As I waited 30 minutes, I found myself feeling conflicted because there wasn't a spot to sit down that didn't allow me to overhear his tarot reading but instead I had to pace back and forth in the store. Nevertheless, during my own reading, I find myself intellectualizing and unable to focus on the reading perhaps, due to my own strong skepticism of this trade. Moreover, I believe that a lot of what she was reading was based off of a solid understanding of generalizations and intuition of human behaviors and emotions; I felt that this was vindicated through her statement that tarot reading is meant to "validate" what you already feel and believe. As a result, I did not walk away with a new found understanding or great revelation but my partner did like his reading and found it "spot on".
