Took my 12-yr old in for a cut from medium length to short length. Brought pics for reference and she agreed she could do it. The hair dresser botched it. It was So short that it can't be fixed and it was crooked. A senior stylist stepped in and pointed out she had used the wrong tools, and did the entire cut improperly. Angles were crooked, and she had bangs which were way too short (the pics had no bangs). Then they had the audacity to tell me that my daughters' hair was "too straight" why it couldn't be like the pics we brought in (they didn't have curly hair). It's so short and crooked, the only fix is to buzz cut it all off. Picture day is in 2-weeks. They did an absolutely horrible job and I still had to pay for it. MY HAIR IS RUINED!!!! I went to enviro trends a few months ago, was not happy at all with the outcome of my hair. The last time I went I had it died blond. They put some toner in it so it wouldn't be yellow. This time they didn't. People are asking me "What did you do to your hair?" I reply to them, "It was Enviro Trend down in Sudbury." My hair is yellow like a banana and very dead. I have to leave it like this for a while because if it looks like if I have to put more die in it I will be bald the next day. I went to Enviro Trends in Sudbury this past weekend to get a cut because I had heard from a friend that they are one of the best places in town. I'm going to have a talk with my friend because not only is my cut below mediocre, but the girl insisted I get curls in my hair (it was my birthday weekend) and when I went to pay she had charged me an extra $15 dollars for the curls (How shady is that! She doesn't even tell me it was an extra charge, not about the money, but all about the principle). She insisted I get curls and didn't even bother telling me it was extra?! To make things worse, my hair looked like it does every morning when I just wake up, but this time it cost me $72 (I still tipped since I work in customer service, but I regret it now). My stylist name was Shelly. Never going there again nor am I recommending this place to anyone. What a complete rip off for such below average work. I would NEVER recommend this hair salon to anyone! I went in for a hair colour change. Over the phone they told me it would be max 3 hours. It was actually 5+ hours in the salon! Way too long for a hair colour!! I told them I wanted the colour to appear dark, since bright coloured hair is not my style. The lady ended up bleaching my hair so much it appeared white! She told me since the dye was dark it would appear dark on my already white hair. It didn't! Not only did my hair turn out super bright, it was multiple hair colours too !! It still isn't a consistent hair colour! Now I have to pay more money for dye to get it all one colour because this just looks ridiculous. To add on to that, whenever she wasn't putting MORE bleach or dye on my head she was out talking to the counter people, super unprofessional! She also left me to go on her break (at least half on hour alone in the salon). I was considering walking away because they didn't do anything I asked for. read more
