I was in a horrible accident and for about 2 of those months my face and jaw kept swelling. I went to several specialists and no one knew what was wrong with me until I went to Dr. Swanson. As soon as he saw me he knew I needed my jaw reattached. He assured me he can help and immediately scheduled me for surgery. The office staff in both offices have been very attentive to my needs. $1625 to get all 4 wisdom teeth extracted, ouch! Every time I went in to the office I felt like once I saw the doctor they were rushing to get me out of there and see the next patient. After waiting for 20 minutes Dr. Glyman looked at my teeth and said all 4 would be easy then he lead me out so I could make my appointment with Mina (I think that's her name). He did not explain anything about the procedure, Mina was definitely the most helpful and charismatic. I was very nervous for my surgery since I had never been on general anesthesia and Mina was kinda enough to easy my nerves. She also did a really good job at rescheduling me last minute since I had to cancel. The day of surgery I had to wait almost an hour to be seen. Dr. Swanson was nice and he made small talk before I knocked out, I remember him pulling on 2 of my teeth and being a little bit uncomfortable. It was all very fast and I felt they were rushing, no one explained to me what they were doing or how it would take place... Post surgery was very smooth and I was not in much pain, just discomfort. Mina called by the end of the day to check on me, thank you! For the price I expected more professionalism and not just one more patient they needed to see to cash my check. I've been to this doctor now 3 times over the last decade and EVERY SINGLE TIME he has been WONDERFUL. I won't go anywhere else. Not only is he super nice, he has a great sense of humor to. It took a little over 3 months to schedule my 4 wisdom tooth removal surgery. Price was fitting to what you get. Since I got all 4 teeth removed at once, I expected discomfort. For the pain I was only prescribed ibuprofen. Again I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed at once. When I called and told them the amount of pain I was feeling, I was told to switch off between Tylenol and ibuprofen (which I had already been doing.) and then the office woman proceeded to read word by word, what said on my post op care sheet. Needless to say it was very painful and I would not recommend this facility. read more

Ok where to start. I lost my job because of corona virus so I lost my insurance as well. Luckily I got Medicaid because I needed 4 molars removed and had some persistent swelling that was causing mass amounts of pain. I had to wait six weeks in pain for the surgery. Finally surgery day came and I was told to arrive at hospital at 9 am, having nothing to eat or drink for 9 hours beforehand. I laid in that hospital bed until 4 pm until I finally got surgery. Afterwards, he didn't prescribe me any pain meds!! Four teeth removed and mandible sliced open and he thought Motrin was good enough. When I called the office the next day in extreme pain he refused to talk to me or see me. He did not provide reasonable care after surgery at all and basically said "well go to ER" instead of seeing me. That's a pretty intense surgery to not even receive Tylenol 3. I peed in a cup so they know I peed clean. No reason to make someone suffer. I wouldn't suggest this dentist to my worst enemy. read more

Ok, first off, Dr Swanson is a good doctor. I've used him for my mouthguards for over 10+ years. BUT that said, each time I've come, the waits get longer and longer for appointments set weeks in advance. I realize that they might have trauma situations where there is a triage and they're running behind. But today I waited over an hour and no one said anything to me about it might be running long, no apologies, nothing. And people who walked in behind me we're going to the back offices. I just left and told the front desk I was done with it. No WiFi to help pass the time, and a stupid talk show on tv, I was hungry, tired and done with it. It's too bad, cuz he's a great guy and I've waited 45 minutes before, but I knew it was just a 5 minute follow up and he couldn't even take care of an older patient who's been with him all this time, or send someone out to talk to me and no attempt to reschedule me. No water, a semi working elevator, no bathroom in waiting area, so I'd have to leave office to go and would probably lose my spot. So I just wanted People to know to leave plenty of time to see him. Especially if you are new. Then again, he's taken care of my mouthguards for years. Also, it was covered by insurance for first one, for part of it, but nothing else after. So if you need a replacement, they used to be 600, but have gone up a lot since my last one. For this price, I hope to find a doctor who values my time, and appreciates my business. read more

Last week when I call the clinic to make appointment for my Daughter the receptionist who answer the phone did not obviously know her job she gave false info and never even ask me what kind of insurance we have I ask her if they have other clinic closer to my house in southwest and she told me they have one in Summerlin but she doesn't know the address so I told her I will keep the present location that was given to us on the referral at the Flamingo location guess what happen when we show up we were not on the list for the appointment she book our appointment in Summerlin although she told me she doesn't even know where it is so I told her were staying on this location since we already at the Flamingo clinic. Again she try to ask for the insurance referral . I don't really get upset easy but if you have staff who don't even know what they are doing I suggest they need more training.I told her I dont need one and she finally realize we have a PPO unbelievable just found out her name is Verona she need more training who ever runs this place thank you Verona. Plus side staff inside the clinic are pretty much nice and knowledegeble of what they are doing just this one hitch that I encounter im still giving 4 star reason one bad egg doesn't make the whole place rotten. I have had extractions before, and it's always a scary experience. Dr. Swanson was by far THE BEST doctor I've ever had when it comes to pulling teeth. He has a very light hand with anesthesia and I barely felt the needle. My tooth had broken off completely down to the gum line and I thought I would need actually surgery to get it out. He was able to pop it out the old fashioned way with forceps in a matter of minutes. He has a sweet and professional demeanor that is very calming in this stressful situation. read more

We waited 5 hours for Dr. Swanson to show up and remove our teenage son's wisdom teeth. No explanation or apologies were given.

May 2 2017, I was physically attacked. Due to the attack, my jaw was fractured and 3 different places. I love my face and skin. I felt horrible , May 4 I had a appt with Dr. Swanson. I was so loved, I didn't feel like a patient I felt like family. I personally been to both offices and both are very clean & perfessional. My surgery was scheduled for May 5. I went to Saint Rose Hospital, I was alone the whole time. My family lives far, Dr, Swanson made sure that I was ok. My 1 wk check up, I cried my eyes out on his chair. Dr, Swanson once again, makes me feel better. Tommorow Is my 3 wk check up. I was told I was on of his best surgeries. Thank you Doctor, I'll never forget what you did for me . read more

The staff very professional very nice and helpful and Eric Swanson is a very good and nice awesome and funny dentist dr. Very quick no pain and to the people who said about the time has it ever occurred they are a "surgery" Dentist they have so any patients they have to hurry it's there job it's called professionalism they just can't sit with patients all day they have very important stuff to do and only a few hours to do it 8 9 hours and probably like 10 20 patients a day that's a lot of hard work to take on and can be stressful on everyone people should stop thinking and being so selfish and think all the way around first before you think and say negative because what you think and feel and reality could be a heck of a lot more different from all! and if your friendly there friendly and you know they could have been rushy for several reasons they get nervous I'm sure too they have to make sure everything is ok and perfectly safely done! So if your looking to get your teeth pulled this is the best place to go in my opinion :) and to the staff thank you again I'm doing really good so far and I'm feeling fine tired a lot but I'm good :) have a good year everyone :-) read more

Went to some dentist because I had a horrible pain in my upper back molar. He explained that I needed to have the tooth removed because It had broke in half and was badly decayed. The dentist stated that he would love to tackle the extraction, but felt a little nervous about the procedure. He recommended Dr. Swanson. I called same day and they had a appointment open so I rushed right over to their Flamingo location. The location is a little out dated style wise, but I was not seeing a designer. I waited in the lobby for about 10 min and the front desk lady was very rude when I asked about the bathroom, I am sure she was very busy. I then saw Dr. Swanson. He stated my 15 and 16 tooth had an extra tooth that was growing in and broke off. I was rescheduled a couple weeks later for the extraction so I could take my antibiotics. The weeks past and I was ready to go. Feeling nervous as hell I showed up to my appointment 15 min early. I am a heavy gagger and cant have even a toothbrush in my mouth without possible throwing up. I explained this to the staff which was very polite and understanding. They said not to worry and they deal with this all. the time. Dr. Swanson came in, he is a very tall gentlemen but makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. He wanted to make sure I had a good understanding of what was to happen during the procedure and if there was anything I needed. As he began I was waiting for the shot pinch that most of us hate, he did it so fast I DID NOT FEEL A THING.....let me repeat this......I DID NOT FEEL A THING WHEN THE DR SHOT MY GUMS. I have never had that before. so the big scare was over. He waited about 15 min for the medicine to set in and came back. After a few tugs and a pliers pull (lol) the tooth came out. Took about 2 minutes. So fast I didn't even know what happened. I looked at other extractions on Youtube to see how bad they might bleed as I hate blood. My extraction, nothing. half a gauze for about 10 min and then no blood. I listened to the nurse instructions and I was out. Total of about 20 min. They prescribed me some antibiotics and pain medicine which I was to take as then next day was supposed to be the worst pain. NOTHING. I mean NO PAIN AT ALL. Went to the drive in and played wiffile ball all day. I am so impressed at this dentist. If you are nervous or a gagger I highly recommend Dr. Swanson and his staff.
