For $250 your child and 24 of their friends can swim for 90 minutes. Its mostly available on Saturdays in the late afternoon (4pm) or evening (6pm). You swim for 90 minutes then go to a dry area that you're able to decorate to enjoy some good eats, presents and fun. You can make reservations over the phone months in advance. My son raved about the party! Just be warned parking/drop-off can be a bit tricky.

There are a few cubbies and coat racks available as you enter the second floor, which work perfectly for me to leave a few items. Locker rooms are also available on the first floor with locks for rent form the front desk (or just bring your own). The two gymnasiums are also clean and in good shape. Open gym times are posted at the front desk and online each week. You can also reserve the space rather simply. I've participated in Flag Football practice in the gym the past few weeks, and it was easy to navigate where to go.

The staff is very friendly and they keep their eyes peeled to make sure everyone is safe and isn't doing anything that could potentially hurt themselves. You have to buy their socks that have grips on them for $2.00. Per person it was roughly $20.00 for a 90 minute jump session. They have a slushee bar there. It is great for birthday parties and just a regular day. I have seen people there with their less than 1 year old on the trampoline which seemed a little odd to me to do. Since there was a kids birthday party going on. Lots of kids and chaos. They have high jumps and little trampolines too. Some activities include dodge ball, a mini ninja warrior type thing, a rock climbing wall, basketball, a swing into a foam pit and some other things as well. Everyone was having fun! There are lanes for swimming and a wonderful deep area for independent water aerobics. Perhaps the best part of this pool are the members of the community who use it. They are so friendly and welcoming to all-- a place where friends can be made and easy-going conversation makes the time fly! This community pool is a downtown treasure. Communication is on point. -FREE PARKING. The Iowa City Rec Center is a nightmare to park at most times. And honestly, the NL Rec Center (while it is free) is chaos as well. -SPARKS CAMP. This is hands down the best camp offered in the area. The price is right. It is offered ALL summer. They do field trips, pool visits, library days and tons of fun activities. The staff is always great, too. Be sure to sign up right away! It fills up fast around March. I think my biggest knock is just that the facility itself is pretty dated. This place is more of a tennis/badminton/pickleball court facility for the community with some…read morestrength training options on the side than anything else. The tennis courts take up about half the gym & you have to walk behind an awkward curtain down a narrow path to get to the rest of the gym. There's a rock climbing wall with daily instruction (locked up when no instructor around). There are a few cardio machines & a decent weight rack. They did buy a few maces which I tend to use every time I'm there. They have a wall of Indian clubs & a tall rack of medicine balls, as well as a good spot to do TRX workouts off of a solid tower with multiple spots & heights to do pull-ups. The heavybag is pretty light & it's on a so-so stand that prevents movement around it for practicing technique & footwork. There's a small matted area for wrestling & jiu jitsu drills, but not much in the way of keeping it clean to avoid staff/MRSA/ring worm since people walk across it regularly. They have a lot of equipment behind the front desk that they'll loan out for your ID or keys. Boxing gloves, focus mitts, fencing jackets, skis, bikes, tents, tennis/badminton rackets, pickleball & ping pong paddles. My biggest gripe is that it doesn't seem to cater to the students at MUM, but to the senior citizens of the community or teachers. The locker room is small with 2 showers & is hotter & more humid than Hades in the summer months.

They said it was not working with their system and try it at the concession stand. So I told the guy to redeem it and he got mad because he said I gave it to him and I said no I redeemed it to pay for everything. I should not be yelled at by a kid when explaining how to redeem a voucher that they should be at their establishment.
