EVMC has a 94-bed shelter that provides comprehensive programs and strategies for each resident. For many men facing challenges because of past substance abuse, criminal involvement, life changing events or simply a long life on the streets, it means a long road back and that journey starts here. EVMC does pre-screened of potential residents before enrollment. They are asked to be candid about the problems that resulted in their homelessness. Once at the facility, EVMC staff ensure that each resident comply with established rules. During their stay, all residents must work full-time and save 85% of their income. Some area churches has given bicycles, reflectors, helmet to help residents travel to these jobs. A New Leaf and EVMC believes that the key to success for the residents in re-entering society is providing life skills training, work assistance, counseling, socialization skills, food, basic needs and shelter. There are also Case Managers who work individually with residents to set personal goals and address their barriers in becoming productive and contributing members of society. If you, or your organization are interested in serving a meal (lunch or dinner) to a group of men who are getting back on their feet, please call (480) 610-6722. It just felt right. The teachers and staff are amazing! My daughter attended Carebear for three years and it was such a great experience. She really looked forward to going to preschool everyday. So many fun activities and she learned so much while she was there. When she started kindergarten, her teacher made multiple comments about how much she already knew and how "ahead" she was in reading and so many other areas. This was all Carebear- I can't take credit for any of it! This place is truly a preschool, not a daycare and I would highly recommend it to any parent who is looking for a safe, nurturing and fun educational environment for their child.

Owner and management has questionable people skills and education for this type of business. Sounds like other people and former employees had some sort disagreements with management and it did not end up well, i can see why. Good facility with good teachers but terrible ownership and management. Just trust what other people are trying to tell you about the ownership and their values. Do your homework. ****** Below is a copy/paste from other review as example ****** https://www.judysbook.com/members/101311/posts/2012/3/20376925 Be careful, they do have a few great teachers left. However, I have a feeling they won't be there for long. I think money is now the most important thing and the owner will do anything to stretch her dollars. Including canceling/combining classes. Ask about the Queen Creek & Alma School location. Ask about the Queen Creek and Dobson location. Ask if she has any law suits pending.
