The WORST EXPERIENCE in this so called "school" They have…read moreunqualified people working with these small children. My son attended this school a total of 3-4 weeks. In that short time, I noticed several red flags. PARENTS if your heart is telling you otherwise LISTEN to your heart. Starting with the first person you speak to at the very entrance, Mayra (the front desk) lady. Very standoffish and rude. She must forget she works with small children and not in a prison. My son had a BAD accident at this school. He's only 3! The staff at this facility do not know what protocol means. My mom picked up my son only to find him bleeding, and with both lips swollen, marks of old blood on his face, possible a nose bleed too. This aid person literally handed off my son to my mom and said here you go, my mom immediately noticed and instantly asked what had happened. Not only did they LIE but they did not provide first aid, not until my mom asked how this happened did they bring my son back into the school and denied my mom access into the school. What happened while they took back inside and my mom waited outside I will never know. They filled an incident report after the fact. And completely LIED about what happened. He clearly fell down, truth be told I will never know what really happened. They also tried to have me sign a different incident report a day after !!!! They added more things to the report which is ILLEGAL! And incident report is a legal document. They LIED about what happened. No one informed me, didn't get a call from the principal. NOTHING! DO NOT SEND YOUR BABIES HERE! They are unqualified and unprofessional. The principal Mr. Lim allows the staff to do whatever they want with these kids. It's unfortunate that more than 50% of the parents here don't know that they too have a voice and should speak up against the school. Wether it's a language barrier or not, all parents have a voice, we are our children's advocates. My 12 year old also attended this school 10 years ago. It was bad then and it's still bad now. Don't let them fool you during orientation. They said they were big on "communication" that's a lie! They load up your children with SUGAR, and unhealthy foods. Children aren't allowed to bring their own food. I tried reaching out to the teacher via the dojo app 2x with feedback regarding my son. She never replied, not until I asked to speak to the principal. The teacher and the principal were both very dismissive of my feelings and the entire situation. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE.

We have since moved farther away, but we continue to make the drive because the peace of mind we have knowing our children are in such loving and caring hands is priceless. The teachers and staff truly nurture our children's minds, hearts, and souls. We love the small class sizes, the individual attention our children receive, and the First Communion preparation offered during school hours. Private school is a financial sacrifice, but ICS is absolutely worth it for our family. We are also very grateful for the financial aid available to families. We feel truly blessed to be part of the ICS community. Thank you to all the teachers and staff for everything you do for our children!

The teachers and staff are all so kind, genuine, loving and generous. The school offers an incredibly nurturing environment. The academics are also top-notch and the teachers tailor learning to students (for example, if your child is more advanced in a particular subject they will ensure he or she stays challenged with more rigorous assignments). My son has flourished since becoming part of the ICS family. If you are contemplating enrollment I would not hesitate. Between the steadfast commitment to academics and the nurturing environment ICS truly is an exceptional place.

We love this school from an education standpoint, which is most important. However, there is a…read morenotable con that prevents me from giving 5-stars--beginning with the odd release hours. They release early quite often. Every Tuesday is 1pm release, and during conference weeks or teacher planning weeks, every single day is 12pm (half day) release. That being said, as a working parent, it's been tough (sometimes near-impossible) at times to bend my schedule to accommodate. Why don't I just do after school care, you wonder? There was a waitlist and it filled immediately. We moved from out of state, and didn't have a chance to apply to the waitlist. There is currently nothing to do but put your child on the waitlist and hope you can get in. There are also no buses at this school, so there is no option to have your child bussed to childcare facilities. If you work a 9-5, just be prepared for this. No one warned us of these somewhat difficult workarounds, so I wanted to make other working parents aware. Education-wise, like I said, the school is excellent. Our child is thriving and the teacher is great, our child loves her.

That was only One of the red flags from this school but unfortunately I went ahead and enrolled my 4yr because of the convenient location. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone! The office manager acts like she runs a military school. There is zero communication among the staff and they have TOO many kids enrolled. My kid went here for two weeks and we could not do it any longer. The drop off at 8am is insane with cars piled up next to each other and you still have to wait in line to sign your child in and leave them at the door. The principal of Wilton EEC talks down to parents and lacks communication. I luckily found a better school where they are welcoming, care about students and parents and have fun performances and spirit weeks. The principal at my son's new school commutators either parents daily via an app. I don't have much feedback on the teachers at Wilton as I met them once and my kid never mentioned anything negative of them. Boys and girls share a bathroom - which is odd. There should be boy girl bathrooms for kids their age. This school also feeds the kids sugary snacks and drinks from what my son told me. Cookies and milk everyday is not OK. I now drive 20 min to and from a new school vs the 2 min it took to Wilton. I'll take a better education over a convenient location any day.

The Willows was the only school on my list that wasn't on the "Westside" and I was hesitant to even go to the tour because of that very reason, but I am so glad I did. Touring private schools is like being on the Bachelor. You get to know each other by going on dates (tours), spend money (applications), and one magical day (in March) you get a rose or not. Usually the process is very one sided being that there are way more applications than availability, but Willows never made me feel like they were dating anyone else. I toured a total of 5 schools, but Willows was the only school that sent me a thank you note for the time I spent on my tour. I'm sorry, but a gesture like that goes a long way. We as parents are expected to send follow up notes (hello beyondthebrochure), but to receive one- made me get butterflies. Who wants to date someone and not feel special? When I toured Willows, we lucked out and had Kim Feldman as our tour guide. She is not only the director of enrollment for the school, but she started there as a parent. I toured the school and was just in awe of their progressive approach. They recognize that every child learns differently- so they offer different approaches and strategies when it comes to teaching. This was the only school that I toured that left me wishing that I went to a school like this as a child. The school is warm and beautiful, but what makes the school stand out the most are the teachers and support staff. You can tell that everyone that works there loves their job and love what they represent. They genuinely care about you and your children. They are known throughout the community for hosting some exceptional parent education events - Besty Brown Braun, Dan Siegel, Frank Bruni, and etc were all speakers this year. They have a wonderful WPA and there's always events going on that promotes community and unity. If you are looking for a haven where your child will grow and thrive. Willows is it. My son has grown immensely not only intelligently, but emotionally as well. I credit them because they use the RULER approach which really resonated with him (so much that he wanted to make our very own "mood meter" at home). He has gained so much confidence and found his voice in such a short period of time here and I'll be forever grateful to the Willows because of it.
