When Stacy finished my trim (shampoo+ trim, NO blowout, NO product-- the appointment lasted 20 minutes total) and brought me to the front desk, the receptionist told me it will be $65 and asked what tip I wanted to add. I respectfully pushed back a bit, pointing out to her that I did not get a blowout/product and that their website states that women's cuts start at $43. The receptionist told me that there was a price change at the beginning of the year and it all depends on who your stylist is.... Im just bummed because the price change was not reflected on the website, and I did not have a choice on who my stylist was. I suppose this is a more exclusive salon, but I do hope that they fix their website to reflect their actual pricing. $78 gone. Lesson Learned. They called and left me a voicemail the Thursday before cancelling because they were not going to be in the shop. I called back on Friday morning and got no answer but left a message for them to call me to reschedule. Did not hear from them so I called Monday afternoon. The woman that answered told me they had been doing a wedding on Saturday which was why they had to cancel my appointment. She was unable to find a time to fit me in. They could not do an evening appointment that week and once again were unable to schedule anything for a Saturday since they were doing another wedding. I am going elsewhere. Cancelling on a regular client to take on other business does not seem wise. Definitely not the kind of service I was used to when this was Splash and Ashley was there.

Also, I love seeing the lovely floral arrangement displayed when you enter the hotel. Today, not getting my usual spa services, but I'm here for a girls' day to celebrate a special lady with the Sweet Feet pedicures and lunch at the Oasis. Since it was a lovely day, the girls and I dined outside and spent most of the day on the grounds, since the spa tends to be busy on weekends, especially Saturday. Our pedicures were relaxing, but be reminded that if you have gel polish on, there is a $17 upcharge to remove it; otherwise, it was a wonderful, pleasant experience. Even the massage chair was a bonus. My only disappointment was that everyone at my girls' spa party who got pedicures received the free emery board the clinicians used during our pedicures; I was the only person who didn't. Finally, I must end on a positive note. My treated guests had their first time experiencing the Spa at the Hotel Hershey; they enjoyed their time at the spa relaxing and lunch at the Oasis.

Next time we go, we will explore some other service to complete our spa day while keeping with the massage and facial. The shower in my room also dripped the entire time and made it very difficult to relax. Despite the technician acknowledging this, no apology or compensation was attempted.
