We were a group of five, and our total bill was about $210, including drinks, tax, and tip, which we thought was a great value for the quality of the food and service. We shared the meatballs and bruschetta as appetizers, then ordered one pizza and two pasta dishes, along with a pitcher of sangria, two beers, a Coke, and a bottle of San Pellegrino. Everything was delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and beautifully prepared. The highlight of our visit was the service. I don't remember our server's name, but he spoke both English and Spanish, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and gave us excellent recommendations that made choosing from the menu much easier. We love the beautiful outdoor garden al fresco dining. The attentive wait staff and the delicious food along with the leisurely pace of Campiello's service make it my favorite Old Naples restaurant. Today, we tried two handhelds and split them. First, was an attractive plate of lightly breaded hot and tender Calamari with a lemon parsley aioli. A top 10 presentation of this popular dish. The pan fried snapper sandwich was fresh and crisp with a vegetable giarderian topping. It's the little things that Campiellos does so well. Each sandwich came with marinated pickles and carrots along with hot feather-light potato chips with garlic and wonderful crispy parsley. The chips alone are worth the trip. Our second sandwich was the lobster salad which is described as spicy fra diavolo, but was more a lemon and chive taste. Delicious tender lobster and those sautéed chips with parsley are off the hook. We usually have the pasta for lunch and it is excellent. I had a wonderful birthday lunch at Campiello! The only bummer was that we couldn't get a table on the outdoor patio but it was Easter Sunday so not too surprising. We still had a wonderful time and even though we were seated inside, the glass ceiling still gives you plenty of natural light and feels open. The service was exceptional! Our waiter and her helper went above and beyond to make me feel special on my birthday and paid a ton of attention to our nine year old daughter and truly made her feel valued and special too by offering great suggestions for a mocktail and menu options. I would give that service 6 stars if I could! The drinks and the food were top notch. We had the Columba and Negroni and both were perfect. We shared bruschetta and burrata appetizers- fresh and flavorful. We ordered seared ahi tuna salad, margarita pizza and snapper as our main dishes and everyone was very impressed with their dishes. We also ordered the calamari appetizer and it was very rubbery- we could not eat it. The fennel sausage pizza appetizer was full of jalapeños which was not in the description. Don't go to this restaurant! My wife made a reservation for 9:30 PM through OpenTable, and we arrived at 9:40 PM after driving from Miami with our two young daughters. According to the OpenTable app, reservations have a 15-minute grace period, so we expected no issues. Instead, the manager and the head chef told us that because we weren't there exactly at 9:30 PM, our reservation had been canceled. My wife explained that we had driven a long distance and asked if they could help us since we had two little girls with us and nowhere else to eat. The response from the head chef was shocking: "Those are not my kids." I've never experienced such a lack of empathy or customer service. It wasn't just about losing the reservation--it was the rude, dismissive, and unprofessional way we were treated. There are plenty of restaurants that value their customers and know how to treat families with respect. I cannot recommend this place, and I certainly won't be returning. read more

My mom and I went to Campiello last night. We were first had the option of eating in the restaurant or the lounge area. We both picked the lounge area. It was good and more lively than the front part of the restaurant. We got the kale salad and the Snapper. The kale salad was so good. It had kale, pine nuts, olives and hot peppers and cheese on top. It was so good! We both really liked it. The snapper was fried and so good. It melted in my mouth. First time trying it and we both really liked it. The risotto was so good too. Ambiance was so beautiful here. The place is huge and was packed last night. There was a really nice outdoor/indoor bar that looked like a fun place to be. We sat at a spacious booth so had plenty of room to spread out for five people. Had a few glasses of a super Tuscan wine that was delicious. For appetizers we shared the bruschetta and ahi tuna. Our server Jackie is the best! She gave us great suggestions and was super friendly! For my dinner I was undecided and she told me I could order small portions of two different pastas so I could try both. I got the short rib ravioli and the gnocchi. Both were off the charts amazing! We visited this restaurant while on a weekend in Naples. We were seated promptly at an outdoor table. The area was nicely lit with lots of holiday lights. We were quickly greeted by our waiter. He took our drink orders. He then came back and explained the menu and specials. He made some recommendations. I ordered a special which was linguine with a sausage and mushroom brown sauce. It was ok. It needed a little more flavor. My friends ordered a dish similar to mine and it was delicious! It had just the right amount of flavor and spice. Another friend ordered the veal appetizer. It was large enough for her to have as a meal, and was tasty. W had the aroncini rice balls. They were delicious! Since we were celebrating 2 birthdays that night, they brought out 2 complimentary desserts. The waiter was super funny and attentive which made the night much more enjoyable. Came here for Mother's Day dinner and started with the meatballs, the four cheese pizza, the ceasar salad and a round of drinks. Definitely recommend trying the Alamafi Coast Martini. Has anyone had trouble with the general manager responding? We have been trying to book the Club Room in December. Despite daily emails and a few phone calls, no response. The phone is rarely answered. every option on their voice mail takes you to a mail box that is full. My friends and I who live full time on Marco Island decided to venture into Naples during the off season, hoping that we'd have more luck getting into some of the shops, bars and restaurants when it's not packed with snowbirds. We really lucked out and were able to get into Campiello, which has been on my "to try" list for ages. And even better, they have a special Early Dining menu for those who arrive between 5pm - 6pm where you get two courses for a set $39 price. My friends and I all opted for this special menu, and we all LOVED our meals. We started with some lovely cocktails and wine, and then went on to order our meals in a very relaxed and beautiful setting. Because the skies looked gray, we opted to sit inside rather than in the famous courtyard, but we were right underneath the gorgeous skylight so we still felt like we were dining outside. Our amazing server was so funny, friendly and knowledgeable. He steered me to the Radiatori with sausage which was perfection...just truly WOW. And to start I had the Bruschetta which was so fresh and delicious. My friends especially enjoyed the Kale Salad to start, and the Grilled Chicken Breast Fra Diavolo. For dessert we tried the Chocolate Mousse which was more like a warm lava cake served with gelato. Delicious! We all voted at the end of the meal and decided we need to come back soon! read more

I hate to share this because Campiello's is usually such a gem, location, ambiance and cuisine. Let's start with what they called their Antipasti, bruschetta. It was literally a stack of chopped tomatoes on top of bread that we had to search to find. (I wish I could post a photo) We ordered the Tripletail with the fingerling potatoes. The fish arrived dry with no fingerling potatoes. After mentioning this, an assistant brought over two plates of mashed potatoes. Finally, after we had finished our dinner, what I could (my husband's fish was in a sauce so it wasn't dry) they brought over the fingerling potatoes. Needless to say, we were no longer interested in the potatoes. To save the night and our Christmas Eve dining experience, the manager came over, apologized and offered to take our fish off our check. We said that wasn't necessary but gratefully accepted at his insistence. We tipped our newly trained server on the full bill. read more

My husband and I had a fantastic time at Campiello. We were seated outside right at the front and there were plenty of heaters spread throughout the area to keep everyone warm on a chilly night. We got there about 10 minutes before our reservation time and ended up getting a drink at the bar before we were seated. The bartenders were very quick to greet and serve us and the drinks were fabulous. We tried an assortment of items but my favorite was the bread service, grilled sausage, and tirimisu. Both pasta dishes were also very good too. We also got the chocolate martini listed on the dessert menu but it wasn't my favorite beverage, the espresso martini was much better. We also tried a few wines based on our servers recommendation and the Sauvignon Blanc that was recommended was fantastic. Our server was extremely attentive and we really liked how relaxed he was in terms of us ordering and eating. There was never any rush to put food in and we had plenty of time between courses to not feel rushed while eating. Between courses our waiter also cleaned the table from any food that fell onto the table which is always a very nice touch. read more
