Everything was going great until the promised date of the engine arrival was delayed and barnettes was angry at jack's wife for giving me a timeframe. Barnettes was already having a situation with the engine that they were sending me!! (Hard to find part, they said). So I patiently waited hoping that they would give a correct engine since they wanted to be sure that it would have the correct parts... After having the engine my mechanic was already asking us if that was the right engine for my car and I said they wouldn't send me a wrong one right? And this all started July 2019. It is now January 2021!! I have received multiple tickets for not having my registration sticker on the car because I cannot have it smog checked because of the check engine light that is being caused by the WRONG engine. After having multiple check from multiple dealership, with alot of hard earned money spent, it is now concluded that it is a WRONG engine!!!! There is NO AFW/DOD on the engine they sent me and my car requires that. As of now, I am still in argument with them because they just voided my 5 years warranty and they just want to sent me the parts and have me pay whichever mechanic I will have my car fixed!!!! If only I was to look into the place where sharper edge was going to get the engine..... If they don't replace this WRONG engine I will report them to BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Fair warning!!!! Don't trust this company and all the people there!!! They are RUDE and very unprofessional because they are now voiding the 5 years warranty on the WRONG engine they sent me.... He did say younger kids can go. But please understand, when you hit the steel, hot metal comes flying out! I didn't think I was going to be strong enough to do it but I did! It was fun to make my little tomahawk. I learned a lot. He's a trained blacksmith and has worked up in Williamsburg so he knows a lot! This will probably be fun with friends but as usual, I went solo! The tomahawk didn't take as long as I had expected. But I had a lot of fun. You actually get to do a lot more than you think. Cool shop. Like I said, I used Eventbrite to buy a ticket. But I'm sure if you call, they will be more than happy to help you. His wife is super sweet and is also really friendly and helpful.
