On the move out, Jenny provided very specific details of what was required of me to get the deposit back.... this was specific to cleaning the apartment. This was not complicated, but I did have a couple of points that I wanted clarified. I contacted the VMG and I received the response from Jenny within the hour. Instead, after following up myself, I was told that I was no longer second but had been moved behind two other people. This was never explained to me, and it felt like I was completely overlooked in the process. The lack of communication, transparency, and fairness was very unprofessional. It makes me question whether being a Section 8 voucher holder influenced their decision to bypass me -- which, if true, would be discriminatory and unacceptable. If you're considering applying with this company, be aware that they do not seem to honor their own applicant lists or provide equal treatment to all applicants.
