When my husband tried to tell them how to get blood out of him, they immediately started treating him like some drug addict. Uhm, no, he has always had issues with his veins due to high blood pressure but when he tried to tell them how his doctor does it, they said to him, "well this is not your doctor, so..." what? I think he knows his body. They saw he had great insurance so instead of listening to him they started poking and prodding not even asking what was going on. It was insane. No compassion, no care. Why are yall even there? Just because you have a license to practice medicine does NOT mean you know better than the person you are treating. Also, pretty sure you took an oath to care for others and if this is your idea of care, please, change professions immediately. If you have no empathy for ppl, why even do this job? It's so disheartening when these medical "professionals" see you as a dollar and not a human. We will never give these ppl another dime of our money, insurance or not. When I have gotten sick while being in Dallas, I always prefer to drive here then to go to any hospital in Downtown. The nurses, doctors, & medical billers are so efficient & very understanding in whatever it is you are going through. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable when you are in pain. They don't just treat you as another patient. They are seriously so good with their patient care. Trust me, the drive is worth it. They know what they're doing. & nowadays, you don't get that type of care anywhere.

We arrived shortly after it opened, and parking lot was still empty, so I'm certain of this. Appointment fee is taken prior to seeing health care provider and front desk did make sure insurance was accepted prior to visit (this was 65+ MediCare). They also do not allow anyone to accompany the patient to the examination room. Indicate it is "policy". It matters not if the patient is a senior citizen or someone who just needs another person to also listen to make sure they heard everything right. My "patient" indicated that the PA that he saw was fine. However the x-ray tech, with 20+ years of experience was unable or unwilling to answer the most basic of questions, which included something as simple as the type of machine they were using (a machine with a label on the side he then looked for). This company is now owned by Care Now, which advertising states they have over 300 facilities. Perhaps it is company policy to be evasive, and not tell new walk-ins what to expect, so that patients don't leave immediately. Good luck if you are new to area and you don't have a primary care established yet. A non-life threatening issue like getting an x-ray for suspected fracture should be a simple thing and this type of facility should be a good answer for that service without filling up a traditional hospital emergency room. In this case, it wasn't.

My husband and I followed in a Rowlett police car. I have read some not so good reviews about this hospital but they were so kind and supportive with our kids. They were very attentive and went out of their way to make the children feel comfortable. Everyone was checked out thoroughly and we were all able to all go home with bruises and abrasions but we are all ok. Everyone from the receptionist in the ER lobby to the nurses and Doctors who were on duty that night were awesome! Shout out to the EMT's, Rowlett police and to the other emergency services that showed up that night to help us, thank you! You were all so nice, helpful and supportive.

All of our calls are recorded, therefore I can prove what I am saying. The only person I have been able to speak with is Debbie but after I have explained to her what has been going on and asked to speak to a supervisor she placed me on hold over an hour ago and has not come back on the line even to check if I am still here or to let me know she is getting someone soon. This is unfortunate as I see the doctors have received good reviews.
