Told me she was getting frustrated with me. Very rude people. I don't even feel safe taking my daughter here. but there's not one good review on here and I now see why.

Well, another day and another failed attempt to get a peaceful night's sleep…read more I was awake again around 4:30 as a result of the pain in my jaw from the 2nd bone graft that my oral surgeon performed on Monday. After the tooth extraction and bone graft in February, I developed a dry socket and had immense amounts of pain for almost 3 weeks. I'd heard people talk about dry sockets before but just thought they were being wimps. I mean I have a very high tolerance for pain but this type of continual, throbbing pain can truly just wear you down over a couple of weeks. After the initial procedure in February and the dry socket developed, my surgeon told me that because of the bone graft there was nothing they could do except give me pain meds which I refuse to take for more than 24 hours. I went back last week thinking that I was going to get my post installed for my implant but my surgeon told me that the bone graft didn't work so he needed to do another one. I agreed (what choice did I have) but was assured that there would be minimal pain afterward because there was no extraction this time. Immediately after I arrived home on Monday after the procedure I was already in severe pain. My wife called the surgeon's office and was assured that I should have minimal pain and there was almost zero chance for a dry socket with this procedure. Well, here we are less than a week later, and I've got another dry socket and unrelenting pain again. I did everything they told me to do (just as I did the 1st time) so there's no way this is on me. Plus the fact that I was already in so much pain immediately after the procedure leads me to believe that there was an issue with his work from the outset. So I've had 2 surgical procedures now by Dr. Morrow, including a failed bone graft, two dry sockets, and immense pain after both procedures. I am at a total loss. I really just don't know if Dr. Morrow doesn't know what he's doing, is in too big of a hurry and just half-asses his work (the 2nd bone graft took less than 10 minutes total), or if he just doesn't really give a damn about his patients. Regardless, I'm going back to his office on Monday, demanding a refund of the $1900 I paid for the post that was never installed, and canceling any further work by him or his office. This is absolutely unacceptable. At this point I'd rather just live with a hole where my tooth was than to risk any more botched work by Dr. Morrow and the resulting pain that comes with it. And I can honestly say that this is the 1st time in my life that I've ever felt like I've been completely failed by someone in the medical field. Anyway, my advice is that if anyone ever suggests that you get an implant just tell them "no thanks" and get a bridge instead. And if your dentist ever refers you to Dr. Morrow's Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Offide here in Lexington for any oral surgery, you better turn and run as far away as you can in the opposite direction.

I truly value the quality of care they provide and would like to continue being a patient here. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the front desk staff, specifically the paitent coordinator, was frustrating and disappointing. I had a billing discrepancy between what the office charged and what was outlined in my insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB). When I asked for clarification, I was met with a dismissive attitude and a lack of professionalism. Instead of taking the time to explain the issue, I was told--rather condescendingly--that I was only charged for a cleaning and still owed the full amount for my crown, as if the concern was whether I could afford it. That was never the issue--the concern was about being overcharged for a previous visit. What made the situation worse was that, before I could even provide my EOB for review, the patient coordinator loudly announced the cost of my crown stating it would be less expensive as previously stated and that it would even out the discrepancy across the open office--in front of other patients. I found this to be a serious lapse in patient privacy and basic courtesy. It's disappointing because the clinical side of this practice is excellent, but the front office experience--especially dealing with insurance and billing questions--has been unwelcoming and unprofessional. I hope this issue can be addressed, as I'd really like to continue receiving care from the wonderful clinical team here.
