We waited 5 hours for Dr. Swanson to show up and remove our teenage son's wisdom teeth. No explanation or apologies were given.

Unfortunately, the first staff member I spoke with was extremely rude and unwilling to help. When I explained my situation and asked about rescheduling, she abruptly told me the provider was booked until July and seemed bothered by my request. After I expressed my frustration with her lack of customer service, she hung up on me. I called back and spoke with someone else who was much more polite and professional, but unfortunately they were unable to offer any solutions. While I understand scheduling limitations, there is no excuse for being disrespectful to patients who are simply trying to coordinate necessary follow-up care. The interaction left me disappointed and frustrated with the office's customer service. Please book somewhere else where your time and money are valued.

After two phone calls they assured me my insurance covered the consultation and once there they started charging me for everything. The worst second opinion Called and scheduled a appointment…read morefor a second opinion to have my wisdom teeth looked at / possible removal. The day of the appointment I arrived a little a early so I could do paper work and etc the receptionist took my ID & insurance card pushed me a clipboard to fill out before I could even get called back I had to deal with the receptionist three different times . After the third time I left to go to the restroom came back and sat there and waited and waited meanwhile the staff called everyone that were sitting in the waiting room or had checked in. Finally an hour later I finally got called to the back got a x ray and shown to a room. A short time later Dr. Swanson finally walks in throws a pair of gloves on takes a look literally a minute later he pulled them off said we will get you scheduled for surgery it'll be done with an iv and you'll be a sleep I had asked him about the other option to where I'm numb and relaxed he said I don't know if you can handle a ton of needles I had mentioned that my anxiety the day of the appointment was high and day of the procedure would be through the roof & i had mentioned I had one other medical issue his suggestion was to have me fully knocked out to ease with my anxiety the surgeon told the girl at the computer let's go ahead and get him scheduled that way he opened the door walked out of the room I finish up with the girl in the room & i head out. In all honesty Dr. Swanson really didn't give a care about me he just saw another person to perform surgery on, just another number he & Dr. Glyman can say how many happy patients they've helped date of appointment 6/12/2023 New East side address: 825 N. After a few minutes, the call auto-transferred to extension 2001 and I got a voicemail that said no one was available. So, I called back. This is where things got rude. I got the same person who immediately tried to put me on hold again. I told her I'd already been through that. Without even giving me a chance to explain what happened she retorted "We're busy!!! Hold on!!!" And she put me on hold again!! After a few minutes, I hung up before getting transferred to nobody again. Today, I tried calling again and the woman immediately tried to put me on hold again. I told her I'd already been through that And again, given no chance to explain and I got the same exact rude response. "We're busy!! Hold on!!" I called again and tried a different menu choice hoping I could get someone who could connect me to an office manager. I got a voicemail for a confide phone line. I left a message to have an office manager to call me back. Will see what,if anything, happens. Since the office staff scheduling appoinTientsin are "too busy" and too rude, it's time to find a different oral surgeon. I only hope that Dr. Swanson & Dr.Glyman see this. They need to know how their frontline staff behaves and how they are driving away patients including me!!

The young ladies in the front are very patient considering they had patients coming in left and right! I believe I was told 102 patients for oral surgery. They deserve a raise for how quick and patient they are with the type of folks I saw come in here. That comment about the whole African Americans not being served quickly BS. sis gotta chill. Because I'm black and dang near majority of the patients were black. They move as quick as they can. Henry and I believe her name was Iridle (sorry if I got that wrong) also were amazing. Great conversation to keep me calm because I was terrified! The oral surgeon was also great! Informed me of what to expect and answered any questions or concerns I had. The facility isn't in the best area, which had me a bit worried, but the staff made everything feel welcoming.

Bionic Smile Review - 1 Week Post-Op I'm only a week out…read morefrom my procedure. I was comfortable with my smile before, but due to some accidents, I was having dental difficulties. I was skeptical about traveling and the cost, so I did as much research as possible before deciding. My research showed they were mostly reliable, and that held up. Travel & Hotel I flew from DC to Vegas. Bionic Smile covers a basic fare, which I thought was reasonable, though that was one of the complaints I saw in other reviews. I opted to bring my wife and upgraded our arrangements myself. I submitted my receipt and they FedExed my reimbursement three days after surgery and paid for my basic fare per our agreement. They were very upfront about what they were paying for. I'm a bit of a hotel snob, so I was worried about the hotel. It was fine, and it made sense once I was there -- they have nurses and doctors who check on you after your procedure for the rest of your stay. Check-in and Procedure They picked me up at the airport and we went right to the office. They did X-rays, surgery prep, and ordered my prescriptions. I paid $22 for the four or five scripts. This took longer than they said, but there wasn't wasted time, it was just about doing the work properly. Day of surgery they picked me up, did the surgery -- I don't remember it at all, you're in a twilight sleep and it was fine. I actually felt fine after and I looked the same. A nurse took me back to the hotel and made sure I understood the medicine and pain management procedures. If you follow them, it makes things much better. The next morning they placed the teeth. That went well and was done in a timely manner. They took me back to the hotel. That afternoon my wife and I went to see Wizard of Oz at the Sphere and I actually felt pretty good. We had reservations on the red-eye back to DC. That morning the pain and swelling began to increase, as described by the treatment provider, and I finally started to feel the pain people told me I'd feel. My worst pain during the week was probably a 7 out of 10. 8 Days Out My smile is great. I'm still slightly swollen and pretty well bruised. Last night was my first good night sleep, prior to that I was sleeping in a recliner. I'm still on a liquid, pudding, and protein drink diet. I'm having my regular coffee and have eaten some eggs. I haven't been hungry or anxious about food. This is an individual decision, but I have no regrets. I had been to a few other places before I committed to Bionic Smile and I feel I made the right choice. They were upfront about their fees and were very professional in their care and treatment. They were the lowest price, but weren't substandard based on the other providers I've seen. I'd recommend them and I am happy with my choice.

Hard to know…read morebut, Before I could even have an opinion about their work, I was experiencing everything that there reviews had said . I would call and no one would pick up not even a voicemail box to leave a message. Just music ! It was almost impossible to get a hold of anyone by phone. I can only imagine if I needed an actual medical emergency. Then you are not allowed to meet with the Dentist and Make an appointment unless you are going to actually go through with the procedure, no getting to know the doctor, or getting to hear what his plan is, and if he thinks it will be successful .. I will say the lady that handles inquiries is very, very sweet the times that you do get to speak to her.. I'm not going to go with them, the price is really good..but I'm not sure about the work!
