in tears over this the past month. I have consulted other hair care professionals that have all said, independent of each other (because they are located in other states) that it looks as though Keratin treatment was snuck into the wash when they washed my hair just based on the texture and what my strands look like. This would be the equivalent of malpractice in the medical field. They have been putting together treatments for me to help try to get my hair back to normal, but they have all said, short of cutting it all off (which I'm not going to do) I will most likely have to wait for whatever Ty did to my hair, to grow out, which will take YEARS! I will never EVER go back to this place and will tell everyone I know what they did to me and to never step foot in any of these salon locations! I am in communication with the Better Business Bureau and will be reviewing this salon everywhere possible to warn others. Enve Salon should be ashamed! read more

Worse first experience ever. A 5pm appt. for a quick weave turned into a 3 1/2 hour appointment which is unacceptable. Advised I'm not a weave wearer but would like a bob which I wear. The stylist states since your hair is wavy you can do a chinese bob which I was like will it look cute on my face. As a stylist you should be creatve enoigh to know what fits a client features. But she did it and it was ugly. I missed a dinner reservation due to the long long long service. Never will go back. Ruined my night. read more

I've tried twice in March took book an appointment for the daughter's prom in April. The first time I was told I would be a walk in on that day and just to call back to let them know I'm coming in. Excuse me? I'm trying to book an actual time slot, you know an appointment? She takes down my info on a sheet of paper and I leave already planning to go back and to speak with someone else who can help. Fast forward two weeks. I explain that I trying to book a time slot, since this is prom I can't take the chance of not being seen because I'm a walk in. The young lady seems to understand my point and begins to take down my info, then a stylist working near her hears the conversation and proceeds to try and explain that yep you need to be a walk in. Maybe it's me, but I've been dealing with hair salons for 30 years and I've never had these issues when simply trying to request an appointment. So now I give them a one star for poor customer service. I can't review the actual hair styling SINCE I DON'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!!! read more
