I'm in town for business and got delivery from this place today, upon recommendation from a friend whose parents have a condo in the area. He said it's one of his top five pizzas. The pizzas are rather large, the options were delivery were 14 inches or 16 inches, so I ended up getting a few other things instead: -Pappardelle with pesto: 4.5/5 stars, delicious -Garlic bread with cheese: 3.5/5 stars, the real garlic was nice but the bread was a bit cold/room temp. Hazard of doing delivery, for sure, but my hotel was only 15 minutes away from the restaurant. -Garlic knots: 4/5, delish. Kind of odd that it was the same price as the garlic bread because the garlic bread was huge, definitely like two meals' worth, and for the knots you only get like six of them. I also received a HUGE vat of sauce, presumably for the breads, and it was delicious - kinda sweet, I'm not sure if it's the restaurant's pasta sauce, or pizza sauce, or both. I did not receive ANY silverware or napkins, which was kind of a problem - I can improvise on napkins (I did some Kleenex) but not on silverware. I looked back on DoorDash afterwards to see if that was an option, to request silverware, but I didn't see it, so next time I will have to specify, I guess. Overall, I would definitely order from here again since everything was delicious, but I might actually go to the restaurant next time versus relying on delivery. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice and the service was great. They offered bread service with olive oil that had crushed tomato in it which was a pleasant surprise! We got the pane al forno mozzarella as an appetizer and it was a little underwhelming to be truthful. It reminded us of a bagel bite but with less flavor somehow. I think if they added a little more garlic/seasoning to this appetizer it'd be a hit! The portions were large which is great. However, I got the porcini sacchetti truffle cream and was honestly disappointed. There was almost no truffle flavor, the sauce barely creamy, and the prosciutto in it seemed almost rubbery. My friend got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it tasted slightly of seafood. Overall we were slightly disappointed with the dinner but still had a great time with the staff. read more

Enzo's is a great, classic italian spot in the Bonita Springs area. The outside is very unassuming; but once you step inside, you experience an elegant restaurant. When entering, you walk into their bar area which a large feature bar and some banquet seats. Just around the corner is the larger dining room area. We had a 6pm reservation but showed up a bit early; they were still able to seat us right away. I highly recommend a reservation as they were booked out till 8:30pm for a Saturday evening! For drinks we got a house Pinot Grigio, Enzo's 75, and WTF Old Fashioned. Enzo's markets having the largest bourbon collection in the area so I was hoping my Old Fashioned would be memorable! The drinks were sadly just okay. The Old Fashioned was overly smokey and the bourbon spirit base wasn't as smooth as I would have expected. My husband's Enzo's 75 was also just okay in flavor. The wine was good but marked up pretty significantly. While the drinks were okay, food and service were phenomenal! Our server, Chloe, took amazing care of us and was so sweet. We felt she gave us great attention without continuously interjecting. You start off with a bread basket with a yummy olive oil side. For entrees, I got the Porcini Ravioli Truffle Cream dish. I'm still thinking about this truffle cream sauce the day after! It was a light yet flavorful dish that I would highly recommend. My husband got the Ossobucco Agnolotti and my aunt got the Lasagna Bolognese. Both loved their dishes in how fresh and flavorful they were. This is a great Italian spot in the area that was memorable in every way but cocktails could use a bit of work. Tip: They host a daily happy hour from 3-5pm! read more

Tonight was disappointing. Great server, excellent booth, seated on time. Ends there Fish soup cold, they offered to remove it from the bill but didn't, so we waited for that to be corrected at the end. Bolognese sauce was just red sauce, no meat. Two orders were incorrect and had to be remade The guest who ordered the pizza got hers 7 minutes before the rest of the meals. Just sat there getting cold. We told her to go ahead, but she had no plate. Cesar salad is half the size it used to be and comes in a small bowl, and looks more like a side salad at a diner. Limoncello Spritz were lemon drops, two completely different drinks. Second round of drinks came after our dinner was over :-( Lobster ravioli was good, everything else was meh. Enzo's is the place to be in Bonita! Great Happy Hour energy with a regular crowd, so it's tough to get a seat as a bar-sitter. "Green Bay Johnny" dishes out worthy drinks and top-level service, as does Chad, and the other bar team. I sampled a few tasty Manhattans over my stay. Enzo's takes pride in a extensive bourbon selection Over the course of several visits, I dined on the Happy Hour meatballs, Stuffed Mushroom appetizer, Caesar salad, and a pizza "Jersey style" (thin crust), all fantastic. Having recently moved to the area, this has quickly become one of our go-tos for date night. Food is good and consistent. Staff is very friendly and hard-working. Their smoky old-fashioned's are top-notch, as is their whiskey selection! Lemoncello drop - also delicious! Get here early if you're planning on sitting at the bar. We had high expectations for Enzo's Italian Restaurant, but the experience was a miss from start to finish--especially given the prices. The wine pour was surprisingly small, and the beet salad was honestly inedible. By the time the entrées arrived, I had already commented on the earlier issues and my husband actually asked me to stop--which tells you everything about how the meal was going. The veal piccata was served as a few very small medallions and was, without exaggeration, one of the smallest portions I've ever been given at a restaurant charging these kinds of prices. It felt more like a tasting portion than a proper entrée. The only bright spot was the service. Our waiter was excellent--attentive, professional, and clearly doing his best in a situation where the food simply didn't deliver. At this price point, you expect quality, consistency, and value. I visited Enzo's last night with a group, and overall the experience was disappointing. Our server was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and a highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, the experience started off poorly with the hostess. We arrived at 5:15, just a few minutes late due to a serious accident on Bonita Beach Road, and felt that two hours would be plenty of time. However, she repeatedly told us we were late and insisted multiple times that we had to be finished by 7:15. Even after we assured her that wouldn't be an issue, she continued to be rude and dismissive, making us feel very uncomfortable. Another nearby table mentioned they had a similar experience. We are a group of women who dine out every Friday across Estero, Bonita, Naples, and Fort Myers, and we've never been greeted this way before. The food was mixed--some enjoyed their meals, including the gluten-free cauliflower pizza, but others fell short. The stuffed mushrooms, in particular, were a 1 out of 10 and not recommended. Overall, great service at the table, but poor front-of-house experience and inconsistent food made this a letdown. read more

Great place for carryout when you have small children very hungry but exhausted from time spent at beach and pool. Online ordering lacks ability to customize the different dishes...for example on the stromboli you could only remove some items, should have list of what is init and other choices that could be added. Surprised they did not have included grated parmesan to sprinkle over pasta. I recommend adding to your order. Tossed salad kind of small for price, we added some romaine we had in fridge. Kids spaghetti huge portion, and they l9ved it. Large stromboli was amazing, lots of melted delicious cheese with other toppings. The crab pasta with tomatoes and cream sauce and Pappardelle pasta could have easily fed 3 people. The sauce was lacking taste, it needed more salt and when we reheated the next day and added leftover marinera sauce from spaghetti it was much better. Everyone enjoyed the pizza, I would say similar to new york style thinner crust. Garlic knots six for $8 were ok. Wow. Our experience was really nice. Our server was excellent. We liked that after we had our beverages she asked us about the appetizers which we ordered. Once those were served she came back to see what we wanted for our main course. That made this experience extremely relaxing. We've lived here for 6 years and have never been Went there this week for Sizzle dining. We were so impressed we're going to have a group of 20 come in September. Fabulous experience. We went to Enzos and the dinner group did Chops. They all wished they'd gone to Enzos with us. Flourless cake and tiramisu were excellent. The wagu and Ribeye were wonderful. First time here and I am extremely disappointed that I have to write a less than satisfactory review. First our waitress was great and her service was excellent. We were a party of seven and ordered typical Italian food. Portions were average but the chicken Marcella consisted of two meager pieces of chicken with risotto. Certainly not worthy of a 33 dollar price. Our waitress related our disappointment to the owner and he reduced our bill by the dish. First Italian restaurant I have ever been to that shrunk their portions. South Florida is inundated with customers during winter holidays and restaurants can get away with pretty much anything. My 2 year old loved the pasta and despite us being year-round residents, who live just around the corner, we will not be back. The blonde woman at the hostess stand was so unbelievably unwelcoming. The food was good we were a group of 10. We came for happy hour, they have a good selection. Our server Meadow was great. We had the flatbread pizza and rice balls. Both were good. My friends had pasta with a tomato based sauce. All of their dishes had too much sauce, two people could only eat some of the dish. I usually ask for light sauce for that reason. I didn't have a main dish so I could only review what they said. The staff are very friendly and I'm sure would have replaced the dishes. We will come back at a later date and edit my review. Veal with artichokes and capers was barely ok, 2 quarters of artichoke hearts in the entire dish and probably an entire jar of capers. This a large busy place. The noise level allows for conversation, barely. Seating is comfortable. The service was excellent. The oil offered with the very good bread was odd to my taste - a spicy mix - high quality straight extra virgin olive oil would have been preferred. The lobster ravioli was delicious although the sauce masked the lobster. The mussels were excellent and a generous serving. Drinks are reasonably priced. The menu is extensive. Five stars this time due to the stellar service by Andre. I definitely feel the service was way better in the dining room. Food was delicious. Pizza, salad, mozzarella sticks, homemade crème brûlée, really fabulous. Yes, the acoustics aren't the best, it's kind of loud, but with the exceptional service and really outstanding food, it's a non issue for me. We have gone to Enzos for years, and always had good quality food. We just ate here a few days ago, and the food wasn't as good, and we are so disappointed! The pasta in Papardella Bolognese was very bland and thin textured. Not that full flavored rich taste. It really lacked flavor. The Bolognese sauce was also extremely bland, lacking thicker, meaty texture and flavor. I would not order it again. read more

Nice husband and wife owners. Nice clientele. Restaurant area has soaring wood ceilings. And expose beams. Very cool. Nice new bar. Open and beautifully appointed. Service was excellent. Meadow, or server was perfect. And nice and knowledgeable. The drinks were great. Excellent wine list with great options at every price point. The food was amazing. We started with the "Mew Jersey" style pizza for the table. Thin, crispy crust. Perfect balance of chews and sauce. Excellent cheese. Winner! Then we had veal salrimbucca, osso buca, chicken piccata, pasta satchels with porcini mushrooms in a cream sauce and an amazing spaghetti dish. So happy to have tried this gem. I thought I was done adding more Italian restaurants to my list but no. I don't remember the prompt but I googled them and was prepared to think same old stuff and not New York. The menu made me go to dinner tonight. Big dining room. Table linens. Greeted at the door by the lovely Nicolette. Professional and welcoming. Water and bread and delicious olive oil mixture delivered immediately. Almost as fast was our server, Paloma. You can tell she likes this place. And she knew her job. Explained the specials first. We told her we were impressed by the menu. She actually mentioned some favs in each category. Now that is a pro. Caesar salad was delish and anchovies were available. Bob had amazing beet and ricotta salad in a honey beet vinaigrette over arugula. I ordered cannelloni Fiorentina. I haven't even seen this on a menu in Florida. Homemade pasta filled with ricotta and chicken and spinach. Topped with besciamella sauce and tomato sauce. It took me to my special place. Bob had Frutta de mer a diablo. No skimping on the fish. A great assortment of fresh juicy fish. Also homemade pasta. Brought leftovers home plus a tiramisu. Can't wait for round two. I have to try a lot more. Cocktails and wine list is very detailed and creative. Plenty of choices on the menu. No wonder this place was busy on a Thursday. read more

I ordered the sausage & meatballs parmigiana plated over stewed tomato sauce with spaghetti. What a great choice - this dish was very tasty and such a generous portion, I took 1/2 home for tomorrow's lunch. I would have given Enzo's a 5 star rating, but the restaurant was very loud making it difficult to carry on a conversation. That said, the food was so good we will return. read more

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for years and finally had a chance to! The service was great, the atmosphere was delightful, and the food was much better than I could have expected. And i had no idea that they had a full bar, but great to know! (Apparently they have an excellent Happy Hour!) The baked clams were excellent, reminded me of my mothers. The pasta dish we ordered was the Sachetti that came in a truffle cream sauce with mushrooms and prosciutto. The sauce was awesome - my ONLY complaint (which is hardly a complaint bc the dish was delicious) is that the pasta shape brought out was Ravioli, not Sacchetti. Perhaps they ran out... but truly the only thing that could've made that dish better would be the pasta I thought it was going to be! The other entree we ordered was their Chilean Seabass special with Risotto. I was nervous ordering that at a restaurant not explicitly known for seafood, but I can't resist Chilean Seabass. It was EXCELLENT. both the fish and the risotto were awesome, we licked the plate! For dessert we tried their cheesecake and it was lovely. When my wife and I come into a new area one of the things I like to do is eat at a local-mom & pop Italian restaurant. (Pizza) Enzo's Is definitely that. Our waitress told us the owner is Italian and makes the pizzas. We did not have reservations, (they are recommended) but we walked in they were extremely busy but we were somehow quickly seated. The only thing negative I would have to say is it's extremely loud inside. It was so loud that my wife and I sitting beside each other could hardly hear each other!! BUT the delicious food makes up for that. You can tell it's a local favorite dining spot. Our waitress was great & friendly. The restaurant is very nice inside. My wife got manicotti and I got the pizza. The pizzas are big!! The food was delicious,, very good Italian food. Great spot!! read more
