The deal is up to 12 wings per person which is great because after 6 wings - dipped heavily in ranch sauce - I'm full. Deal doesn't come with any sides like radish or rice and costs extra. My go to spicy wing sauce is yangnyeom. The Littles (who normally don't like very seasoned or saucy things) surprisingly liked the 3 non spicy flavors. Bulgolgi fries is overall crispy and tasty but has little Bulgolgi in it. Japchae was underwhelming. Parking sucks but it never takes me more than 2 minutes to find parking. We decided to go for their current $1 wing special going on during Mondays and Tuesdays. We had been to the Convoy location but never checked out the National City location so we decided to give it a try. This location is a lot smaller than the Convoy location therefore there was a bit of a wait to be seated. We had given our name to the hostess to be added to the waitlist and after about waiting 45 minutes, we had asked if our name had been called. She had let us know that it hadn't yet so we continued to wait. I understand they were very busy but we think they forgot to put our name down when it was given to them initially. In total, we waited about an hour to be sat and we went on a Tuesday around 6pm. We ordered 5 wings of each flavor that they had. They had Korean BBQ, Soy Garlic, Yangnyeom, and Spicy. They were all very delicious flavors. I recommend the Soy Garlic if you're not into spicy food/flavors. The Yangnyeom flavor was new and it was very tasty with a little kick of spice, definitely recommend. The Korean BBQ was very good as well, we felt it just had a slight more spice than the Yangnyeom flavor. The Spicy was pretty spicy for us and we eat quite a bit of spice on the daily. Bonchon was located in a large plaza, the business was tucked away in the corner. It's pretty close to Seafood City (a market). But they have soju, beer, sodas, and sparkling water. They were kind to refill our cups with water and give us cups of ice as well. We came in after walking 4 ish miles in the heat so the iced drinks were very much appreciated! The total for our lunch was ~$101.57, which is shocking to see a large number. But when you think about it, there was 5 of us, so about $20 per person! Which isn't too bad, especially for quality. We were able to finish all the food and felt satisfied. I came here a few times for lunch, this place has really good service and food. The workers are always polite and welcoming. I always get the lunch spicy combos wings with rice, they come out tender, crispy and spicy. So delicious!! Sometimes I get another order to save for later, and it'll still taste good and not dry out or get hard. The sauce is spot on here.
