I was quoted a price for a Mazda5, an unusually small SUV. Afterwards, I discovered an additional…read moreroughly 25% "Large vehicle" fee tacked on. Now, the car was pretty dirty and I thought the initial price was kind of high, I agreed to it because of not ever having used any of these kinds of services before. No mention of any additional fees prior to nor after "completion" of the job. It is my opinion that kids running companies like this need to learn some things. Adding on charges without customer knowledge being one of them. I paid the original invoice, while the Nomad crew let me know that they would not be able to provide me services in the future before agreeing to the original, agreed upon price. On that point, we both agreed. I wasn't interested in having a less than optimal detailing of my car with surprise charges either. My advice here? Get your price up front and be ready for a cleaning rather any 'detailing'. In short, the car seats were still dirty. The wheels were partially cleaned. The exterior paint was somewhat cleaner and the license plate holder was broken into pieces. It was overpriced for the results achieved. This was prior to (attempted) surprise 'large car' charges for one of the tiniest cars I've ever seen since the Cooper. I just wish I knew all that ahead of time. Other than all of that, they were 'ok'. It was cleaner than it was before the 'detailing'. For that, and for the lesson learned, I was grateful. Final note, just be careful of over-hype, over-charges and less than detailed 'detailing' for a pretty hefty price. If you've a high dollar luxury car owner, I guess none of that will bother you. If you're a regular working Joe, you might want to settle for a manual high pressure spray hose or a drive through car wash and vacuum it out yourself. It'll save you close to a half a grand for a partially cleaned car. Lesson learned. Oh, and it you're worried about security issues with Google or the like, you can forget that completely. Ahh but who cares about a secure way of payment. You're forced to use insecure methods of payment. All the kids these days do that too.
