Due to circumstances, I ended up at Advance ER and came away extremely impressed with the staff and facility. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Facility, Return) Atmosphere - I was immediately greeted upon walking in and directed to sit in a very nice waiting area. While this is a full emergency room, I felt like I was in a nicely decorated doctor's office. It made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. 1 Star. Service - The staff went above and beyond. I explained my situation, provided my ID and info, and the helped me throughout the process including assisting with paperwork. Each of the nurses on staff were also helpful, treated me with respect, and the whole time I felt very at ease. 1 Star. Facility - This is the most impressive part of Advance ER. It's like a hospital floor, with a nursing station and examination rooms. Also, they can do everything on site, like imaging, blood and urine work, and more. This makes it very convenient because I didn't have to go to different offices. Everything I needed was done at Advance ER. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes (actually No, because it means something happened to me ). But Yes I would recommend Advance ER to anyone who wants a one stop shop to get a checkup/imaging/prescriptions, etc. all in one place. 1 Star.

First experience here was good. The doctor took time to speak with my partner about treatment…read moreoptions with consideration to us being uninsured. They presented several affordable options as well as a "do everything" option, with the cost ranging from $250-$1400. We chose the cheapest option as a starting point, considering it included flu and Covid testing, a cough suppressant, and a steroid. The flu and Covid test came back negative, so no antibiotics were prescribed. After little to no improvement, and no next step recommended after reaching back out to this facility, we went to Baylor Scott urgent care. There, my partner was offered a rapid strep test considering the results of his last test. They tested and treated him for under $400. Now I began to feel some minor symptoms, so we went back to this Surepoint, knowing they were very professional and understanding the first experience, but this one was the opposite of that! I saw a different doctor and crew than my partner, and so I'm sure this is more pointed to the doc that drives that expensive red Porsche sitting out back, you are a con artist! You shouldn't be practicing medicine. This doc heard me say I'm uninsured. He heard me tell him my partner had just been in there and tested negative for flu and Covid, but positive for strep, and took note of my symptoms, and he still tried to ONLY offer the most. He wanted to run all three tests, take blood and do a full panel lab work! Even though I just told him how about we start with a rapid strep test?! He didn't offer any other options, simply tried to scam me into paying $900 for a bunch of testing we both knew I didn't need! I left here without signing anything and went to the Baylor Scott urgent care. There, they listened to my symptoms and exposure, they tested me for strep, and treated me. The PA listened to my breathing far better than that con doc at surepoint, and she had no concerns for cause to run a bunch of unnecessary test! They charged me under $300 for the necessary test and treatment, rather than nearly $900 at this surepoint just for the testing! I'm sure the labs would have made that simple visit well over $1500! I would skip this place all together if you are paying out-of-pocket!

I knew I needed to see a doctor so I agreed and proceeded to. Complete the intake paperwork which is when I was called back by the ER Nurse Brent. He was also great and explained everything while answering ALL of my questions. I then had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Coppola who was very understanding, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood what was going on. While I may have only been for a simple dog bite analysis and check up, I felt like every person had MY best interests in mind. I received a brief treatment as well as prescription and explanation of next steps; however, I felt very confident and informed when leaving. I think everyone did a great job! The place had an immaculate waiting room and I received expedited treatment and services which was a pleasant surprise that left me with a feeling of having a great overall experience! I would definitely recommend this location and all of the staff I had interactions with, as they were very informative and were happy to answer any questions I had (a lot). I will be visiting this location in the future if and when the need arises! Thank you for the excellent experience and service!

Our initial check-in process was okay as the guy at the front desk kind a struggle on how to intake and process patient under insurance accident claim even though we provided with everything. He had to call someone (probably manager or owner) to get guidance. His overall customer service and attitude were good though. After a short wait my wife was called inside. There was this old East Asian female doctor who started to diagnose my wife. She had an accent and was little difficult to understand. Her bed side manners were lacking also as she started to ask my wife personal questions in a very loud voice. I am pretty sure everybody outside the room have heard all the private conversation pretty clearly. They also have this African American female nurse who took/checked my wife's vitals and she had a very thick accent and was difficult to understand. After checking everything both, the doctor and nurse, left the room by stating that X-ray/MRI will be done and to wait for that. We thought it will be a quick wait, but that is where poor communication really started. An hour passed and nobody came in the room to say or check anything. We thought there might be other patients that came after us and they got busy but looking outside the room, we didn't see nobody. Instead we saw both, the doctor and nurse, sitting at the desk and doing something on the computer! Upon a polite inquiry, we were told the same thing by the nurse to just wait for the technician for the X-ray/MRI. After another hour passed of uncomfortable waiting, we had enough and went outside to ask what is really going on and what is the wait for. This is where we were finally told that they were waiting on the technician to show up from the other facility which is anywhere in the DFW area and have no idea how long it will be! This facility doesn't have their own in-house laboratory technician. They have a contracted/on call technician that only comes whenever there is a need and a call is made. Problem with this approach is that this technician can be anywhere in DFW area and may not come for several hours with traffic and everything else! We would not have minded so much if we would have been communicated clearly about this technician scenario at the beginning. They knew patient is already frustrated and low in patience due to whatever happened, why not be clear about the delay and everything to avoid any confusion? Doctor then came in the room and had the audacity to tell us that these things takes time and to have patience! I thought we will get some apology for their poor communication but the doctor was not in the mood for that at all! After waiting of more than 2 hours, technician finally showed up and X-ray/MRI was performed. It took over 3 hours and we got out of there in no time! There was still no patient that we saw when walking out. We were not charged and never got any bill or call from them (hopefully not in the future either) after our visit and I believe they have dealt directly with the insurance company. I may or may not go here in the future. They definitely need to improve their communication with the patient.
