Talk about a guy who will go above and beyond. I am not exaggerating when I say that Eric Was climbing mountains and perched on little ledges just to get us the perfect shot during our engagement shoot. Eric Kieu was probably one of my favorite vendors for my wedding last month. It helps that besides being very talented and passionate about what he does, he is also the nicest guy ever. I loved that he has an all inclusive package so that I got unlimited coverage on my wedding day and the engagement session was included along with a large print and albums. He had great pricing and even gave me a discount since both my brothers had hired him for their weddings in the last few years. Honestly I think he should charge more for all the work he does, but he cares more for the art in his photography vs. the money in his pocket. He drove all the way up to Disneyland for our engagement session, battled crowds and stayed till after closing to get the best shots. Then for our wedding he took a million family photos after church for each of our large and in charge families in just 30 minutes. I have been to a lot of weddings and normally we get kicked out of the church and have to finish up photos outside. Didn't happen at my wedding or my brother's thanks to Eric. The man is quick and efficient and will do anything to get the shot he thinks will be perfect. He also helped pose us for pictures which helped a lot since my husband and I are not normally photogenic people. Most of the time we are kind of awkward. LOL. Eric is by far our favorite person to work with during our wedding day. We had a total of three wedding ceremonies and a long reception and Eric was composed throughout the whole day. When it comes to the day of, you want to make sure you are surrounded by positive energy and helping hands. Eric had both. He has two very reasonably priced all-inclusive package deals and the best part is that he will be at our wedding from beginning to end (very important for a vietnamese-american wedding!). For our engagement photo shoot, he was beyond AMAZING. I cannot pose myself in photos. But during the photo shoot, Eric made it so easy to pose that I looked like I was a photogenic model! He goes up and beyond for his clients. And the turn-around time for engagement photo shoot pictures? LESS THAN A WEEK. He actually posted one of the pictures up that very same night!! I recently got married in Aug 2011. Eric did our wedding and engagement pictures. Our engagement photos came out great. He has great eye for lighting and angles. He is very passionate about his work and he really cares about his clients. My husband and I are very awkward in front of the camera, but with Eric's help, he made us feel comfortable and be more of ourselves in front of the camera. On my wedding day, he made sure I had photos with all my families and friends. What I love about Eric is that he understands how important wedding pictures are to the bride and groom. The wedding pictures are memories that will last a life time. The funniest moment I remember from my wedding day was Eric sitting in my bathtub hitting his head because he was trying to take pictures of me getting ready. There were so many people in my room that day. He had to squeeze into every corner and crack so he could take pictures. Eric was with me from 7:00am - 3:00pm and 5:00pm - 10:30pm because I had two ceremonies and reception to follow. The whole time Eric was taking pictures non-stop. Eric was my photographer for my wedding, and he did a superb job! Our wedding was long starting from 8 AM until 11 PM, and he managed to capture every beautiful moment from our wedding despite the long day and night we all had! My husband and I along with our wedding party aren't the greatest at posing, but that was fine because Eric showed us how to pose! He knew exactly where to shoot and how he wanted us to pose. I didn't care for shooting location, but he reminded me that it was my wedding and I should tell him where I want my photos to be taken at. Again, I didn't care, so he chose for me, and he made it so easy! We only had two hours between our church ceremony and set-up time for our reception, and we were able to take photos at all the locations we wanted because he was THAT efficient. Eric is amazing. We were so intrigued by his work. Not only did he capture my husband and I, but the beautiful scenary around us; and my husband and I loved that about his work. And my husband and I have no experience in modeling but somehow Eric was able to instruct us and make us look 100%. Eric is an artist. He makes ordinary backgrounds into works of art. My husband and I are not naturals in front of the camera but he eases you into it and before you know it he's gotten some out of this world shots. He works hard for you and doesn't rush you with time constraints. He shot our engagement photos at three different locations not because we requested it but because he wanted to. He's super easy going and relaxed while getting the job done. The day of our wedding he brought an assistant who was also great to work with. His wedding packages are competitive and include both engagement albums and wedding albums. We loved both albums and were impressed with the design process.
