It's been years since I've eaten inside In-N-Out, but I visited today around 12:00 PM, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize Jessica for her wonderful customer service. She asked what number we were waiting for and personally brought our food to our table. I also noticed her doing the same for other customers and taking the time to clean tables and keep the dining area nice, clean, and welcoming. Jessica was so kind, attentive, and hardworking. In-N-Out Otay Ranch! Inside and outside it does get crowded. The ambiance is nice if you can find a place to sit. Love their #2 combo with a large root beer float and a side of spread for my fries, so delicious! Just be prepared for a crowd. The drive-thru has two lines that merge into one when you order, and I waited about 45 minutes. Food is always worth it when I'm craving fries and a root beer float. When you're hungry & in a hurry & you see an In N Out you need to stop. They do get very busy but ordering in the drive thru is quick with friendly order takers. I'm a big fan of In-N-Out, I eat here all the time and it's honestly one of my favorite spots. Today though I gotta say this location has the worst parking setup I've seen. It's all blocked off with cones everywhere, super confusing, and if something happens you're basically stuck unless you start moving cones yourself. Definitely inconvenient just getting in.But aside from that, it's still a 5-star spot. Customer service is always on point, no complaints there at all. In-N-Out is just a staple in Southern Cali you already know. If you go, you HAVE to try this: protein burger, well done, double tomato, no spread, whole grilled onions, and fries extra crispy if you don't like crunchy fries get them medium well the fries. Trust me. About to eat this in my car with the little lap cover they give you, which is honestly one of the coolest things took pics of everything too. All the locations I've been to are very clean. We came in at 10:30 am, when they were just opening up. The dining area, countertops and windows were immaculate. (The bathrooms were pristine too!) The young lady at the counter was fast, friendly and helpful, carefully repeating back our order, to make sure she got it correctly. I mean, In-N-Out is one of my favorite fast food burger spots. I was baby-sitting my niece and after school I took her to In-N-Out, this location has ample parking since it's in a shopping center and the drive through is easy to maneuver. We parked and ate at the restaurant, the cashier was so kind and gave my niece a little hat and game for her to play while we waited. We got food with some good timing, not crazy at all, we found seats outside but I wish there were more seating outside, there were probably only 4 tables. A nice older gentlemen let us share his table with him. Food was good, my only issue was that while waiting in line inside the restaurant smelled like a bathroom it was really off putting. But other than that I'd definitely come back. read more

(This is a minor complaint..) but when I ask for spread & the employee grabs it with their hands that have been touching other things.. please don't place it on top of my exposed burger. Plain gross. My 3x3 looked like a single patty from the top because the other 2 patties were squished at the bottom (I added pics so you can see) & the fries were cold & soggy as if they had been sitting out.. Very disappointing. I live down the street/5mins away so the food couldn't have gone cold so quick. The wait at this location is always 30-40mins to get your food, so I understand they're busy, but DANG! No need to toss the food around, squish it together & give it out.. I go to other locations & never experience service like this. The gamble of "is my food going to be good this time?" Is already expected from this location when I go. Other than the food, This location inside & out is really packed, so expect to wait a while. The inside is clean & the line outside is well managed by the staff. I would rate this In-N-Out restaurant a mere zero stars. This was my worst experience ever at an In-N-Out restaurant. I have been visiting In-N-Out restaurants for many years, but this was the first time I had such a disappointing experience. In addition to the poor customer service, I spent over $60 on my order. I asked the employee to add special sauce, chili peppers, and ketchup to my meal, but he did not proceed with the order. I had to ask him twice and add more ingredients. Furthermore, he forgot to give me my five drinks. This was a complete disappointment, and I will not be returning to this location. I arrived home, disappointed, and with no drink drinks !!!! 2nd visit to an In-N-Out in less than a week. Meal was as usual good, fresh and hot. I came here with part of wife's 3rd grade class. As I arrived I found an area that would accommodate the 14 and thus be all together. I spoke with an employee, Nestor, and told him how I was trying to save those 14 seats for elementary kids. He told me that if I needed anything to secure the spots or had problems to contact him. I did shoo a couple away and they were more than happy not be next to 14 9-10 year olds when I told them who I was saving the area for. The kids finally arrived, got their orders and proceed to eat. During and at the end of meal the kids were helped by 2 other great employees- Nadia and Giselle. Giselle made sure that all the kids had their leftovers well packed in their bags. I've seen in the last week the great employees at In-N-Out and them making visits enjoyable while dining. I was here the other night and it took over an hour to get a burger and fries to go. It wasn't the staffs fault, there was just a massive amount of people. The number of cars in the drive-thru was pretty long too. This appears to be a busy location in the evening. But the worst part about the visit was the burger. The associate outside taking orders was very rude. Usually this location has really helpful, friendly customer service people. It's confusing for drive through with 2 lines that merge into one. I waited for the person to the side of me to go and when they didn't I started to pull forward. The male associate rudely told me to stop, that's not how we do this, that line goes first. Drives Thurs are meant to be fast. At this location I was in the drive thru line for over 45 min! They may need better management!

This is the third time I've had an issue with my order at this location, and I'm honestly getting very frustrated. Every time I come here, something seems to be missing. During this visit, I politely asked for special sauce three separate times to make sure it wasn't forgotten, but when I got home, there was no special sauce at all. There was also no ketchup included with my order.On top of that, one of my pink lemonades was completely missing, even though I paid for it. The pink lemonade I did receive wasn't even filled properly. It's disappointing to spend money on food and drinks and then realize that part of what you paid for isn't there. I understand that mistakes happen, especially when employees are busy, but this is now the third time I've had items missing from my order. After multiple experiences like this, it feels like there isn't enough attention being paid to making sure orders are accurate before they're handed out. Customers shouldn't have to double-check everything or drive back to the restaurant because items were forgotten.I usually enjoy the food here, which is why I keep coming back, but the repeated mistakes are becoming very frustrating. I hope this location can improve its order accuracy and quality control so other customers don't have the same experience. I love this location. It's located in Bonita and a small shopping center that has a Denny's in a Vons and some other businesses. What I love most about it is it's just never as crazy busy as the other In-N-Out locations! I just went again yesterday afternoon and there wasn't even a line inside. There was a line in the drive-through, but nothing crazy at all. I think in general every In-N-Out has really friendly staff, but this one for sure does! Each time I've come in I've had my friends small son and everybody's very sweet to him and gives him some stickers while we wait for the food. He absolutely loves their vanilla milkshakes.
