The car wash was mediocre at best. I will not use this car wash again; because it was subpar and I live in Texas. But the main reason I won't use Zips Car Wash is... On July 26th, I checked my credit card activity, there were daily attempts, starting July 23, from Zips #173 to charge my credit card $48.52! They were all declined, thank goodness. I called my credit card company to get a contact number for Zips, but it was not listed in their transaction data. I requested the card be canceled and a new one issued. I thought that would solve the problem. But nooooo! The daily attempts still showed up on my credit card account from July 27 to August 2. How frustrating and stressful to open the credit card app and see a red triangle and the word "Declined" on several line items. I tried calling the Zips #173 location, but it connects to an outsourced customer service call center. It was so frustrating. The rep asked for a lot info. I inquired why all that info was needed if I did not sign up for a membership? She said to research the system. Then she said "I see your membership, you must have forgotten you signed up." WTF! She canceled the membership and told me to remove the RF tag from my vehicle since the membership was canceled. What!?! Poor customer service from start to the finish.

Two days later when I returned with the cost of the repairs, the manager called me shady and hung up on me after saying that there is a sign on the premise stating they are not responsible for damage (these signs generally do not release a company from liability and are mostly a scare tactic) My options are now to file through my insurance, take the matter to small claims, or eat the cost of repair.
