Such a rip off place don't take any one ER here unless its life threatening. My daughter just had a rash for some random food she ate and ER doctor recommended some steroids. We got charged right away 300$ for hospital fee.... And the lady said that's the only amount we will be charged and rest on insurance. Last night and today's experience somewhat ruined my opinion of this location. I presented with a high fever, severe dehydration, headache, chest tightness, shortness of breath, aches, and a rash on my legs. Covid and flu came back negative so the doctor (Dr. Ghuman) who never even personally examined me (never even came closer than the door frame of the room actually) said "hunny you just have a cold" and sent me home with nsaids. I had specifically told them I can't take NSAIDs. I was too sick to realize that's what they gave me and I'm still dealing with bloody vomit and a burning stomach from the single dose of ibuprofen they gave me. The nurse told me before I left if my fever came back at all to come back in. She was very helpful and kind. The next day I saw my regular doctor and they told I actually have a bacterial infection. I called the er, told them I have more than a cold and my fever was back up. Should I come in if it gets out of hand during the night? Whoever I spoke to seemed offended I got another opinion and said no, your fever is fine where it's at, you need to tough it out, and cut the call short. read more

This place was terrible. Went in with dizziness and they didn't do a CT or mri, sent me on my way with basically a shrug and a "follow up with your pcp because we don't know what's wrong". Now they sent me to debt collections for the visit when I never received a bill in the mail. How are you going to charge me $1,000+ to shrug and say ask someone else??? Beware! Not an urgent care! This is an HCA ER which charges hyper-inflated prices. Took my son to get checked for the flu. In and out in 43 minutes(door to door) no IV, no X-ray, no medication $5,000!! Forget about appealing it as well. "Nurse" review then a "administrative " review. No interaction with me, just nope that's what price is. Great ER. Just like a hospital. Staff there know how to treat people. I would recommend this place to everyone.

It was Friday the 13th and all was well in the afternoon until I got a call from my mom that she strumbled in the garage and fell down.She really messed her leg,ankle and foot so in the car and off the new ER. Pulled up to the front asked the security guard to get a staff person and a wheelchair. My mom was very unsteady and in lots of pain. She was taken back to a room and was hooked up to heart/pressure monitor.The Dr. was very positive for her and got xrays taken. The insurance and nursing staff were all very attentive. The facility is new ,clean,open 24/7 and located close in Lutz. Very good care was given -stat. read more

Originally went to the new 24/7 ER on Bruce B Downs, which was a phenomenal experience on how good they treated me, but decided to go to this one since is closer and had fever. Worst decision ever! Been having temperature change for the past week and a half and all they said was: "everything looks normal. You don't have a fever because is 99.2 (not to mention that this is why I went, because it goes to 100.7 then drops, then goes back up and drops, and covid, flu, mono, strep throat tests ALL negative). They said follow up with your primary dr". ANGELA! Worse nurse I've ever met, but had to hold myself back from cussing her out! On top of that, wanted to charge me there when my insurance card clearly says: "DO NOT COLLECT PAYMENT AT TIME OF SERVICE". STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! read more

I took my wife to this place today. After getting no help we left with a $600 bill and where asked to go and see our primary on Monday. No help at all! Why??? Nobody was nice all they wanted to do was get you in and out. My wife is still in so much pain it's not fair. You ppl need to stop talking about the last ppl that where there and stop telling ppl about the person that was just in there that may of had the virus. My wife is now distressed. Whatever you do don't go there if you're in true pain! They let you sit there and state that they cannot give you any more medicine. I am a professional businesswoman I'm not a druggie! I don't expect to be treated like one! I came here because I heard they really take care of their patients and are concerned about their pain and health. It's all a lie! I went to ER Lutz today as I was referred by a physician to have an infection treated with lab work done. My family has been to this facility for stitches and multiple minor emergencies and have had overall positive experiences. Upon arrival I was "greeted" by "Laura" which is the nurse that was working today. The first thing she said to me was: "What are you doing here? This isn't a walk-in clinic. You should leave, you might not be able to afford being here." I felt like she was treating me as if I were homeless. I'm Latina and I'm 100% sure this white woman was racist to me personally. I informed her that I do have insurance and have every right to be seen. Thankfully Dr. Dominguez was wonderful and very helpful to me and ordered the labs needed and wrote the appropriate prescriptions. To the person that reads this and is responsible for the reviews and feedback, you have no idea how poorly this woman reflects on your facility by restricting patients that need to be there. I didn't go because I was seeking attention or bored at home. I was referred there and have better things to do with my time. I went there mid-morning and the place was basically empty and I spent about 30 minutes there. Surely having patients helps you make more money? Why should you treat your patients like that? When you insult them and treat them like garbage, it makes them feel like going elsewhere. God forbid that I came in without a gunshot wound or a critical enough emergency for you. You need to fix your intake people to reflect the professionalism and caring warmth exhibited by the medical staff in the back. read more

Total rip off!!! I visited on January 1, 2019 because my primary care physician's office was closed. Upon entering I showed my insurance card and asked what I would be charged. After looking at my insurance, I was told my visit would cost $150.00. I was shocked to receive a bill for $2394.48 for a sinus infection. This was the most incomplete exam I have ever received by a doctor. The doctor spent less than 10 minutes with me, never even looking in my nose or testing me for the flu. After my visit here, I continued to get sicker so I went to my PCP on 1/8/19. I have requested a review and breakdown of the charges but have gotten nowhere. read more

Incompetent staff. The security guard was more knowledgeable and compassionate than the medical staff regarding my issue. Went in with lesions that wouldn't heal. Suspected parasite infestation. Medical staff assumed I was either crazy or on drugs. Three weeks post visit, I'm still trying homeopathic remedies to extinguish parasites. read more

My husband went here last night to get stitches. He was seen quickly and they were very compassionate.

Beware! This is nothing more than a $$$$ rip-off. Went there with a known issue in May.. Usually go to a walk in clinic, get the Z-pac (bronchitis), and issue is resolved. This occurs once a year and cost no more than $100.00. Went here because it was closer to home, but gave them my insurance card and asked them to call and find out how much I would pay out of pocket. After two calls they said 80/20 and my part would be around 100-200. Went ahead with the service, during which I realized something wasn't right, they kept trumping up further tests which I refused. Lo and behold a few weeks later I get two bills, one for the ER for $1300 and another for the doctor for $900. They failed to indicate my deductible had to be met first. Called the ER billing inquiry number and they refused to do anything, other than settle for $100.00 less, big deal. It's was like talking to a brick wall. After two appeals and grievances with my insurance nothing was done. My attorney said I was better off paying than fighting, which these people know. Recently furloughed and asked for this to be taken into consideration, but of course that wasn't going to happen, they just want your money. With all the time, frustration, letters, & phone calls this has consumed nothing was considered, they even retracted the 100.00 less amount. They need to be exposed for who they are, a con job. My boyfriend had been up all night, severely sick, and I couldn't drive him to the hospital. We arrived around 7am via ambulance. The nurses on staff watched the door for the ambulances to enter the building close, without even moving to open it for them, until the ambulance had to buzz in. When I *finally* got to see him in the room, he was hardly covered in a flimsy blanket, he was writhing in pain from his back, and the nurse who stuck him with an IV jabbed it into his arm, hard. It had looked like the plastic went into his arm as well. The nurse that was there was unbelievably rude to the both of us, and didn't even bother to check him out to see if he was okay. They prescribed him nausea medicine, gave him a pain killer, and discharged him without even checking him externally for problems or doing any further examination. He begged for water, they said no. Ended up giving him a cup of ice chips. He asked about his back pains, the nurse responded rudely "I'm giving you medicine right now", WITHOUT even looking at him. Every response we got from these 2 nurses on staff this morning were completely RUDE and disrespectful to my sick boyfriend, who needs to be checked rather than neglected. Now here I am, the next night, about to be up all night again taking care of him while he's burning up. I still don't know what's wrong with him or how severe his sickness is. Because of this horrible ER, we have no money to pay for a different hospital visit to find out! TLDR; Horrible ER, horrible staff. Basically took one look at him, prescribed him nausea medicine, and charged us $350. read more

I took my husband to this ER. It was not busy and he was taken directly to a room. Which was great. The facility is very nice. Our complaint was the Dr. He was extremely dismissive and rude. He failed to listen to our concerns. It was obvious he knew nothing about a condition my husband has, so he ignored it. We ended up getting worked in to see our primary care Dr later that day and actually received appropriate treatment. We won't go back. read more

Took my daughter because she had a high fever and didn't want to take any risks. Nothing was wrong they just took the vitals and gave her Tylenol, that's all! . First month the bill summed up to $1600, 5 months later got another bill (for a doctor I didn't even meet) for another $900. What a RIP OFF this place is! Took my wife in with severe abdomen pain (thought she was passing kidney stones). They did a CAT scan and gave her an IV. Gave her a nausea pill and found nothing wrong...in and out in less than 90 mins. Got the invoice and they charged $16,653 for the CT scan and the one pill for nausea (ondansetron 4mg) $295.08 are you kidding me! They might as well of been wearing ski mask! Claims it's a hospital and everything is billed under Medical Center of Trinity. Total charges came to $26,869 with adjustments/discounts of $22,827 final bill $4,042 of which we are responsible for 20%. How do these people sleep at night!!! read more
