I never worry if I'm being taken advantage of. In fact, I know for certain I'm getting the best service at the best price. I once had Honda look at my 2003 Accord because the power steering fluid had leaked. They thought it was a good opportunity to try to upsell me into a new vehicle, so they quoted a $10,000 list of repairs and told me I'm better off moving on to a new car. I went to Superior to get a second opinion (which is now the first and only one I need), and they got all my work done for $1,800. I have used them for my car now for several years and couldn't be happier with them. Most recently I had a friend visiting and her car literally died on the turnpike. Had it towed to Sabo's. They did their eval which, unfortunately for my friend, was 4 pages long. Basically, the car was 23 years old and needed to be scrapped as it could not be repaired due to no longer available parts anywhere. While charging a modest fee for the eval, Sabo also stored the car for 2 weeks and called around to see what my friend could get for scrap. No charge for the storage and facilitation. Nothing but kind, friendly service, real help, more than fair prices, excellent communications, and once something is fixed at Sabo, it stays fixed.

Our driver broke down on the side of the road for a battery issue and was offered a courtesy tow. Then after they jumped the truck was told he was being charged $750 which went to $802 to $1289 . The driver was not told this information and the last time I heard of courtesy someone will let you know what a charge will be before they do anything. The other part of this bait and switch company and the City of NJ is that on a restricted highway you can only use them, and we had roadside assistance as well. Shannon was awful to deal with very rude , unprofessional and said we were wasting her time. I had to reach out to our freight broker to let him know what was going on prior to payment and she then sent a tow driver out when I gave authorization for my card to make the payment increasing the payment to $1289. When I talked with the police officer that was kind and professional he said the driver had 10 hours he could have worked on the truck as well and was not provided that information. I will be filing a complaint with New Jersey Consumer Affairs. Yes, we had to take care of it and every person have their day . What you take advantage of people today can shut your whole company down tomorrow. We will take the loss this company was of no assistance and the people is just as road price gouging trucking companies and drivers . Warning if you are in NJ on a restricted highway with a minor repair try to get it done yourself within the time limit because this company is a RIP OFF !!
