I took my boat last year for routine service with a full tank of gas. Got it back with just enough gas to go to the station. I let that pass and didn't say anything. I had my boat picked up recently for yearly maintenance, to stick a piece of trim back on the floor area, and to check my radio that made a popping sound in the speaker (radio worked when we loaded the boat on the trailer). I called after 7 days to check the status of the service and was given a bill higher than expected. Only to find out they put a new radio in my boat (i didn't authorize - but paid for it) and was told they fixed the floor trim. Got the boat back and the trim is exactly like it was when they got it. I asked to pick up my old radio and was told to come by. Got there (2 hour drive) and the radio was nowhere to be found. Very aggravating! Sales is great but service is horrible. I will not be doing business at CGM again.

My shoe fell in the water while struggling to get the boat in the spot. Gavin instantly dove into the water to retrieve my shoe and emerged from the water with grace. After, Gavin urgently sprinted over and pulled our boat into the spot for us. Gavin formally introduced himself and made sure to give each and every one of us a firm handshake. He proceeded to sing my friend happy birthday and was so knowledgeable about the marina. He pumped our gas for us and provided great customer service throughout our time at the marina. He was very helpful and gave us directions to the rope swing. We would not have found it without his help. Would definitely come back to the marina to see Gavin. My complaint now is about Dion, the general manager. We bought a new boat from another company and they agreed to store. I went in and signed contract. THEN Dion gets involved and basically makes up reasons he cannot store the boat- long story short- his reasons were not valid. We confirmed and even had boat evaluated by Godfrey dealer. It appeared that since we did not buy from him he would not store- regardless of definitive proof -even having Godfrey dealer on lake confirm safety of storing boat without special equipment and even after we signed contract. Dion said he spoke to Godfrey dealer, but we also spoke to Godfrey dealer and took the boat for evaluation to confirm safety.I am a person who believes in honesty and integrity, I am afraid Dion believes only in money. Someone is telling less than the truth and I assure you it isn't me.I am sure Singleton marina would not condone his behavior and treatment of a long time loyal customer.

Pink Jeep Tours…read morebegan in 1960 in Sedona, Arizona, when a local developer started showing clients the red rock backcountry in his Jeep--painting it pink after being inspired by a stay at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. The company has since grown into a well-known off-road tour brand operating in destinations like Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, the Smoky Mountains, and now Callaway Gardens. It's known for comfortable, customized Jeeps and friendly, knowledgeable guides who make each trip both scenic and memorable. We had never even heard of this before our visit to Callaway Gardens but saw it offered on their website and decided to give it a try. I am so glad that we did. As I stated above, it is fairly new at Callaway -- so new that even the front desk at the Lodge wasn't familiar with it yet -- but it turned out to be a great experience. They picked us up and dropped us off right at the Lodge front desk, making it very convenient. There were just four of us total (two couples) with two excellent tour guides who were friendly, knowledgeable, and easygoing. We visited the Butterfly Garden, Discovery Center, and Azalea Bowl, with plenty of time to enjoy each stop, and even went off-road to areas not open to the general public. It was a relaxed and memorable way to see the gardens from a new perspective, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Callaway Gardens.
