this dentistry is a complete joke / waiting for my children's appointment for over an hour each time is absolutely ridiculous and I am so over it! Nevermind the fact that dr. drennon says my children have multiple cavities and they need to be put under time as if this is just convenient / last time time I was there I was so disappointed in the room I wanted to take my child out immediately on how unorganized and unclean it was. read more

Above and beyond dentist and all of the staff! They have a fun board with your kiddos name, welcoming them, as well as fun little prizes which , of course the kids looove that. My little one got very comfortable, especially with such nice people that help ease the unsure and scared feelings my kiddo first had. The dentist commented she'd see our kiddo grow, I really enjoyed hearing that. She answered all of my questions and listened and validated my concerns. We will come back every 6 months for sure! read more

Would not go here. Deceptive practices which effect kids overall health. So thankful there's much better options now. No idea how this place is still in business with as many complaints as Dr. drenon receives from local upset parents. read more

The two stars is for making my daughter feel more comfortable than she did with her last dentist. The low score is due to there timing, as I sit in the car with my 3 year old who has just had a major melt down in the office after waiting over an hour and a half for a filling , and my oldest daughter is still in there! The last time my oldest daughter had an appointment we where told there may be a little of a wait , which would have not worked for me as I had back to back appt. my oldest daughter did have her teeth done with fluoride that day which took over an hour, which I understood because they told me so rescheduled her filling today, and here I am still waiting on her to come from the chair but now in my car as I have waited well over an hour and a half for a small filling, not one person came out to me while I waited in the waiting are to tell me what the wait was about, and I am beyond furious and glad I took the whole day of work off for a filling! My daughter was referred to Drennon by her pediatrician so I had high hopes for a great experience. The first appointment started off with a 30 minute wait in the waiting room followed by 45 min+ wait in the dental chair after visiting with the dental assistant or hygienist. We were there for nearly two hours before we were seen by the dentist. For a pediatric dentist, making kids wait that long is absurd. Once it was noted that my daughter had multiple cavities to treat, I was ridiculed for her diet which was not even discussed. She stated that I needed to talk to the director of her daycare about what they're feeding my child, too. Are you kidding me?? I felt personally attacked. General anesthesia was suggested from the beginning and the front desk ran it by my insurance despite me saying we would NOT be moving forward with general anesthesia for a TWO year old. I advocated for alternative treatments which were not initially suggested or even offered. We proceeded with SDF treatment and once that was complete, (which we thought was the final treatment), drennon asked when we would be filling the cavity and that she would do each quadrant at a time. She scheduled the appointment 2 weeks later (which I later canceled) and said we would see how my daughter would handle nitrous oxide. I had a bad feeling so we received a second opinion before doing any fillings. The new dentist said the SDF was doing its thing appropriately and the decay had halted. He suggested we do glass Ionomer fillings (a no drill, no sedation) treatment to level out the "pits" in her teeth to prevent future decay. Insurance would cover this almost entirely. We would revisit filling with the traditional resin in the future (2-3 years) when she would tolerate sitting in the dental chair better under nitrous oxide. My point is drennon gave us the run around. She wanted to do general anesthesia right away to fill cavities on a two year old! There are alternatives that are less expensive and just as effective that were never suggested until I poked and prodded. Additionally, she made us feel negligent in our daughter's dental care. Disappointing to say the least. 2 stars for an entertaining waiting room for the kids, and the balloons/toy tokens are a hit. Nothing to do with the actual dental care, itself. read more

Incredibly unprofessional. I got a call 90 minutes before new patient appointments for both of my kids cancelling the appointments. The person on the phone said he'd "been meaning to call" but hadn't gotten around to it until then. He acknowledged that although the appointments had been on the books for over a month "at some point the doctor's schedule must have changed because she's not going to be in." We are now in full meltdown mode as I'd been prepping my 3.5year old an 18 month old for a full two days (the call came midway through our final viewing of Daniel Visits the Dentist). There wasn't an emergency, this had nothing to do with covid, this is 100% outrageous unprofessionalism. read more

Friendly staff. Welcoming office. We went a few times with the kids, but when they did a clear filling on my son's baby tooth, and didn't ask first...we left. It would have been free for us, but insurance didn't cover clear, so ended up costing me over $100 on a BABY tooth. Didn't return after that. read more

Had great experiences with my 3yo - it's a clean friendly office with the best playzone waiting room I've seen. All the staff are friendly and were good with my kid. Had his first two checkups ever and wasn't bothered by either visit. read more

I don't even know where to start. Their co-pays are double those at other local practices, wait time is almost always 1/2 hour+, they have a video on repeat in the waiting room showing a child sobbing through his first dental appointment (not reassuring for nervous kids!), and most importantly, they've done a couple of things that make me seriously question their clinical judgement. I also dislike the complete lack of privacy other reviewers have mentioned. Try Newport Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. Or literally anywhere else. read more

The patient room is open and it is odd to have personal care given next to strangers. I know that they are children, but each has their own reaction to procedures that are given at certain times. There is no privacy for parents or children. I came in on the day after the presidential election. The TV in the lobby was on Fox News and had a commentator that was very opinionated and degrading to those that did not agree with her. I found it odd and offensive to have such a show on in the lobby, regardless of political affiliation. I almost left as it was intolerable. read more

Fantastic staff. Very thorough exam and cleaning. My boys are very happy with their new dentist and hygenists!

We have only been once with follow up filling appts but so far we have been nothing at impressed. Looking forward to our check ups this fall and that is saying something for kids! read more
