We were really bad about setting a specific timeline for the day-of until the week before and Melissa was understanding and flexible with whatever needed to happen even with last-minute planning. She took nice family portraits for us and we had a blast taking our couples shots with her down on the beach. I'm a naturalist nerd and delighted in the fact that she is too, as we kept pausing to exclaim over beach-combing finds and incorporating things like sand dollars and peeling madrona bark into our photos. She did an excellent job balancing our requests for certain backdrops and types of shots with her own professional suggestions, and we couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out! It was somewhat of a hassle before we heard back that there was a deal (not that he told all of us but we're a tight group so word got around). Then a different deal was told to only one of the performers. The whole experience was a little shady when it came to purchasing. The original prices were astronomical and then any deals appeared to be a secret and only available to those who drilled for them.
