I went for a haircut on March 9/19. I waited about one hour. I live on the Manitoulin Island shock is about 3 hours away. I get home the next day. I have a shower, when blow drying my hair I notice that my left side was not done the same as my right side. I figured when I get back to Sudbury( which was Mach 22/19 that I would just get them to fix it. I was told that it was more than 1 week, that I would have to pay for another haircut. I don't think this is right as I live 3 hours away and it's not like I can drive in the very next day.i think that It should have been fix this day. I walked into the salon at 4:50pm on a Saturday afternoon. I checked the time that the salon closed and asked if they had time to cut my hair, they closed at 6pm. I only had to wait, maybe 10 minutes, with two people ahead of me. When Terie called my name, I asked if I could also get a shampoo and conditioner. She assured me that she certainly had time. She was very professional throughout the whole experience. I actually asked Terie for her card so that in the future I could inquire about her schedule and be able to come in when I know she is working. I think it is better to be comfortable with one hair stylist because she gets to know my hair and my likes and dislikes and from this experience and how I was treated, I feel confident that Terie will continue to give me the treatment on an on-going basis. I went in, described to Terie what I wanted. Asked for her opinion and she gave it. Asked questions about perms and colouring and she was extremely helpful with those questions. Terie was very personable yet professional as she worked. I wasn't sure when I first walked in how much hair I wanted cut off but Terie was very helpful with rulers to measure and visually showed me what 2 inches, 4 inches and 6 inches looked like and that helped me to make up my mind. I haven't been to a hair stylist for quite a long time and for my first time back, it was wonderful experience. Terie talked to me about the texture of my hair and suggested a product that she had put into my hair to help and so with that, purchased the product as I liked how it made my hair look and feel. I walked out of the salon feeling great! My hair looked amazing and it certainly made a difference in how I felt about myself! Bravo, Terie!! read more
