I've been to the National City Epic Wings quite a few times this year because I love their wings and breadsticks. The bone in lemon pepper wings are so bomb because it retains that crunchy skin and I can dip it with the medium buffalo sauce. The mango habanero sauce is sweet, sticky and not too spicy. It's my favorite sauce that they have right now. The wings are always fried fresh and crispy. I love how I can grab a meal with hot breadsticks and a soda for under $15! That's a sweet deal! Something unique about Epic Wings is that: 1. they have white rice, which my Asian heart loves. 2. the breadsticks are so buttery, soft and fresh The staff here is always amazing! I come here all the time to get my wings n things fix. They have the best breadsticks and ranch in all the land and their wings are sauuuuucy. I always order to-go and the top sauces are mild, honey bbq, and garlic Parmesan. The service is about standard for any fast food dining spot and it's always loud in here with families and teenagers dining in. The staff was patient as we decided what to order and even provided their favorite sauces as recommendations. If you're getting the classic chicken wings or the strips, the flavor and quality is great! They are crispy with a juicy inside, and the right amount of sauce. Is there an option for no stars? Ordered our food online(no problem) made it to the location and saw there was a long line so I went to the side to ask for my online order and was told that we needed to stand in line to pick up our food. (Wow, just give me my food before it gets cold) defeats the purpose of ordering online which is frustrating because there was about 5 workers(3 cashiers, who knows what the other 2 were doing) so there was no efficiency how to handle customers who ordered online. Every time I walk in, I am greeted by the cashiers and the place is always clean and very welcoming. I wanted to try something new on my last visit so I asked for a sample of the sauce and they gladly provided it for me. The chicken is almost always tender and juicy, and the bread sticks are usually pretty fresh tasting. Today's takeout visit was pretty solid, 3.5 stars. What was good: The strips were flavorful and juicy The blue cheese was cold and delicious The garlic mild wings had some nice, crispy edges Customer service What went okay or worse: One of the celery pieces was brown on one end Most of the bread sticks, 4/6, were dry, and appeared unbuttered and unsalted, resulting in flavorless sticks of dough. The reason we gave 2 stars is that we placed our order in the app at this location at 6:21p. Order ready time given: 7:01p. Got there at 6:45p, parking was horrible, got into store 6:53p, and there was a crowd of 35-40 people. Many in Padres Jerseys because the game started at 6:40p. A lady next to me in line says, "Did you get a text? That's how you know your order is ready..my order was supposed to be ready 40mins ago, so they are about 40mins behind..." I then ran into another lady who told me the same. Then I went back to may car to wait for my text. After 10mins, I went back in to ask about my order. The man verified that they would text me when it was ready and that they were 90mins behind. Placed an order online and when I arrived, there was a long line. So I figured that line was to place orders. Asked an associate about having placed an order online and they said I still had to wait in the entire line, even though I paid in advance and was just there to pick up. Their overall process flow for ordering and picking up could use improvement. Once I finally got through the line and then got my order and got home, the food was barely lukewarm. I went here around 3pm, on super bowl Sunday 2026. Even in the hectic, chaotic, busiest time of the day, all of the staff were very nice, patient, helpful and efficient. Pointedly ignored me every time I tried to talk to them, asked everyone BUT me if they were picking up, let my delivery sit in the pick up area until I walked up and asked them loudly if they had a to-go order for me.
