So, I would like to preface this review with the fact that my standards have been elevated because of my previous care being outstanding. Dr. Vutech is also a truly exceptional dentist, every bit as good and possibly better than my previous dentist. The entire operation here is remarkably efficient and professional. I do not wait--at all. When the appointment time is set, the staff is ready at that time for me. This is unheard of in the business. My first appointment was a teeth cleaning that I needed badly as my teeth had not been cleaned in a couple of years and I knew something needed to be done soon. I called other offices and they wanted to book me months out. When I called Dr. Vutech a person answered the phone right away to my surprise. All the other offices I called had that recording where you wait until you hear the menu prompt that applies to your needs, which I do not like. Dr. Vutech's office got me in three weeks later, not three months. My hygienist took me in a few minutes early and was gentle yet absolutely thorough. My teeth had extra stains on them from coffee and tea and these were mostly all removed because of the extra time we had since I was taken in early. My x rays showed that my previous dental work was top notch and that my teeth were in good shape, but that some work needed to be done where there was wear between the tooth and the gum. Apparently Dr. Vutech could fill that wear space as a preventative measure to help my teeth to last. At sixty years old I want to keep my original teeth as long as possible, this saves money over time and prevents other issues from cropping up. Today I had the first of four appointments for preventive fillings (on the lower right) and they look great. Dr. Vutech matched the natural tooth color perfectly and it is nearly impossible to tell any work had been done, the teeth just look back to normal as if there was never any wear. My assistant was meticulous and diligent and most friendly and courteous. Dr. Vutech uses special magnifying lenses that he states emphatically improve his ability to see what "cannot be seen without them" thus amplifying his capabilities when he is in your mouth doing important work. I now know for a fact that I am in the hands of a truly amazing dentist. My procedure today was painless (novocaine) and efficient. I was in and out in about 40 minutes. Dr. Vutech and his entire staff are personable and friendly, they each spend time with you and go out of their way to make you realize that you are well taken care of. I could not ask for a better group of professionals. Thanks to Marilyn, Julie, Dawn and Dr. Vutech for the fantastic care and skill level that is superlative.

Nevertheless, some dentists do a better job of earning your trust than others (after all, few of us are qualified to evaluate an x-ray properly). Mia Gooding saw me for an emergency appointment in April 2024 when I was experiencing significant toothache pain. She ignored noticeable swelling on the left side of my face, treated me like I was wasting her time, and dismissed me, saying I had nothing to worry about because the x-ray did not show anything was wrong. Still being in pain, I immediately consulted a real doctor. It was quickly apparent to him that I had a very bad sinus infection, which can present as a toothache and swelling of the face (something Mia Gooding clearly lacks the skills to identify). When I confronted the Gooding office about the major mistake their office made, they simply defended charging for the emergency appointment and said the findings of the exam were irrelevant. They truly could not have cared less. Avoid this practice.

Having two people crowded into your mouth can get claustrophobic real quick, but the building is set up to try and counteract that. High ceilings, three walled stations instead of individual offices, not to mention the skylight above every chair which I think is brilliant. The building is beautiful, and the office and exam rooms are plentiful and attractive and extremely clean and well-sanitized. Every single dentist, dental assistant, hygienist who we came into contact with were extremely friendly, engaging, kind, compassionate and professional. We were treated with great respect and kindness. The dentist filled my aunt's tooth in record time and with gentleness and compassion. I brushed my teeth but that was about it. When I was fortunate enough to meet the lady who became my wife I decided to break down and visit her dentist to see how much damage was done. I got lucky on two fronts. One, I hadn't done to much damage. Two, I met my wives former classmate, Dr Ernest Violet. Dr Violet's office is as much of a pleasure to visit as any dentist office can ever hope to be. I like my dentist office to know what an abject coward I am and from the office staff, to the hygienists, to Dr Violet himself they've got my number. I hear they even have a betting pool on whether I will show up for my scheduled appointments. Tricky devils that they are, they started scheduling my whole family together. Curses, foiled again! On a professional front all the bases are covered. They will work with your insurance, handle all the paperwork and still manage to make you feel like you've made friends. Dr Violet is good at all the technical stuff and most importantly hasn't caused me to run out of the office yet. Got my first root canal the other day and it was a pleasure. Alright, not so much. But it wasn't painful. Of course the office staff didn't tell me that's what I was there for. Thanks a lot, ladies. It's been twenty years since I started seeing Dr Violet. I am still married to my lovely wife Jane and I still have all of the teeth that I first brought to the dentist office. Overall, since you have to go to the dentist anyway, why not go to one that makes it as close to fun as it's ever gonna be. I would have given them 5 stars but, IT'S A DENTIST OFFICE! UPDATE: I made the mistake of wearing a "Yankees Choke" shirt to the office on my last visit. This upset the red haired lady as she is a Yankee fan. Before I left the office I'm pretty sure she put a curse on me, causing another tooth to break a couple of weeks later. Whatever you do, DON'T LET THE RED HAIRED LADY KNOW YOU'RE A SOX FAN!
