The evaluation appointment is extremely thorough and Rebecca's knowledge of body mechanics is impressive. Not only that, but Rebecca has the compassion and energy of a true healer. I went to see Rebecca upon a recommendation from a friend. Years ago it was recommended that I have carpal tunnel surgery, but unfortunately that surgery did almost nothing to fix my problem. Ever since I have had to manage on a daily basis with low level pain and compromised mobility. After just a few sessions with Rebecca I began to feel a difference in my body and was hopeful for the the first time that I could restore the mobility and live pain-free. After 10 sessions I feel almost completely better. This is not a quick process as most of us accumulate issues over many years. But now I able to stand, sit, and walk almost effortlessly with good posture which used to feel forced and unnatural.

I really appreciated how all of the staff take the time to communicate clearly and quickly via email prior to any bookings. Be sure to look out for certain discounts as well. For example, teachers and military get excellent deals - reach out to their studio email via their website. I just attended a private last week, and it was my first exercise class post-baby. I was a bit nervous considering my athletic ability, flexibility, and core strength were all so different than pre-baby. However, Hailey was equal parts encouraging, reassuring, and proactive. I felt accomplished by the end of the class, and the time went by extremely quickly. The exercise classes have something for everyone: there's a 101 for fundamentals, an athletic reformer class, a cardio reformer class, among several others. I can't imagine you would get bored any time soon should you choose to get a class package. Many of the class packages also come with guest passes, so you can take a friend. Parking near the complex is excellent: there's a huge private lot for the building behind the studio. A major plus for me is that they are so close to Jeni's Ice Cream and Frothy Monkey to name a few. (Possibly a bit dangerous in terms of yummy temptations. Ah well, that's why we go to pilates, haha.) Definitely give them a shot!

I had suffered a traumatic accident that had left my lower leg broken and my patella tendon ripped off. After having reconstructed surgery on my lower leg and knee, I was sent off to physical therapy. Before leaving for treatment, I was told I would never be able to run again (one of my favorite hobbies) On my first day, I met my therapist Tim who would be working with me for the next six months. I can not say enough positive things about Tim and his treatment strategy. I told him what my doctor said about never being able to run again... to which he ensured me it was a mindset, not a diagnosis. Over the next six months, I worked with Tim to achieve my goals. Tim was extremely friendly and made me feel at ease with my recovery. He pushed me in the ways I needed to be pushed to ensure I would make a full recovery. His personability made me feel like I had gained a friend who was also a physical therapist. His attention to detail on all the questions I had about my treatment was a plus for me. Annie, one of the other therapists on staff, took an interest in my recovery. Even though I was not a full-time patient of mine, she made me feel welcomed and cared about regarding my recovery and progress towards my goals. The woman working the front desk Becca always made me feel welcomed and ensured that I enjoyed myself while I was at my treatments and was always willing to crack a joke. Overall the staff is top-notch, and I would recommend Star on White Bridge Road to anyone who asks. Tim, Annie, and Becca as a team is the best STAR has to offer. I'm sitting in a parking lot waiting for my prescriptions and decided to review immediately because this office was just that great! I was a walk in client and still got in very quickly. They were up front with pricing so I knew exactly what the cost was to me before being called back. They were able to give me x-rays and a breathing treatment on the spot, and gave me treatment options without being pushy and without it seeming like they were getting money from a pharmaceutical company for selling certain brands. The doctor was willing to discuss my concerns about the prescriptions and never made me feel like I was annoying or out of line. He even printed coupons for my prescriptions when I asked about lowest cost pharmacies. I'm very happy with my experience here, and will likely return for primary care needs.
