We came to EPIC Pickleball at Sawgrass for open play and had a good experience overall. When we went, it wasn't very crowded, so we were able to get plenty of playing time in without having to wait around for a court. There was one other group there that we ended up playing with, which was nice and made the open play feel a little more social. I also really like that the courts are indoors. With how unpredictable the weather can be in South Florida, this would be a great place to come on a rainy day when playing outside isn't an option. Overall, it was a nice spot to play, the facility was convenient, and I'd definitely come back for open play again. read more

Nice indoor facility to play pickleball and padel. They have 10 hard surface pickleball courts and at least 4 padel courts. It is a great option during the summer considering the high temperatures and humidity we have in South Florida. The club is running a summer special of $119/month that is in effect until the end of September. For Pickleball, you get unlimited Open Play and the option to reserve a court for private playing. Not a bad deal. The facility is kept nice and clean, and Ari in the front desk is very helpful. read more

Cool to have an indoor pickleball court at Sawgrass mall. It's next door to Rainforest Cafe and has lots of free parking outside with its own entrance straight to the courts. Padel is neat to watch but I don't know anything about it. We went on a Sunday afternoon for Pickleball and it was $40 for an hour. Yes pricey when there are free pickleball courts however you're paying for the luxury of indoors, not scorching sun (or rain) , no people waiting for the court or jumping into your game. Am I going regularly? No. Will I come back when friends and family are in town for a designated air conditioned court? Yes. read more

On a rainy day, I attempted to call this place early in the morning during operating hours for almost an hour to see if I could reserve a court. Not only did they never pick up. They actually sent the phone to voicemail. Ideally to avoid such a hassle I wish they would implement a way to do online booking as many of their competitors do. My wife and me started supporting this business before it was opened and operational, and were awarder with "funding members" status. This January all funding memberships were cancelled. We feel betraid by the owner for the mere $10/month difference. I see a pattern of the owner making one bad decision after another since the very opening. read more

Great for indoor playing if you have your own group. Not alot of options if you don't. Of course there is open play, but they aren't really separated by level, The place has huge potential. They need to get rid of the ants, fix it up some and run programs. read more

Indoor pickleball & padel courts at Sawgrass! With the rainy weather, this spot couldn't have opened at a better time! They had a promotion of 50% off court reservations over the weekend and we had to take advantage of it. These courts are brand new & beautiful, with 10 pickleball courts and 7 padel courts. It was a great use of the space, located within Sawgrass Mills Mall, right next to the Rain Forest Cafe. They have an entrance from within the mall, that enters into their store and also another entrance you can enter in from the outside of the mall that goes straight to the courts. Parking is pretty easy and the courts are super new. A few notes from when we went during opening week- it was a bit hot in there, as expected, with the big open space being used for physical activity. I imagine it would be hard to keep this space cooler. The pickleball courts are back to back, which isn't the best design but I know they probably did this to make sure they had as many courts as possible inside. Having courts back to back with no barriers means that balls tend to roll and fly into other courts during game play, which isn't ideal. This happened way too much during our time here and we also had to run far distances to get the ball since the nets allow the ball to roll underneath. The bright orange color of the pickle courts are also not my favorite because it makes it a bit hard to see the ball, but that's just a personal con. I also got to try the padel courts while there and thought it was cool that they have these and padels available for rental. Now for the price... it's up there. I've been to a couple of indoor courts in Broward and Miami and none of them have reached these prices, in my experience. For Epic, currently, the pickleball courts are $60/hour during peak hours & $40/hour during non-peak hours while the padel courts are $35 *per person during peak hours and $30 *per person during non peak hours. Definitely make note of the per hour versus per person price difference between the courts. They have a membership, which is not too worth it in my opinion, with only one booking rental per month and a few other perks that don't really equate to the $99 per month (special promo price they currently have) and the $150 per month, normal price. I'm interested to see if they change up what the membership entails to make it worth the price or if they will make it a bit lower. A little bummed as I would've loved to possibly get a membership here since it's not too far from me and indoor courts are ideal in FL's hot & rainy weather. Overall, still a great place to play indoors if you're possibly playing with a big group to split the cost or try out pickleball or padel. read more

Today i Went to this great and new place organizing a friendly round robin with some of my pickleball students .. we had a blast! Courts are great, they all have divisions , the music was excellent, the atmosphere Was unique . Loved the place ! We will repeat again very soon! It is a great place to enjoy the game and to have fun while playing pickleball !! Next stop will be to learn how to play paddle ! Reserve your court through the play by point app!! Today I went to Epic Athletic Club. The paddle tennis and pickleball courts are spectacular. A fabulous option for the Florida climate since they have air conditioning. The service is excellent. All the staff is very friendly. They also have a store where you can buy everything you need for these sports. This place is ideal to enjoy with family and friends. 100% recommended. Staff recommended a different racket than the one I came for, and it didn't suit me. When I tried to bring it back, I was told items aren't "final sale," yet they don't accept returns that wasn't clear at purchase. Courts also play tight: low ceiling with a central obstruction affects lobs. Only plus: it's indoors. read more

Do not join this place. I joined back in September and went to play 3 separate times. 2 of which there were no other people to play. I was promised I would be notified if I was the only one signed up. That didn't happen. I called to cancel 4 times and was assured each time they cancelled me out. I had to cancel my credit card because they kept charging me. It's May and they're still charging my new card. Owner will not return my calls. Beware. read more

False advertising with membership. Claimed to have free court bookings and discounts on bookings and neither was fulfilled. When asking why the membership advertises a bunch of perks that it doesn't fulfill the answers were "they couldn't coordinate it correctly with their software company PlayByPoint," which is a crazy excuse to rip people off that paid upwards of $1200 per year for a membership. Another large issue are the courts. The pickleball courts are so tight back to back that you have to wait for the other team to finish a point before you even start your own point. There are no barricades to catch the balls so you spend half of your time chasing balls the length of the mall. Unless you are able to go when nobody is there don't bother trying to play here. They also removed the drinking fountains after the first week to boost their beverage sales and screw over customers as if the courts already aren't extremely expensive. read more

Amazing facility and so much fun! The only thing I will say is there's not much room between courts and the nets were in the way of serving :( We did have to stop a lot from balls on other courts coming onto our court. But, all said and done, it is a beautiful place! We came last weekend for a pickleball tournament hosted by Paddletap, owned and operated by Duane and Allan. If you're looking for tournaments to play in, I would highly recommend looking into Paddletap via Facebook or online. We always have a blast and they are very friendly and amazing hosts!! Next tournament is April 26 & 27 at this facility and I will absolutely be going there again! read more
