Seems there is no city immune to social issues and how to help citizens in need and simultaneously the trash and other items littered do degrade the public park for everyone. I'm sure when flowers are blooming it's a pretty place to be. It's unfortunate some people have passed the black wires to approach the river and litter. They have lots of places to sit and hang out enjoying the river which is nice along with statues and art.

Trees all around so there is plenty of shade around. I will have some pictures but have to wait for a sunny day. The people who live in the area are pretty nice. People need to check this out and take your family to have a nice and enjoyable, relaxed day. Plenty of parking and it's pretty much well maintained.

From wonderful events like Fall…read moreFestival to DaVince Days to ordinary play dates in the playground, this is a beautiful, special park. You ever have the feeling that two simultaneous lives might suit you? That's how I feel about this park and about Corvallis in general. I love this peaceful town. This park embodies the beautiful and calm spirit of Corvallis. Alas, I only return here 3-4 times a year, but it's always satisfying. Turns out, you can go home again--it's just a little bittersweet.
