I will NEVER go back! Had a skin cancer removed. During the stitching process, I had to ask for more lidocaine, as I wasn't completely dead! I am self pay and they quoted me 480 for my second visit, that I paid! I come back today, to have the stitches removed and they say I have a balance of $500! Basically they are ripping people off! I should also mention that the blonde at the front desk needs to learn to be courteous to all customers! I will tell everyone that I know NOT to go here! I was recently referred to Dr McLin for a skin check. From the moment I called to make my appointment until the moment I met her, I encountered an extremely professional staff. The office is modern and clean. Dr McLin was through and efficient. In the past, other dermatologists I'd visited would only address one issue per visit but she tackled all 3 concerns I had excellence. Tried to make an appointment 3 times. The first two online which were canceled. After fixing the information needed online they scheduled me without calling or confirming the time and date, just sent an email. I couldn't go the date they picked so I called the office and spoke to someone who was so incredibly rude. She hung up on me when I told her I wanted to cancel and talked to me like I was a child. She never gave her name but I called 6/14/23 in the morning. Will never go here or recommend based off this experience alone. read more

Belinda I think she is the patient coordinator was pretty rude to me today when I went in for my visit. It makes me want to find a new doctor due to the way she spoke with me today. The instructions for getting a prescription sent to the office weren't communicated to me and she was condescending telling me I should've called if I had questions. I wouldn't know I needed to call based on the very limited information I had. I had 2 in office visits where no additional information was given to me that I needed to take action. There's nothing that would justify the way she spoke with me and the way I was treated in the office today. Extremely disappointing and disrespectful. read more

Dr. Hunter Sams examined a skin problem and prescribed an ointment for my wife. The appointment was ineffective, so my wife saw a different dermatologist, in a different clinic. The new dermatologist was amazed at what had been prescribed by Dr. Sams, as she said it could only relieve the itching / and not treat the source of the problem. The new prescription, by the new dermatologist, quickly resolved the situation. This causes us to have no faith in the diagnostic ability or care of practice of Dr. Sams or Epiphany Dermatology. read more

What an incredible find! I moved to the area a while back and received a referral for Epiphany Dermatology from a family member. So, I decided to put my trust in them. I have had a lot of skin issues over the years, so I really needed a good dermatologist and thank goodness I found one. The doctors and the staff are fantastic. Worst doctor experience I have ever had. Went in to have moles checked and some help with uneven skin coloring/reducing pores. Clearly I was a patient at the end of their day, or maybe they don't bother to take more than 3 minutes with any of their patients. I went in hopeful to get some information on microneedling, or laser treatment maybe (I don't know what would help ... that's why I thought I went to them, so they would tell me) then ongoing face care. Instead I think I got a prescription for retinol and directions thrown at me to use a cleanser and face cream thicker than a lotion for moisturizing. And sunblock (no shit). Which cleanser?! Which face cream?! I'm not even sure since the Dr flew flew through it while the other person in the room took some notes that I never saw. The only thing I got when I left was the receipt for the $250 the 3 minutes with the Dr cost me. I didn't even bother to go get the prescription. I'll make an appointment at another dermatologist in hopes they'll actually provide me with services which I'll happily pay for if it helps. As a note, the nice women as I checked out was really trying to help as I was kind of flabbergasted at checkout. I didn't even know where I was supposed to go to get the prescription other than "the parking lot". At that point I was already done though. I can not express enough do not waste your time or money on this place. read more

Deceptive business practice! A procedure was performed two separate times, two weeks apart, before we were told how much our insurance actually paid. We were then asked for the full amount that second day, AFTER they were done -- GOTCHA. Normally, a medical office will notify you of what your expected portion of a procedure will be, beforehand, so hardworking people can prepare themselves financially to pay for them. When I called to speak to a supervisor, I called three separate times, sitting on hold for over three minutes each time. Finally had to leave a message. The only reason I gave more than 1 star was that my son actually liked the doctor. Too bad the office staff will keep people from getting good care. read more

I have been going for a couple years now, I am finding a new dr., they won't answer questions you have without being in an appointment. I pay upfront. They did a biopsy (for acne) they sent me bills for after my paid in full bill in office. I have hormonal acne. Menopausal acne. They didn't even test my hormones. Treating me with the least effective treatments possible to get me to come back in, it seems.I have had to research this myself and find a new dr while my nodular/cystic acne spreads. Won't refill prescriptions or even send notes to the dr they just say, come back in. It's easier to go to a new dr with my own research and start fresh. They say the best treatment is to treat it in the beginning before it spreads. They didn't help me. If she had of listed to me in the beginning and treated it aggressively I might not have this huge problem now. It's been a waste of my time and money. Everywhere I go now people are saying "omg, what's wrong with your face"! Thanks Doc! read more

I've left message after message for a medical staff member to call me back and the office manager and no one responds. In person they are wonderful as long as you don't need anything after you leave. *** Sucks at my referrals*** I want to start that I have been a patient for years and when going to the office, the doctor/nurse/staff are very nice. When it comes to referrals, the office misses the mark every time and I am put out. 2 for 2 with putting it back on the patient (me) and passing on the blame. This second time around, instead of empathy and or sympathy it was reactive tone and blame must be on my doctor's office. Which did what they were asked to do in requesting my referral. It was there the whole time via the medical provider. Obviously I am upset when hearing this and this person continued to be reactive saying it is not "their" fault. I called this person out, saying they should practice sympathy with patients, not be reactive if is not their fault. Then their tone changed, but it's too late. Andrea McLin is awesome, I went in with rosacea and several keloid scars on my chest and shoulders. She reviewed the medicine that I had tried in the past then provided me a treatment plan. I'm currently entering my third month of Accutane to prevent more keloids and help with the rosacea. She also immediately started injecting my keloids with steroids to break them up which has made a huge difference. Most of my keloids are flat (level with my skin) compared to being raised up around 1/8 to 1/4". In addition to the great treatment plan, Andrea is very caring and truly listens to you and your needs. The nursing staff and front desk are nice people, I haven't had to deal very much with them but all of my interactions have been good. One note, make sure that you ask about the price of treatment prior to being treated. I have great insurance so I haven't had to worry about it, but I will say dermatology drugs and treatment no matter where you go is expensive. A lot of insurance companies see it as elective so double check with your insurance before scheduling an appointment. read more

These people are the WORST!!! They never called me to set up the initial appt and because I didn't know who I had been referred to, I waited over a week before I called my doctor back & asked. They gave me a phone # to Epiphany, so I called them. I had 4 small spots of psoriasis, so I was prescribed a steroid cream to use for 7 days & a 2nd cream to use after that. Within just a few days, the steroid cream had caused the psoriasis to spread over my entire body (arms, legs, back, chest, neck, face, even in my ears!). I went online to set up a 2nd appt, telling them that I was much, much worse and needed to get back in there as soon as possible. That was over 2 weeks ago and nothing, no phone call or email to schedule the appt. I am so miserable with the itching & pain that I am going back to my primary doctor to ask for a referral to a dermatology clinic that actually cares about their patients and make her aware that Epiphany Dermatology has absolutely NO concern whatsoever, so she can stop referring people to this clinic. They SUCK!!!!! read more
