DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We used them in 2018 to inspect our septic in a new home inspection and relied on that inspection for the purchase of our new home. Their inspector told us both compartments (liquid and solid) were recently pumped and gave us a diagram of where the solid compartment lid would be, which showed it was just outside of our landscaping bed. The report suggested we get it pumped depending on family size every 3-5 years. Seeing as we had our 1st child in 2020 we attempted to have it pumped in Summer of 2022 (4 years later). After numerous attempts of locating the lid and digging up our front yard it was discovered the solid side lid WAS underneath our landscaping. Which is not what their report indicated. Had we known at the time we could've gotten concessions in our home closing knowing we'd have to rip out landscaping and 20 year old boxwood hedges. In Summer of 2022 we contacted Enviro-Assist and the owner Randall seemed willing and open to review our financial loss hiring contractors and replacing the landscaping which amounted to about $2300-$2500. After numeous attempts he stopped replying to us and even once emailed me saying he has "more emergent things to do" and ours wasn't exactly at the top of his list. We spent countless hours dealing with this and fixing it ourselves and eventually took him to small claims court. Unfortunately the case was dismissed because at that point we were 17 days outside of the 6 year statute of limitations which is our fault. Unfortunately we trusted the owner that he would make good and communicate better and after months of trying I finally gave up. Almost like he "intentionally" did this because he knew the statute was approaching. The judge even cited to him he most likely would have lost the case aside from the statute that saved him. If you don't want to be screwed over financially and deal with someone that doesn't take personally or company accountability then DO NOT use this company. read more

Randy and his team are Super Inspectors, a dream team. If you are buying or selling a house, I highly recommend hiring Randy for inspections. He inspected two houses so far for me. The first well and septic system were deemed in quality working order by Randy (but the home inspector found a river of water flowing through the crawlspace). The second house however was determined by Randy and his team to have the main clay pipes in the septic field to be 90% clogged with dirt. And the water report for the well resulted in coliform bacteria, e coli bacteria and arsenic contamination. Randy and his team saved my family from a lot of emotional and financial stress. Just had aseptic system inspected. Did a thorough job making sure there were no malfunction or cracks and that the system worked properly. Received my report the next day which included a maintenance manuel and a aerial view of the house and markings to show to the location of the tank and field. The company also offers a warranty of pre existing septic systems which I'm interested in. I would recommend them and use their services again. read more

Their septic inspection report was all assumptions. They do not obviously know the difference between sewage and standing water from a drain leak. A leak that was fixed the day before by a plumber and have paperwork to approve it was fixed prior to their inspection. So yes the area is probably going to still be wet and smell when water has been sitting in a area that is not all that well ventilated (AKA CRAWL SPACE). The plumber himself had his hands in the area and told my husband this is NOT SEWAGE... pretty sure a plumber who has been in business way longer then this company would work in sewage without the proper PPE. Because of their assumptions from the leak in the crawl space they note in their report our septic is failing. However, they tested our water which, by the way came back clean not contaminated. Although, in their report they claimed we have sewage backing up into our house. The well is located under the house a swallow well house was built in 1954 prior owners everything passed no issues. We been here for 6 years and no issues.If their was hazardous material under our house "as we all know sewage puts off deadly gases " we would be sick or dead by now!!! Funny how we just had a home inspection done in September and it passed. The inspector even went into the crawl space where Enviro-Assist inspectors claimed we had sewage back up. An yet two months later it is still dry and smell free but don't you know according to Enviro-Assist we have overflow (sewage back up) pretty sure the problem would be present. Your talking about a county with no requirements or specifications when the house was built in the 50,s no complaints or citing from the county that our drain field is dumping into a ditch as this company claims in their report "Oh I mean down spout". Monroe County has dug our drain ditch out a number of times in recent years hmm. that drain ditch Enviro-Assist is referring to is dry and has been dry . This company is a rip off with inexperience employees with a lot of false assumptions. read more
