A storm came through and caused some wind damage to our roof. It caused a leak that went through…read moreour ceiling in our bathroom. We discovered this on a Sunday afternoon. Josh came out right away to secure a tarp on our roof to prevent further damage. Once our insurance adjuster came out and determined that they would provide us very minimal coverage for the damage, Josh took it to the next level for us. It was a tedious and drawn out process but in the end we were awarded the funds to cover our new roof and our expenses for the damage to our bathroom. Josh was very on the ball and attentive to getting things taken care of for us. He came out and met with us to determine which product we wanted to use for our new roof as well as a tentative start date for the job (obviously weather permitting). When he noticed that an upcoming weekend had some promising weather, he reached out to us to confirm if this would work with our schedule. He arranged for the materials and dumpster to be delivered. On the day of install, his crew showed up and were all very professional. Came at 8am on Saturday morning and were done by noon on Sunday. Excellent site clean up from all of them. The only evidence that they had been there was our new roof and the dumpster full of materials in our driveway. Josh immediately had the dumpster removed from our property as well. Very attentive and accessible during the entire process from start to finish. 5 star rating for this company and Josh from our first encounter until the job was complete.

I can think of 3 that were fine. But to be charged for every blind in the house is super scummy. Along side all that we were charged 100 for cleaning. But thats a basic slumlord move right? I tried calling 4 times on 4 different days, left messages, no call back. Magically, the option to book a showing appeared on their website after the weekend. I booked it. Still no call back. Two days later, the day of the showing, an hour prior to the showing, Lindsey texted me to let me know she had an emergency and asked to reschedule the showing to the following day, same time. Okay, life happens. No offer for a later same day showing was extended. Lindsey texted me the next day, 2 hours prior to the showing, to let me know my showing was canceled because the apartment had been rented out the night prior. The whole series of events is odd and disappointing to say the least. The only explanation that makes sense is nepotism. I digress, I will not rent or do business with any property managed by Venture. I'll tell friends and family to do the same after this experience.

It took a long time for their payment, as RestoPros appear to be in the business to submit extremely high invoices, so they can 'negotiate'. I never got in writings the scope of the project. I can to get information from my claim Adjuster. I was threatened by the owner l, and I had to request he never come in my home again. Currently, I am assessing my property that was returned to my home and thre is some damage. I don't know if RestoPros is bonded to cover any cost to some damage furniture.​​ Oh, the threat to place a lien on your home is a tactic the owner has used on several clients.
