The staff is super nice and my nail tech offered to even let me change my nail color when I didn't love how it turned out but I didn't care too much so I let it rock. I don't write reviews because I prefer to let an establishment know if something wasn't right. Had my nails done 2 days ago. By yesterday it was chipping significantly. I called today and when I told the person what was happening she asked what I had had done. When I said a regular manicure she said "then that's why." When I asked for clarification she said " it probably wasn't dry and that's why it chipped." She checked with someone who said I could get it fixed if I could come in now. I wasn't able to and asked if I could get a credit for when I could come back and she said "No we don't do that." So, the price of a manicure and a 25% tip is for nothing. The manicurist was the manager who was nice and I thought did a good job. I won't be going back and unless you're getting gel, dip or acrylic, I recommend the same for you. read more

The salon is very clean, looks modern, and they had a lot of workers available. The people working there are also very friendly. The pedicure left a lot to be desired. I asked for callus remover and she said I didn't have bad calluses, but then when I pointed them out, she just scrubbed them. To spare details - my foot could've been scrubbed more. Also, the whole experience was brief (not rushed) but I was unimpressed with it all, including what was the leg massage aka more like a leg rub. Two days later, and my nail has already chipped. I've visited the shop three times so far based on a recommendation for another client. Na is the tech who does my manicures/pedicures. She is polite, friendly and fast. My nails always look great when I leave. Everyone is the shop are so nice. You are greeted as soon as you walk in. Everything is clean and neat in the shop. I love that they use new tools with each client. You would be surprised at how some shops don't. I also like that they put liners in the foot baths (again some shops don't). The shop in in a convenient location with tons of parking and other businesses you can visit. Definitely recommended. read more

I just relocated back to the Pittsburgh area and needed a new neighborhood salon. It's always a very personal process to find a new salon, but out of convenience and based on the reviews, I decided to try Envy. I had been in prior communication with Rachel, who was extremely accommodating with scheduling, but ultimately decided to do a walk-in for a dip manicure and gel pedicure. I waited for maybe 10 minutes, the technician was very friendly. It's not the best manicure that I've ever had and I'm a little concerned about how my toes are filed. The services are on the more expensive side, I paid $25 more than I did in South Tampa, FL. Overall though, I'm willing to give Envy another try, see if there's another technician that I like, and then consistently book with them. read more

The colors on the card are wrong. They admit it, will not remove the card and will do nothing to address the problem. Very disappointing. I have spent thousands of dollars and have been a customer for almost three years. One time I saw rats inside the salon when it had recently opened. It was very upsetting but I decided not to give a bad review because I was hoping they would address the problem. Now I am done, I politely pointed out the problem, did not ask for any discounts or redo just for the card to be marked to it wouldn't happen to another client but they would not do it. Horrible place. Nails cracked a week after getting them done. I was told I could get a refund but when I arrived and their attitude changed. The owner called me STUPID and I left crying and out -$75. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY. Steer clear - there are far too many other nail places to spend this kind of money at and get your nails done right by people who care. Envy Nail Spa is definitely one of my go-to salons. The salon itself is very clean & the staff wear masks. It's also beautifully decorated! The quality of their work is fantastic. I've had several different technicians and have been most recently seeing Hannah. Each one of them are so talented, especially when it comes to designs. They take their time with shaping and making sure each nail matches with the other hand, that's an extra step a lot of salons don't do. They do such a great job - I get my nails done once a month because they last that long. They probably could go longer but I get tired of the length. As for pricing, I get acrylic fill with gel polish & I think it's $50-$55 without a design. With a design, it's been $65 but I don't get anything tooo crazy. I will say, it's best to make an appointment ahead of time. I've been able to get in same day a couple of times but not all of the time. I am shocked that they only have one 1 star review because they are always sooo busy! Love this spot! read more

Don't go here! Dirty towels, sticky gel nail dryers. When I asked for a fresh towel to start the mani, the tech silent, but annoyed, replaced the used towel full of glitter, nail dust, and old hardened polish. I had to do my own final oil rub on my cuticles after Jason said to just go wash my hands because what I pointed out as still rough and dry cuticles was just, according to him, dust. The cuticles were still dry and rough, so he dropped oil on my fingertips and pushed my hands away like he was done with me. The hand massage was a small drop of moisturizer lightly applied to the top of my hands, and, that's it! Worst part is I told them I was allergic to latex gloves and could they use nitrile or vinyl, and Jason pretended to get gloves from a fresh box. I'm a nurse and I know what latex gloves look like. When I asked twice, are these non-latex, he nodded yes yes! I asked for the box and pointed out the label "latex gloves". He acted annoyed. Had I believed him, I would've had an immediate allergic reaction that includes throat and lips swelling up! So he did my mani without gloves (since they didn't have any non-latex ones) , but I declined the pedi profusely when they insisted they could do the pedi with latex gloves bc it's "only my feet". Oh, and Jason said they did not carry the Opi color I asked for. Didn't bother to ask anyone or look or suggest a similar color. When I asked if there was a similar color, he just said no. My nails look meh. My cuticles look as if I never got a mani. Great location. Poor service, they lie to get away with having to do "extra" work, and disgustingly dirty facility. I can't imagine how long or what it would take to get this salon within health codes. read more

I just left the salon and am writing this in my car. I am beyond dissatisfied. This was at one time a great salon that I have been going to since they opened. It's now clutter and filthy. Gaby did my mani pedi. Not only was she extremely rough nicking and cutting my fingers and toes, she spent a total of 14 minutes on my pedi and maybe 20 on mani. The cost, $75. Not too shabby for someone who does a half assed job. I am left wondering if she even has a license. Oh BTW, none of the licenses are on display. read more

So glad I decided to switch things up and try out this salon. As a frequent strip goer, the location for this nail salon is perfect. I walked in without an appointment and they were packed. However, I only ended up waiting 10 minutes and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I think the best thing about this salon is how well-staffed they are. There are long rows of manicure stations and pedicure stations, each seat with a nail tech. That's why they're able to service so many customers at once. I had Nina who was excellent and thorough. I decided to get a gel pedicure and gel manicure, totaling $100 which is a bit steeper than my usual salon, but I didn't mind too much since Nina did a great job. I also typically wouldn't get a gel pedicure but I made the mistake of coming in closed-toed shoes, so obviously gel is a little more $. Envy is well worth considering if you're near the strip and need your nails done. I'll be back. read more

I've been coming here for over a year and the quality of your service really just depends on the technician. Today was the worst experience I've ever had here. If I caught the technician's name I'd probably post that too. My dip manicure took 20 minutes. No cuticle grooming, terrible nail shaping and didn't even clean up the excess under my nail. My technician just squirted oil across my nails after they were done drying - didn't even rub it in- and said you're finished. This happened as another technician brought her shaper and cuticle oil over to the drying station and carefully cleaned up the other women's nails. It wasn't busy, and there wasn't anyone waiting. I should have spoken up, but it should be expected that they'll clean up any residue - I shouldn't have to ask for that. I'm giving it 3 stars because I've genuinely had amazing manicures and pedicures here many times. However, this one is for sure in my top 3 worst. I'll probably go back, but will make a point to request the technicians that I know do a good job. read more

$65 is too much for a pedicure that did not dry properly and two of my nails are very messed up. I did wait over 10 minutes for the toenails to dry but immediately after the lady finished painting them she put my flip flops on and so the polish wasn't dry. Usually the flip flops should be on while painting the toenails but this lady was new to doing nails. Do not recommend. read more

BE CAREFUL :( Hate to leave a bad review. I usually deal with a bad experience by just not leaving a review at all. But this time I was really disappointed. Worse than a bad cut while I got a pedicure was what the employee tried to do to stop the bleeding. It was unhygienic, dangerous, and can't be up to code. 2 substances were put in the wound (didn't tell me what they were or show me a label. The bleeding didn't stop. She tried to get me to leave my foot in water. To wash it away? I have no idea. But the water was what she washed my dirty feet in when I came in. I knew that I'd be at even higher risk of infection if I allowed her to continue. We stopped the service and I told her how to proceed without putting my foot in more danger. She was a kind woman who apologized profusely. Management did absolutely nothing. Didn't say anything, didn't help her through the situation, and I paid full price for what I'm going to attach as a photo. On top of that, when I checked out, my phone number was in their system as a random stranger's name, and I had to ask for my credit card back because they forgot to give it me. I came here because I can walk to this salon from my apartment but I'll be happy to drive to a better place next time. read more
