Perfetto ! A very good and creative place. The dishes have a small quantity but just enough to taste the perfect harmony between the ingredients and the chef's work. A real place to be in Torino ! Enjoy. read more

We tried it for both lunch and for an aperitivo dinner while staying in Torino for a week and we enjoyed both meals. We waited just 15 minute and he felt bad that he even gave us each a glass of wine! Now on to the food. This place serves southern style Italian seafood. We started with the mix of fritto misto which was calamari, shrimp, and anchovies. It was so lightly fried but so crunchy and the flavor of the seafood really came through. Delicious! Our server also recommended 2 dishes and I simply cannot remember the name of. One was a tuna type fish that was a whole filet.. Its a bit oilier for my liking but my husband raved about it. My white fish was cooked with bread crumbs and tomatoes. It was light. Loved it! This is a local joint. Our taxi driver knew about it and said it was a local favorite. It's a great restaurant kind of on the homey side with really nice people serving really good food. Thumbs up!

We ordered the spaghetti carbonara and the steak and it was life changing. Each dish was plenty for one, and just when we thought we couldn't eat another bite we ordered the tiramisu. Words cannot describe how good that dessert was. The place is clean, charming and authentic. I want to come back to Italy just to eat here again. Oh! And on top of all the good food, they have an extensive wine list with extremely reasonable prices.

Both types of places generally mean a good value for your money, so I don't get why Yelp categorizes this place as "€€€" when it is more like "€". We had some of all those things (pastas, cheeses, anchovies, savory flan) while we were there and everything was delicious! It is a bit chaotic and busy, but we would go back again if we are ever in Turin.

Thankfully, our friend made us reservations because there was a line 30 meters long of young people waiting to eat here. So, outside is packed, inside is crazy and even across the street the park is being used as part of the al fresco experience. But, why? Is the food so amazing? I didn't think it was anything mind-blowing. They serve basic food. Rustic, authentic, filling. Lots of potato dishes were on our radar. Gnocchi, roasted potatoes, and other classics. And, the prices were really reasonable for such a popular spot. After two weeks of scoping out the Michelin spots in Italia it was good to get back to some basics.
As busy as it can be.

First of all, the restaurant was getting ready to shut down its outdoor lunch trade for the winter and the owner opened just for us: That's what I call service! The food is regional Piedmontese which is very different from what most people think of when they think "Italian." They offer an antipasti buffet which is outstanding!
