We went here, for the first time, after my wife got into a no-fault accident and our overall experience was not good! We walked in and there was nobody before us which made us happy. Our initial check-in process was okay as the guy at the front desk kind a struggle on how to intake and process patient under insurance accident claim even though we provided with everything. He had to call someone (probably manager or owner) to get guidance. His overall customer service and attitude were good though. After a short wait my wife was called inside. There was this old East Asian female doctor who started to diagnose my wife. She had an accent and was little difficult to understand. Her bed side manners were lacking also as she started to ask my wife personal questions in a very loud voice. I am pretty sure everybody outside the room have heard all the private conversation pretty clearly. They also have this African American female nurse who took/checked my wife's vitals and she had a very thick accent and was difficult to understand. After checking everything both, the doctor and nurse, left the room by stating that X-ray/MRI will be done and to wait for that. We thought it will be a quick wait, but that is where poor communication really started. An hour passed and nobody came in the room to say or check anything. We thought there might be other patients that came after us and they got busy but looking outside the room, we didn't see nobody. Instead we saw both, the doctor and nurse, sitting at the desk and doing something on the computer! Upon a polite inquiry, we were told the same thing by the nurse to just wait for the technician for the X-ray/MRI. After another hour passed of uncomfortable waiting, we had enough and went outside to ask what is really going on and what is the wait for. This is where we were finally told that they were waiting on the technician to show up from the other facility which is anywhere in the DFW area and have no idea how long it will be! This facility doesn't have their own in-house laboratory technician. They have a contracted/on call technician that only comes whenever there is a need and a call is made. Problem with this approach is that this technician can be anywhere in DFW area and may not come for several hours with traffic and everything else! We would not have minded so much if we would have been communicated clearly about this technician scenario at the beginning. They knew patient is already frustrated and low in patience due to whatever happened, why not be clear about the delay and everything to avoid any confusion? Doctor then came in the room and had the audacity to tell us that these things takes time and to have patience! I thought we will get some apology for their poor communication but the doctor was not in the mood for that at all! After waiting of more than 2 hours, technician finally showed up and X-ray/MRI was performed. It took over 3 hours and we got out of there in no time! There was still no patient that we saw when walking out. We were not charged and never got any bill or call from them (hopefully not in the future either) after our visit and I believe they have dealt directly with the insurance company. I may or may not go here in the future. They definitely need to improve their communication with the patient. read more

Highly recommend. Was seen almost immediately after walking in. Front desk staff was quick. My nurse was awesome. Very transparent about everything going but also very comforting. dr nadir was competant and pleasant. Unfortunately, his staff is bad enough to run to the nearest competitor. I made; 4 phone calls to setup a virtual meeting, 5 phone calls to get the procedure on the calendar. I arrived for colonoscopy at 10:30 am and was released at 2:30pm. 4 hours! Norm for such procedures is ~ 1.5 hours. My wife stayed frozen in the waiting room for 3.5 hours with no-one caring about her situation. This theme carry through the medical staff while I waited 2.5 hours for procedure to begin after the anesthesiologist inserted the needle in my hand. Benign neglect best amplifies his med staff. read more

Please dont come here, they are not contracted with any insurance company's and they will yell at you if you ask questions regarding insurance. I passed multiple clots when I went to the restroom. I was told by my gastroenterologist to go to the ER due to all my symptoms and they recommended this facility because they had proper equipment to help me. I was really scared and felt like i was going to get some answers because my doctors office reassured me this was the place to go. Upon arrive I was told to give my ID and Insurance card, and fill out some paperwork. She told me i would have to pay my copay. I told her I met my out of pocket because I had hip surgery this year. She told me it doesnt matter i still had to pay. I was sure I didn't because i used to be a insurance biller for a doctors office and I know how insurance works. I told her to please check my benefits so she can see I dont have to pay. I sat down to start my paperwork and she say you didnt meet your family out of pocket. At this point I knew she didnt know what she was talking about because if you have met your individual out of pocket you dont have to pay anything. Your insurance covers you at 100%. I corrected her and she got defensive and said that if i want to get seen i will have to pay if i dont pay im free to leave. I was frustrated but its $150 and im not feeling good, so i was willing to pay and just get reimbursed after my insurance processes it. As I finish my paper work there is a document that needs to be signed saying that this ER is not contracted with any insurance. This is starting to make sense as to why i was being bullied to pay a copay. I asked her if they aren't contracted with any insurance then it would be considered out of network benefits and she said correct. Why didnt she tell me that from the beginning? I ended up leaving crying because when you are scared, not feeling good and told by your doctor to rush to the ER. Its the last thing you want is to fight with some lady who is rude and yells at clients. I had to tell her several times that i was not genuinely trying to argue with her. It says alot considering she stated she was the manager. I went to the hospital next door they took great care of me and guess what. THEY DIDNT COLLECT OR EVEN ASK FOR MY COPAY BECAUSE MY OUT OF POCKET WAS MET ! read more

My first visit was fine. I actually called them for a different reason early in the morning almost in tears due to concerning heart symptoms and the rude heffer that should have been showing empathy and concern only wanted to know if I had Medicaid but they don't accept it. I've come here twice now. Once walking in after a run in with a table saw, and another instance with my wife not feeling well. Both times the staff was exceptionally kind, courteous and responsive. There are hardly wait times, the rooms are clean, well maintained and they have (seemingly) new equipment. Never have I gone to an emergency room, and rather than having a bill sent out, they sent a card, with a hand written note wishing me well. Not to detract from the other reviewers feedback, but my experiences here were just different in every way possible. read more

Terrible experience!! Rude and unprofessional. I was told when I arrived to drive around to the back under the ambulance bay. Evidently I drove around to the side where there was nothing indicating 'ambulance', I have no idea what a bay is. So I parked directly in the line of sight of the back of the building in the library parking lot next door. They had my vehicle description and they had my phone number. I was told that they would call me when they were ready for me and that it would be an hour and a half to two hour wait. 2 hours later I called to see where I was in line and was told they had taken me off the list because a staff member had walked out back to the ambulance bay and didn't see my car. So if I wanted to have the rapid covid test I'd have to go back on the list and wait for an a longer undetermined amount of time (refused to give me a new estimate) to actually get the test for which I've already been sitting in my car for the previous two hours feeling miserable. Dr. Khan was the absolute rudest, most unprofessional, uncaring doctor I have ever met! He kept stressing the fact that I am obese, even though I have recently had gastric sleeve surgery. It made me feel like I have made no progress. Any question I had, he treated as an attack on him, and responded sarcastically and rudely. I left the facility feeling worse than I did when I walked in. They left the door to my room open a crack, and I heard the doctor and female nurse discussing me and my care very meanly. Dr. Khan was even cussing. The female nurse was a bit better, but still rude and unhelpful. She asked me if I wanted a blanket, to which I said yes. She put the still folded up blanket between my legs. One of my arms had an IV and pulse oximeter, the other had a blood pressure cuff. When I asked if she could help me get the blanket, she said that she had put it there for ME to cover up with. The male nurse Robert was very nice and personable. read more

My son visited a local urgent care center, and received antibiotics although he tested negative for strep. 3 days later he was much worse and extremely ill. So I took him to CHER, where they treated him immediately. They addressed his dehydration, and they ran several tests, and they were able to pinpoint the issue. They gave him medication to ease his pain and inflammation. He left in much better shape than when we arrived. I found Dr. Ahmed and Katelyn (the nurse) to be courteous, communicative, and professional. My experience was a good one, and I'd definitely recommend them! read more
